Cheap enough but don’t expect too much
Slightly disappointing as a palace I thought perhaps may have pictures on walls and furniture so one could see how they had lived , but just empty rooms admittedly the walls floors and ceilings were beautifully tilled . There was also a small and a large courtyard plus a small garden area , so could see everything in about 30/40 minutes, Entrance fee was only 70 mad so can’t really complain

    Worth a visit !
Amazing palace easy to get in to. Totally understated from the outside and amazingly beautiful within. Buy tickets when you arrive

    Really great architecture and design
A beautiful palace with intricate architecture - well worth a visit, and not too far from the main Jemaa el-fna market area. Dont forget to look up when you’re walking around the palace - lots of great work on the ceilings to admire! Tickets can be bought directly at the palace - cash only (we couldn’t see anywhere on the official site to buy online). The palace was pretty busy when we went, I can only imagine it’s 10 times busier during the peak season!

Not to be missed while in Marrakesh
A very well designed historic place , which cannot be missed while one is in Marrakesh. It has some intricate designs with an excellent combination of wood , plaster , ceramics and marble. The palace provides numerous settings for taking pictures.

A pleasure for the eyes !
When visiting Marrakech, Bahia Palace is a must. Architecture and mosaic work are exceptional. But forget having a photo without someone on it, too many people at all times.

    An iconic place !!!
An iconic place !!! It's worth visiting and if you can get a guide to tell you about it's history it's better. There is an entrance fee but you dont need to buy online your tickets. You can buy them right outside the palace but you cant pay with card, cash only.

Great place but get there early
A great place to visit with some wonderful tiled rooms and gardens. There is currently some refurbishment going on but this does not detract from the experience too much. Get there when it opens and have the place to yourself. The tour groups really fill it up later. Well worth a visit

    Stunning Moorish architecture
Worth the walk down from the Medina. Always nice to get away from the hustle & bustle for a bit of calm. Stunning palace. Some restoration work ongoing but sure it will be back to its best soon

Well worth a visit, but expect to leave with neck ache!
Lovely building, gardens glorious and ceilings simply stunning. Incredible craftsmanship on these and the plasterwork. A few parts clearly damaged by September earthquake, and under repair, but this doesn't detract from a visit. Sadly the number of visitors does - pity about the ones who created log jams when trying to get the best posed selfie! We were lucky to be able to visit later in the day, when numbers were clearly tapering off.

Crowded and overall a bit disappointing
It was overcrowded when we visited and this made it difficult to enjoy the undoubtedly beautiful architecture. Does not live up to some of the other moorish sites we've visited, particularly in Andalusia. Worth a visit but could do with some investment to maintain the quality of the original architecture.

    Beautiful and Interesting
As most already know visiting these old palaces and houses in this part of the world is much different than visiting a palace in Europe. There’s no remaining furniture and no artwork to admire. The one thing that one appreciates when visiting these types of houses and museums is the tile work and beautiful gardens. This particular palace has both gorgeous tiles and a beautiful garden but other than that not much more to see. If you have time go and see this place as there are not very many other places to visit here in Marakech.

Enjoyable half day tour in Marrakech
We enjoyed the walking tour which started at Koutoubia mosque, stepped through the Mellah, had a good hour at the Bahia Palace and wondering through the alleys up to Jemaa el-Fna. Thanks to our guide Rachid gave us information about the various areas. Also showed us a few good places to get spices.

    Crowded,lack of inscriptions
The 70Dh is too steep for what value you get. Visited on Sunday morning- probably the worse time to visit is around 11am when it got so Crowded that there was no space to move around. Beautiful interior but experience blatantly ruined by number of visitors. Inadequate amounts of inscription reading the building. Avoid if possible!

    Nice walk through
We got tickets and did a walk through of the Bahai palace. It was pretty cool. The woodwork is impressive and the gardens within are beautiful. I do wish we had a guided tour after doing it.

The views are amazing and the palace is stunning. Worth doing even if this is only one of the places you can visit.

Located inside the old city (medina) of marrakech, well worth a visit while in marrakech, the speciality of this palace is the painting of the ceilings which are so intricate and unique. The highlight of this palace is the huge courtyard (a part of which was under renovation) which you will find as you walk further into the palace which is almost at the end of the palace. The palace was crowded with tourists during my visit.

This "new" Palace in relative terms, has captured the classic old styles, with some new ideas and designs. The Palace and surrounding Minaret de la Koutoubia are a must see in the City.

It was okay, I didn’t get to see all the things in there, there was also a construction going on at the time my daughter and I went so it makes me wonder what we missed out on

Majorelle Garden is amazing and the colours are really impressive. Bahia Palace is a great place to see mosaic and incredible arabesque windows and doors.
Attention: if you follow GPS to get to Bahia Palace you will reach the wrong place. Plus: you will find young people in small motorbikes trying to persuade you to buy things. Locals give you the wrong indications to get to this attraction. Be careful!

Also known as Palacio da Bahia (Arabic: قصر الباهية‎), which means “brilliance,” this historic site can be summarized in a single word… Palatial. My only regret is that our tour group of 35 had only two hours to explore this vast complex. The palace and 2-acre gardens opening to courtyards was constructed in the late 1800s, intended to capture the Islamic essence and Moroccan style, particularly the intricate mosaic tile-work. It was built at the behest of Moussa Ba Ahmed, grand vizier of the sultan, for his personal use. It was a harem that housed quarters for 24 concubines.

I highly recommend much research before exploring this phenomenal site. Enjoy! I certainly did.☺

My main negative is at 70dh (roughy $10.50) it is quite pricey.
On the positive, it’s a classic example of luxurious moorish architecture and a treat for the eyes.
