Wish we'd done this tour on day one! Bassem, our guide, was excellent - extremely knowledgeable and really friendly. We had a great time exploring some of the highlights of Marrakech, we definitely went to places we probably wouldn't have found on our own. Bassem went the extra mile, helping us with bureau de change, and directions to the places we had booked for the evening. Loved the YSL gardens. Definitely the best way to explore!

The trip to the waterfalls was amazing. We had a fantastic driver called Abdelaali who was very informative along the way on this 3 hour drive, stopped along the way for bathroom breaks both going and coming back. He sorted out our guide when we got there who was amazing. Throughly recommend this trip well worth the long drive.

Excellent tour! Rasheed was enthusiastic, animated and very knowledgeable. We were collected from our hotel and ferried around the various beautiful Marrakech sites. Rasheed ensured that we never queued at even the busiest of attractions. He was able to answer all our questions historical, botanical, religious, artistic & did so with obvious knowledge and pride. I can’t thank him enough or indeed recommend him highly enough for a thoroughly enjoyable & informative morning. Ask for Rasheed you won’t regret!

Mohammed has an excellent knowledge of Marrakech and was full of interesting facts whilst we explored the Jardin Majorelle, Jemaa el-Fnaa, Bahil Palace and souks. The van was pleasant, but i would comment we ended up walking 16,000 + steps so if mobility is an issue please be aware. Given we paid £92 for the private tour and guide, I think it would have been nice to have been provided with a bottle of water.

Belarbi was a careful driver with a comfortable SUV. Mbarek was an excellent Guide with good knowledge of Marrakech and Berber history. No rushing about and flexible on where you want to go. Recommended!

The tour was fantastic. Bassam was very knowledgeable about everything he showed us but also the history of Marrakesh (my husband loved asking questions!). He was very friendly and didn’t rush us through anything. We finished off in the market and asked to see a proper herbal shop- although didn’t feel any pressure to buy anything. Couldn’t have asked for more

I highly recommend if you are wanting to explore the area and you wouldnt feel comfortable/confident enough doing it all on own. It was so helpful having a tour guide who took us around the centre and to some really beautiful attractions which we may not have seen or known about if we had gone out ourselves. I would suggest doing this tour at the beginning of your trip incase you would like to go back to anything later on in your stay. Our tour guide Bassan was great, he bought the fun and all the knowledge to our trip. Getting picked up and taken back from your hotel too was a big plus!!

Thank you Mr Barak for an informative tour which covered the main attractions in Marrakech and showed us places and things we would never have found on our own. Our tour guide had a lot of knowledge, tailored the tour for us and took some fabulous family photos for us. It was an excellent way to spend an afternoon when you’re new to Marrakesh. It was just our family of four and the guide. Tip: Marjorelle Gardens was very busy in the afternoon so maybe book the morning tour.

Our hotel offered a shuttle bus to the markets for £3, but being unsure of the area we booked a guide and transport for £90 for 4 hours. The guide was friendly, but I did feel pressure to leave a tip even though the tour was expensive. We could make the tour what we wanted and gave an idea of what we wanted to see and do which was great as it was completely tailored to our needs. It was lovely to see the gardens, mosque and markets. We walked about 10km and saw so much of the centre that we wouldn't have seen without the guide. However, the downside is that the first shop we were taken to in the market was a bit of a tourist trap (air con, well dressed, english speaking, lots of samples to try, lady making argan oil etc) and we felt pressured to buy and spent £40 on a bag of tea and a bag of spices when later in the markets we found it a lot cheaper and more authentic - perhaps we were a bit naive, so our fault really. I'm glad we did the tour and went into the centre and didn't just stay in the hotel.

Fantastic! Our guide was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome from the start. He was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience better cracking jokes throughout. He showed us some good, local souvenir shops on request but at no point did we feel forced to buy anything. The team were quick to respond at all times. Would absolutely recommend!

Our city guide, Mohammed, was extremely knowledgeable about Marrakesh. We learned history, politics, local culture and more at each stop. This tour was perfect because we drove to most sights ( it was hot) and then did some walking thru the souks and the Marjorelle Gardems. Mohammed tailored our stops to our interests which was perfect. We did not sign up for a private tour, but we two were the only tourists.

We went on the Marrakech: Private Guided Half-Day City Tours and Otman was our tour guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and spoke great English. He and the driver spent extra time with us, never rushed us and brought us through the souks to show us the good spots. They were incredibly flexibly on time. I would highly recommend Otman and this tour for anyone looking to experience the essence of Morocco and for those looking to learn about the deep history of this beautiful country.

Abdul was an excellent guide, friendly, knowledgeable and humorous! The tour was really interesting and we learnt lots we wouldn't have done just by reading the guidebooks. Abdul was happy to tailor the tour to fit our needs, and there was no taking us to shops for hard sales.
