About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- JackieI1420 contributionsOne of the best days we had.Really enjoyed this day trip. One of the best things that we did in Morocco. Very careful driver and a good quality vehicle. Trekking guide was very knowledgeable, with good English. Manageble trek through local villages with some great views. Lunch was very very good and it was lovely to stop for a mint tea on route. Driver happily stopped at the local market on the way back (a request we made) and I picked up some great dates and walnuts. Next time we will book a longer trek and would happily use this company again.Written January 13, 2025
- ashleynyc6310 contributionsPros and consI'll go with the cons: 1. The argan oil cooperative stop just feels like a guilt trip to get you to buy things. 2. You get to the desert so late, the sun has basically set so you're in the twilight. Ypou don't get the sun setting on the desert while on camel back experience 3. the dinner was weak. no dessert even. Nonetheless, it was still an enjoyable activity. I think they good start earlier, beef up the arghan performance so that it doesn't feel like you are just being hustled, and voila. The camel ride was enjoyable, a really great experience.Written January 6, 2025
- thk19960 contributionsBreathtaking views, awesome guideAbsolutely fabulous trip with our guide Hassan. We were collected from our hotel in an air conditioned minibus and driven to the Atlas Mountains. We stopped on the way at shop selling Moroccan pottery , carpets and rocks- very beautiful (they accept card payments) then arrived at the mountains for a trek. Wear good sturdy shoes and it’s quite a strenuous walk/climb up but the views are spectacular. Hassan was amazing and he helped me over the small bridges and up the path - I have arthritis in my knees and managed the walk but I wasn’t prepared for the hike. We climbed up to the highest village in the mountains and ended up at a little restaurant where we had food (€6) food was amazing. Then we walked back to the minibus which had driven up to meet us Would totally recommend this trip but please be prepared for quite a hike. Also be prepared for the hike taking Moroccan time- we learnt that a Moroccan 5 is roughly equivalent to a Scottish Highlands 5 minutes (in real life 20 minutes lol) Thank you Hassan from Tracey and Jackie!Written December 2, 2024
- Mstuyt0 contributionsBest Atlas Muntain (& Beyond) Trekking Adventure Company EVER.Our 3-day hiking experience was amazing, and exceeded our expectations. This would not have been possible without the incredible support of Mohamed and his team. With only a few days notice his team assembled a knowledgable/experienced guide + cook that ensured we experienced the amazing beauty of the Atlas mountains and helped us understand the history of the Berber people and region. At the end of our trek, Mohamed then coordinated transportation and an amazing driver so that we could experience the magic of the Sahara desert (again on very short notice). We highly, highly recommend creating your Atlas mountain adventure (and anywhere else in the country) withTrekking in Morocco. 10/10.Written November 27, 2024
- 98gavine0 contributionsExcellent TripThis is the second occasion that we've travelled with the Company. We spent 8 days spread across Marrakesh, the South and the High Atlas. Mohamed (the owner) did an excellent job planning and overseeing the whole trip, which was faultless and competitively priced. Omar our guide in the High Atlas was also great. We will use again.Written November 14, 2024
- Navigate124478517480 contributionsGreat Agafay night tourIt was great day out of the busy Marrakech. The sunset on Camels was the highlight of the tour as well as the dinner with local Music and show. We highly recommend it.Written November 9, 2024

- Bigdorm0 contributionsImperial City TourHaving previously used trekking tours before we had no issue’s with using Mohamed and his team again, but this time we booked an Imperial city tour which has been on our bucket list for a while to do around Morocco (the price was a lot more favourable than other operators). We found the whole process from initial contacting Mohamed to arriving a pleasant experience, all transfers arranged with no problems from and to airport. The raids booked were of a good quality and comfortable not high end but were exactly what was required for this type of tour, our car was comfortable and can’t speak highly enough of our driver Hicham who looked after us every step of the way ensuring we were happy and answered our many questions and was a good source of information about all things Moroccan on the journey. This was a jammed packed tour with many long days travelling, but it is worth it to see a really wonderful country, with its wonderful cities, attractions and diverse regions from desserts to green valley’s, the guides in the cities were first class on this tour really giving you a sense of Moroccan culture and history, and the food provided was great, even stopping in a remote town for grilled bbq style lamb from a road side cafe which was just perfect for my wife and myself. No regrets again in using Trekking tours again and would highly recommend.Written November 8, 2024
- Culture336342481700 contributionsTop Day Hike from MarrakechWe did the 1 day hike to Taoudja summit in October 2024 and it could not have been organised any better. - 951joy0 contributionsExcellent service, good animal welfare, good food.Good communication. We had a personal taxi collect us with a lovely, friendly driver. The location was large and well run with a welcoming friendly staff. Clean washrooms and a tea on arrival. The camels had a stable facility and appeared well kept. The camel ride lasted about 35 minutes. I had a very uncomfortable rope under my leg, but the other two family members were as comfy as you can be on a camel! The evening meal was really good., especially the aubergine dish. The only reason I marked down was the evening entertainment was short and rather underwhelming. Three men sang the same song to different tables a couple of times and there was one man who did a short fire show. The location was beautiful. We drove past a number of locations offering similar activities and I felt we had made the right choice. Apparently Boris Johnson had been there the day before. I was glad I wasn't teathered to him!Written November 7, 2024
- clairemP1652JU0 contributionsFantastic Atlas Mountain experienceWe had a fantastic time! It was great visiting a Berber market, womens’ co-operative and trekking in the mountains In beautiful scenery, finishing with a delicious tangine lunch. The guides were friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. The whole family (even hard to please teenagers) loved this trip! Wholeheartedly recommend!Written October 30, 2024
- matheww9000 contributionsGreat experienceWe had a brilliant time on our hike day. We looked for something longer than the hour walk being offered in other places, and this did not dissappoint. We had a 5 hour hike up through mountain terrain to a satellite peak of the mighty Toubkal. There were wonderful views the whole way. Our driver Muhammed was great and collected us from the arranged location. Our guide Muhammed was very professional and friendly. He had great chat and was very used to guiding people. He provided a wonderful lunch, and even got an extra vegetarian meal when he found out we do not eat meat (even though the rest of the meal was more than enough!) Overall, I would say that this was a brilliant experience and I highly reccomed it for people who would like to go off the beaten track and have a walking day in the Atlas Moutains with a competent guide.Written October 24, 2024
- Emmanuelle M0 contributionsCould be betterI booked the evening through my hotel, with one car picking us up from the hotel and another bringing us back. The dinner was not exceptional, in fact, it was mediocre. The bread was very hard and not fresh, and the couscous was of very poor quality. What made the experience even more unpleasant was that the servers didn’t seem to know what was in the dishes. I asked what was in the soup, as I have food allergies, and the response I got was, "It’s a Moroccan soup with lots of Moroccan ingredients." The show was, I’d say, average. The men who sang were by far the best performers. The belly dancers and the man playing with fire were very mediocre acts. This activity is a tourist trap.Written September 15, 2024
- GJS2018GJS0 contributionsFantastic family holiday to climb Mt ToubkalWe had a superb 3 days and climbed Mt Toubkal at dawn on the 3 rd day. Our guide was fabulous and spoke great English. The cook & Mule men were so experienced and the food was delicious and plentiful at all 3 daily meals. I can highly recommend the 3 day treck. You need to be fit!Written September 4, 2024

Kasbah Ait BenHaddou is a small village (ksar) famous for its architectural use of traditional Berber and Moroccan designs, with buildings made of adobe (mud/straw) to withstand harsh weather. The kasbah is named after founder Ben Haddou, who established a tribe in 757 and whose tomb is believed to be located beneath the town. The present ksar dates from the 17th century when Ait BenHaddou became an important stop on the caravan route between Marrakesh and the Sahara. In modern times, the ksar has provided a setting for movies and films, including Lawrence of Arabia, Jewel of the Nile, Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Declared a UNESCO site in 1987, Ait BenHaddou is considered the best preserved kasbah complex in Morocco, and only original material, including wood, adobe, straw and earth, are used in preservation. A handful of families currently reside in the small ksar. Located at the edge of the desert and the foot of a cliff, Ait BenHaddou also provides spectacular views in addition to its architecture and interesting history.

We had an amazing day, the pickup was in front of the hotel and we had a private tour to the destination with several stops to makennice pictures.
At Kasbah, we got ourselves a private local tour leader who gave us detailed info about the location.
Recommend this tour, definitely worth it!
