    A Great Introduction to Morocco
Do not miss this insight into Berber life! We took this trip following trip advisor reviews and were not disappointed. The driver Abdul was very welcoming and passionate about his community. It was a great insight into the morrocan and Amazigh peoples, how they live and the strength the communities in the Atlas mountains possess. A must do for any travellers new to Morocco.

    Excellent tour
Seeing the effects of the September 2023 earthquake on people and geography was very impactful. Excellent excursion, very lively group and spectacular contact with natives. Very well organized and delicious food.

    Amazing experience👏
Amazing trip, beautiful views, waterfalls, and the camel ride. The lunch was super tasty, we had chicken tajin with vegetables/bread and the desert. Our guide Ibrahim was amazing from the beginning to the end. He answered all our questions and he knew the area very well. He was very responsive on WhatsApp when we needed info before meeting him for the trip. Ibrahim was also very friendly and suggested to take pictures to all of us, he was amazing, and thank you Ibrahim 🙏🙏

The tour is nice, nice stops on the way the food that we got served was great. Hamid was a great tour guide, he is very friendly and speaks English very well. When doing this tour I hope you'll have him as your guide! Kamal was our driver, also very friendly, takes the time for you and helps where he can. Underwhelming, disappointing experience
The stop for tea was a sales pitch for local products up-sold at 200%. In my opinion, the camels were treated very poorly. Many camels yelped in pain, were foaming at the mouth, and appeared to be underweight. We went on an Atlas Mountains day trip the day before and their camels were treated MUCH better, just for reference. Although I understand that this may be a cultural difference, I am usually not affected by things like this and ended up sitting out of this portion, despite doing a different camel ride the day before. The dinner was average tagine and couscous, but you can find better in Marrakech. It is advertised as an intimate night but we were seated with strangers, which is okay, just not what was advertised. The best part of the whole night was the band’s entertainment and fire-show, which was unexpected. For organization, I recommend more entrances and exits for the site. Members of our group were lost while leaving because of the lack of communication between our guide and the members.

Highly recommend to anyone, our guide was Ibrahim and he was very friendly and imformative. We done a lovely walk but remember to wear good footwear and be prepared for a walk! The restaurant we went too for lunch was amazing and really got to experience the cultural food. The argon oil experience was amazing really got to know and all the women in there was so friendly. Amazing trip overall and met some amazing people on this trip too. Mixture of couples, solo people on the trip but all got along very well.

Best thing we did on our 7 day trip! Would highly recommend!
The best day of our 7 day trip! Super helpful, caring and hospitable tour guide Hamza. Excellent comms before the trip to arrange the pickup. Spoke very nice English as well and provided guidance and announcements throughout the trip. Nice brief stop for tea and argan oil making. Lively hosts. Beautiful camp location. Nice and easy short camel ride. Great 3 course meal. Excellent after meal entertainment programme with music and dance and ended nicely with a fire show. Timely and smooth hotel pick and drop in a decent van. Booked at short notice and the operator on the phone guided very professionally. Worth every single penny. Would highly recommend. Attended with Mrs and a 2 yrs old.

Great trip, just need better communication
Overall the trip was good and enjoyed most of it. however, communication could have been better from the promoters in terms of sending the address of the meetup place and making it clear that we will be doing a long walk up steep hills as this was a challenge for me. Apart from that it was a great experience

Camel riding, lots of gorgeous scenery, amazing food and extremely friendly people
Our guide Omar picked us up from our hotel and drove us to the desert to ride camels. Our driver/guide was both welcoming and amusing; he pointed out everything and gave us explanations of what they were; even if they were simple, he wanted to teach us everything he could. We were provided gear and taken on a camel ride through the desert, which was wonderful. They took beautiful shots of us, and we then had tea and snacks before leaving. Omar drove us over the mountains, stopping every now and then to let us take more pictures and videos, truly allowing us to experience Morocco. We stopped for lunch and to learn about the production of argan oil. I purchased some avocado and argan infused moisturiser, which I am convinced has changed my life. Omar then drove us into the valleys, where we met Hamid, our guide for the walk up to the waterfall. Hamid was a genuinely lovely and knowledgable man who was eager to share his experiences and made things feel so authentic; we couldn't have had a better day due to our guides and saw some amazing views. I highly recommend this activity

This trip is only as good as the guide you go with. Fortunatelty we had a brilliant guide, Ishmael and a great driver Mohamed.

It's a full day 09:00 - approx 17:30. Despite having rain and low cloud in the mountains (where apparently it seldom rains ' typical!'), the scenery was fabulous. Ishmael gave us lots of interesting information about life in the mountains and the Berber people - it was this that really brought the trip to life.

We opted out of the camel ride, there was no pressure to take part at all, but those that did said it was great fun. The waterfalls were great, not on the scale of Ouzoud but we didn't expect them to be. I would say that you need sensible footware; trainers, walking boots are perfect, something with some tread, but flip flops or high heels definitely not.

The waterfalls are reached via a hilly pathway, which can narrow in places and is stoney. In case you are worried there are no precipitace drops or anything like that, and the walk to the waterfalls can be done by anyone who can manage a hilly woodland walk for about 30 mins (it is not accessible for people with limited mobility though).

Prior to the walk we were taken to a terraced restaurant for a tagine, which was really rather good (one of the better ones that we ate on the holiday). It cost around €6 / £5.50 (this isn't included), and included was water and some fruit.

After the waterfalls we were thankful to be taken to Ishmael's aunt's house, where we were served mint tea and some nibbles.

The journey back takes about 1 hour 15 mins (you take a different route home).

We thought that it was excellent value for money, and Mohammed's driving was first class and Ishmael's knowledge and humour was much appreciated.

I would highly recommend this trip.

Thankyou for a lovely day.

All the above reviews potentially set up our day to fail. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. To begin with we had been told we would be met at 8:50 however we weren't picked up till 9:15 and whole thing seemed very chaotic. The conditions of the camels was fairly questionable and we decided to give it a miss. Our guide was lovely but it wasn't very informative. The driver had a chronic cough which in a post covid world was fairly disconcerting. Seatbelts were compulsory but driving while using his phone was apparently totally fine. The optional lunch is not very optional. In short, we paid £20 which is no more or less than it was worth and we are slightly confused as to why it is so highly rated.

Our guide Youssef Bachi and driver Youssef were great. Despite doing this trip every day they showed remarkable enthusiasm and graciousness. Youssef answered all questions well (in English) and with obvious real pride for his country.
We were picked up on time ( unlike 2 days ago with another operator who kept us waiting nearly an hour) and were well looked after throughout the day.
It was excellent value and we enjoyed the scenery, the camel ride, the walk to the waterfall, and the visit to the Argan oil shop, where we tasted some oil with bread and also some “marmalade” which was a delicious paste of crushed almonds, Argan oil and honey.
The lunch was basic but tasty and reasonable price at 130 MAD for 2 people.
The walk to the waterfall was not difficult if you have reasonable fitness but it was quite rocky underfoot and involved some hills/ steps.
All in all it was a very good way to spend the day and get out of the crazy bustle that is Marrakech.
Extra thanks to Youssef who went out of his way, in his own time, to deliver a jacket which we had left on the bus. Very much appreciated.

We had Hassan as our tour guide on the day. Lovely guy who always asked if we were having a good time, comfortable, or needed anything. He even let others on the trip use his hotspot during the trip.

Unfortunately, we went on the ONLY day where there was a crazy amount of rain fall which hugely affected the trip. Not anyones fault but it meant we didn't get to enjoy the waterfalls (since it involved a hike trip that we decided not to take as a whole group) and also we had to eat our meal inside.

The meal itself was amazing. Probably some of the best food I had during my trip to Marrakech. Good amount of food was given.

The camel ride that comes first was interesting. I had done a camel ride 2 days before this one and this was a lot more bumpy and up/down. Nevertheless, because I was used to being around camels, I found the experience more authentic than going in a straight line.

Cannot comment much since we didn't get to experience the trip like others would.

We were collected on time in spacious vehicle and were quickly into the suburbs after collecting second couple.
Snow had fallen overnight which gave the mountains a wintry feel. Mohammed was our guide to the waterfall and he looked after us "oldies" with great care. Plenty of amusing chat both away from and back to the village, for good value E6 lunch. Would heartily recommend the trip for a quick intro to Atlas scenery.

This was the best day in Marrakech! Our guide Youssef Kamchad made sure we had an amazing time, was friendly, nice, polite and very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and told us a lot of interesting information about every place we visited that day.
Everything I wanted to see and do was included in this one day trip- prefect for someone staying in Marrakech for a short time.
We stopped by womens cooperative and had a small breakfast, got to learn about their oil production and tried different skin products made with that oil. Then we saw a few berber villages and Youssef told us all about them.
The waterfall was great and involved a hike, but I think most people can do this hike easy. We also had tea in a traditional berber home, which reminded me of my childhood.
And of course the camel ride was amazing. I’m glad I chose this tour company and got Youssef as our tour guide.
I can recommend this to anyone who wants to see a lot of interesting things in one day:)

Promptly picked up from Riad then a short journey picking others up before beginning a pleasurable ride out to our destination. Coffee & breakfast stop halfway, excellent commentary on our onward route before embarking on a pleasant snack @ guides family home. Trip to waterfalls quite strenuous resulting in a member of the party having to return to base camp. Big up for the guide Youssef who took them to safety before returning to the group. Lunch afterwards fresh & traditional then onwards to camel ride. This trip with these two guides was the highlight of our trip to Marrakech a BIG BIG thank you for your company. 👍

This trip was not only great value for money, it was a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of busy Marrakech.

The trip delivered a full day from 8:30 until 5pm. Our driver Ahmed was punctual and a happy thoughtful character. He even got me a cup of local tea when I sat out of the camel ride!

The trip was fun with camel riding, hiking and even dressing up in local attire. We were shown what we believe to be an authentic way of village life in morocco but it also introduced us to some exciting local dishes as we dined in the house of a Moroccan family.

A few points to be aware of though

1. Have cash, we were presented once or twice with "blanket trip" style situations where we shown how products were made and then had the option to buy these products. We also wanted to tip as the service was great and the trip was so cheap to begin with

2. Wear proper foot wear, the walk to the waterfall would be hard in flip flops

3. We didn't mind this bit too much but it's worth noting that our driver spoke very little English (though he tried his best) and we was mixed in with only French customers. So we did feel like we missed out on the educational side as we couldn't ask questions

These aren't criticisms, hence the 5* review. Just points I thought were worth mentioning.

The trip offers some really beautiful views. There are a few stops for pics. I'd like to hear more details from our guide (Omar) because when we stopped for photos he gave us no details. I had to ask him, which valley are we looking at otherwise he just said - you can take photos. But when you ask him he's giving more details. Some of the valleys you will just pass by and won't stop. You can ask them to stop if you want. The waterfall at the end of the trip is not something spectacular, but it's still nice. The camel ride was a nice bonus. Recommended overall
The lunch was fine but in late afternoon (after 3 pm).

Everything about this tour was great, starting with our tour guide (Mohammad Potatoes) and his driver. Mohammad is very captivating and is very knowledgeable about the local culture and traditions.
I got to ride a camel, drink some tea with some local people, then we headed to the Atlas mountains and eat some lovely food in a local restaurant. We passed by a local shop and drank some tea and bought some argan oil products. I didn't hike as I was tired, but all the other members of our group were very happy and satisfied. I was dropped at the hotel around 6PM and I felt that this tour was really nice, as I learnt a lot, the view points we passed by were very nice and got to meet lovely people.
