About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Mostafa K0 contributionsTerribleWe booked for meshwi and they want give us tajine . They sad no more meshwi . We paid 4€ for bottle of water. We cancelled everything . It’s was bad experience . Keep your money 50€ with you .Written August 12, 2024
- youssefbV8924DD0 contributionsTerrible experienceVery disappointing experience. Late start of the show due to a so called vip Unorganized stuff , mediocre food. I would not recommend this to anyone.Written July 21, 2024
- 816imaner0 contributionsDisappointedThe price didn’t match the expectations, poor service, servers that served more things during the desert to the table next to us and when we ask he said extra so i said get we get that extra have you suggested it to us and we said no, he said it’s extra for them, they were calculating the food and tables and asking us for money during dinner with their manager, so disappointing and poor show not impressed at all for what we pay no change given when you pay for drinks . Unfortunately it’s to avoidWritten July 18, 2024
- 632willie0 contributionsA big disappointment! We were looking forward to this evening. On arrival the setup looked promising and entering the venue they were different tribes in their traditional costumes and music it felt a bit like Disney. We made our way to the table, after this point the service was an organized chaos, the blind leading the blind, first of all not enough service staff and the service was so disorganized with no supervision that guided the waiter/waitress. Suddenly a soup was placed in front of us. We wanted to order some drinks and tried the attention of a waiter for more than once, after we finished the soup, after a long wait, they cleared the table, still no chance to order drinks. Another wait and the main course arrived halfway through the main dish I have to admit it tasted nice. Finally, we were able to order the drinks. After we finished our meal, we wanted to pay for the drinks, after several attempts a supervisor came, we gave him the money for the drinks. We waited for our change once more waiting and waiting after several attempts we got his attention and he came back with the change. Suddenly people rushed to the events arena as the show was about to start. How should we have known that the show is about to begin. No announcement nothing. The events arena is so big you don’t get the real feel of the show, that was less than satisfactory. We have seen many shows all over the world but this one was inadequate to put it mild. To summarize the event, a disappointing experience!!Written June 10, 2024
- dbs_110 contributionsOver priced, tired show and not worth the hype.Overpriced for what you get at 500DH per head excluding drinks which are so overpriced even by Moroccan standards. food came very late. We ate at 11.30pm. Waiters don’t bring your change when you pay for drinks. Show is mediocre and mechanical. Food is ok but nothing special. There are many good local restaurants with much better food at a far more palatable price.Written May 11, 2024
- Sleepingstation0 contributionsTerrible- please please don’t go.Terrible Please avoid hotels scamming/ conned you in. Terrible food and okish show. Waiter service very poor- hygiene unknown. Lamb has slither of meat- need to scrap the intercostals. Better to spend money elsewhere.Written May 11, 2024
- Wander7719050 contributionsDisappointedThe reservation was made through an intermediary (even if the mail was apparrently the official one), who was interested only in pocketing the money. Unprofessional table service. Unprepared for gluten intolerant guests. The horse show saved the eveningWritten May 5, 2024
- Sherpa8116780 contributionsI don't recommend at all.It seems that it was good some years ago. Now it's expensive and a bad experience from beginning till the end. Total disorganization. The manager and staff at our tent looked like silly cockroaches. We were a group of 4 friends and only 3 had plates and cutlery. After complaining, they served water and bread after almost an hour. Drinks paid for outside. 1.5l water cost 4 euros. Then they served everything in a hurry, and when the show outside started, many people were still eating. In fact, there was no warning that the horse show was going to start. During dinner, some groups appeared dancing and singing traditional musics, but without any joy. Very monotonous. Even the show of exceptional horses and riders could be much better. There is no Wi-Fi. I do really not recommend.Written April 11, 2024
- hfffoman0 contributionsGood garden but less than ideal visit. The garden is beautifully maintained and designed. It is very crowded and you have to book a timed ticket online (and still queue for 15 minutes to get in). You also have to walk in a planned route, with plenty of staff ready to stop you from taking a different path or turning round. If empty, it would take 15 minutes to walk around but with the crowds you should allow 30, perhaps more if you like taking lots of photographs. Don't use the cafe, it has the most surly unhelpful staff I encountered anywhere in Marrakech. I even had trouble getting my change, which was way to much to be considered a tip.Written March 24, 2024
- dovi120 contributionsWorth the moneyVery nice experience. Food was good, lamb was excellent, and couscous also. Many performers and all friendly and good at what they did. Overall a good night out at a reasonable price. Would recommend this meal and show.Written March 16, 2024
- 708roxanas0 contributionsBad food, not for animal loversArrived at location and thought it was enchanting, the amount of staff working and folk singers . The location was beautiful lit with colours and sounds of Traditional music. That is where it stopped . You were set at a table then no communication whatsoever in what was happening. We asked for a bottle of water . Then gradually a soup arrived, lentils and some spices soup . Bread . Then meat arrived - we were vegetarian so we had to refuse We waited. While we were waiting we are bread and drank water . Cous cous and steamed veg arrived - I’ve never tasted anything so bland in my life . To end our meal we were given oranges and a glass of tea. A waiter shows up and asks for 40 dirham / 4€ for our bottle of water All disappointed we head to the Arena where the show is starting. As both my daughter and I are animal lovers we weren’t impressed by the use of donkeys. There was some sort of acting of a war battle where horses are riding at high speed and the Sudden stop and guns are shot in the air Loud and horrid They done a few horse tricks around the arena Then a belly Dancer arrived on a platform Then more folk singers The show ended with all the singers , horsemen and donkeys , camels gathered on the arenas We paid 55€ per person to see this mess and was the worst show everWritten February 20, 2024
- thatnytraveler0 contributionsHugh waste of time & moneyHorrible show! Stay away from this experience. The dinner is substandard, and drinks of any kind are not included. Most often, bottled water is included, not here, not even soda. If you drink wine, they have that, and I understand people paying for wine but not water or soda. They have name brands on the menu and bring you generic. Whether you are two or eight people at a table, you get the same amount of food to share in the tagine. The one thing I give them credit for is they put the salt and cumin spice on the side, and you add as needed. Concerning the show, it’s outside to dress warm since the temperature drops depending on when you’re in Morocco. They offer camel rides or pictures of you on the camel. The show itself lacks entertainment and enthusiasm from the performers. It’s also like they don’t want to be there. The trick riding is poorly executed, but what makes it truly a bad experience is the lack of lighting in the field for you to see what they are doing. Though since they’re not doing much, you’re not missing anything. Beyond the trick riders, the belly dancer can barely be seen from her small stage. The singer only sings if people pay attention to them. It was horrible!Written December 26, 2023
- Anhaizalani0 contributionsUnderwhelmingMany of the beautiful areas of the garden are closed off so you aren’t able to fully walk through. This is beautiful for photos but closing off so many areas defeats the purpose. Overall the entire experience was underwhelming. I was so bored/ irritated, I didn’t even bother to look through the entire ysl museum. The only reason it wasn’t a total waste of time is because I made a friend and we got some good photosWritten December 20, 2023
- dsr3140 contributionsAnimal mistreatmentThe way the animals were treated were horrible. Avoid. Also a tourist trap and waste of money. Stay in the city instead.Written November 20, 2023
- sarahd3830 contributionsAwfulAbsolutely disgusting the food was awful. The soup tasted of bleach and the lamb was pure fat and bone. The couscous was bland and the fruit mouldy, and looked like it came off of Carmen Miranda‘s head. Staff miserable and ignored you apart from when asking for a tip. The show an embarrassing might have been good in 1957 ?Written November 6, 2023
