We had an intense day at the Medina the day before and this was the perfect antidote. We felt like we saw the real Morocco and Berber villages, benefited from friendly yet professional guides, no stress, no pressure, just special memories... And the harissa from La Belle Rose restaurant was fabulous! Special mention to our guide Nordeen who was the perfect balance of encouraging and supportive and letting us prove our strength getting up the mountain. I enjoyed the trip to Essaouira and stopping to see the goats in the trees and the argan oil factory. Something to be improved would be the harsh breaking when driving, as well as giving us a general location of where to find the best places on the beach as I was lost for quite a while looking for a good spot. I wanted to explore more than just the beach but I was just dropped off here with no guidance.

Dear Customer, this is Mariem Aln from great travel Morocco, thank you so much for the effort you put in the review you gave us, you wrote about the whole day experience despite you had the whole 5 hours free time which we are not responsible for how the experience should be during your free time, as I am sure that our supplier explained to you that we are in charge to drive you to Essaouira and we did perfectly as you had good time during the stops in the argan goats, argan factory etc..
Essaouira is a beautiful place, it has good spots everywhere, if you just followed the people from the drop off location to the old city which would be just front of you, I am sure you would appreciate it and admire it very much.

We just got dropped off from finishing this tour and it was such an amazing day. We had Esmail as our guide and he really made us feel comfortable and treated us like family. Esmail was super patient with us and offered to take photos along the way as well (he also has a great sense of humor!). Essaouira is a beautiful little town filled with quirky shops, cafes, and cobble stone streets—it is a must see if you are in the area. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Marrakech and would like a change of pace from the hustle and bustle of the city!

Normal experience. Basically is a lift to Essauira with some stops. Toilet (where you can have something to drink/eat), goats on the argan tree (where you are asked to tip the Sheppard I think it was), argan cooperative (where you can buy product) and at the end Essauira where you go for 3/4 hours on your own and the return.
I can only comment the driver , Abdel, who was nice and easy going.
The seats in the bus were quite small and I travelled with two beasts on my side (they really made a mess not to mention that they were easily preparing their joints) so that is is to be considered. I suggest if you travel alone to get the solo seat.

Booked the essaouira tour through my hotel. Zaza was our driver for the trip. He was very courteous to all passengers that consisted of multiple ethnic backgrounds. He spoke some english which was awesome since i don't speak too much arabic. Awesome trip, got dropped off near the beach and had about 4 hours to walk and tour the beach and fishing port. Plenty of seafood restaurants.

An excellent day to Essaouira with our guide, Mohamed. The city is very pretty and seeing the extraction process of argan oil was very interesting. Mohamed is very knowledgeable and offered to us a nice discovery of morrocan culture.

Visit Essaouira very rewarding with an extremely kind guide. Expert in many fields, he gives clear and detailed explanations about the city, Moroccan culture, heritage, and answers most of our questions.

We were for one day from Marrakech to Ourika with this company.
The staff were amazing and really friendly.

We really enjoyed this trip. Essaouira is a beautiful seaside city providing an excellent escape from the busy closeness of Marrakech. The place we were taken for lunch served beautiful freshly caught fish and we had a lovely day inhaling the sea breeze and dipping our toes in the ocean. The stops on the way to see the goats in the Argan trees and the women's argan oil cooperative were really valuable and fun stops too.
Excellent trip for our last day in Morocco. Would definitely recommend!

Check Viator, they have affordable day trip to Essaouira (8am- 7:30pm), very reasonable price, you stay approx 3 hours near the beach/medina... It is enough imo to visit.
