- 1Meet your guide at your hotel/ riad for the short trip to the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in Marrakech. Built in the 12th century, its 69-meter high minaret is the symbol of Marrakech. Outside the mosque, you will learn about Islam and its five pillars, and the Moroccans worship habits. Your 3 hours tour guided continues to Bahia Palace, a monument of the 19th century which is an indication of the wealth of the Moroccan monarchy of the time. Palace 160 rooms took 15 years to build, and it gives the opportunity to admire and learn about Moroccan architecture. A few steps from the palace, through the old Jewish quarter, you will come to the tombs of the Saadian dynasty, 17th century. The site, discovered in 1917, and with its richly decorated rooms and ceilings, has become a major attraction for visitors to Marrakech. Continue by the oldest part of the medina, where your guide will take you on a walking adventure through the labyrinthine streets, past spice shops, craft workshops and art galleries, the Ben Youssef Madrasa, a theological college in the 14th century. The madrasa was once home to 900 students from all over Morocco, and 132 upstairs dormitories indicate the importance of this institution once was. Your tour ends in the Jemaa el Fna, the most famous square in all of Africa. Storytellers, snake charmers, musicians, orange juice vendors and tattoo artists henna all competing for your attention.
About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 311ankitk0 contributionsExcellent way to see Morocco and the Sahara dunes! The tour was well organized and our guide, Aissam, was very friendly and knowledgeable throughout the drive. He entertained all of our questions and conversation. He took us to many very interesting views and locations on the way to Merzouga that we wouldn’t have gotten to see otherwise. I would definitely recommend this company for Sahara tours!Written October 3, 2022
- ApattWilson0 contributionsGo to Morocco and use this companyIf you are looking for a driver/guide for Morocco, this is your company. They have spacious, clean vehicles, and proficient drivers who speak very good English. The itinerary is perfect, and you will see so much of the country and meet amazing people along the way that it would be very hard to see on your own. Fariss was our driver and he was exceptional. He pointed out any notable landmarks and provided information, but also let us chill and take plenty of car naps. He was an excellent resource and allowed me to ask him many questions about the culture, religion, politics, etc. He taught us a lot of Moroccan Arabic to practice as well. I learned so much more about Morocco from having him as a resource. Additionally, he’s just an incredible human being and I feel he really cared for us like family. Our trip to Morocco was truly amazing, and I feel it’s mostly thanks to this company and Fariss.Written August 11, 2022
- idod9990 contributionsBest desert tripWhat a great experience, must do! The guide, group, accomodation and food was great. Specially the desert was amazing. We stayed in tents and did a camel ride twice. Thanks all!Written July 1, 2022
- tashal5550 contributionsAmazing route and well plannedAbsolutely loved this excursion. We booked last minute and messaged on the website as the online form wasn’t working. Mohammed was very helpful and we went to their office the next day just before getting picked up and taken outside of Marrakesh. Everyone working there was lovely and so helpful. The route they planned was ideal because they would start out slow on the dirt tracks to get you used to handling a quad bike and then at the end we could go a lot faster if you wanted to. We had two breaks along the journey. The first one was at Takerkoust lake where there was the opportunity to take pictures (one of our young hosts took my phone and proceeded to be our amazing personal photographer!) The second break was at a small camp with traditional tents where we received Moroccan mint tea and a few snacks. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough!Written June 29, 2022
- 259mayah0 contributionsGreat experienceIt was a great experience, all the team were nice, they came to pick us up to our Rihad and the tour was unforgettable.Written June 26, 2022
- X9694AKianc0 contributionsGreat 4-Day TourReally appreciated how the tour managed to cover a variety of attractions across the Atlas Mountains, desert and many small towns and villages within the short span of 4 days. Guides and locals that we interacted with were extremely friendly, giving us insights on what life is like around their towns.Written May 29, 2022
- wtfnamenottaken0 contributionsGreat people, nice experienceThe driver and the tour guides are incredibly helpful and kind. They'll go far and beyond to satisfy special requests/needs.The experience is nice but not excellent as the schedule is tight and food options are limited and sometimes unsatisfying. Please also note the camps is in a rocky spot with barely any dunes, it's still desert but the Sahara you imagine is much further away from Marrakech, therefore hard to reach in just two days.Written May 24, 2022
- rosemary93780 contributionsGreat experience and serviceWe did 2 day private tour at luxury camp. Arrangements very easy and all questions answered very quickly. Driver Reda was excellent, punctual, professional and friendly. Comfortable vehicle with plenty of stops en route. Warm welcome at camp, tent spacious and comfortable. We travelled by camel both ways, again, professional and helpful. The desert is beautiful, the silence and stars alone would make the trip worthwhile but the journey is so interesting and varied. A long way for 1 night but perfect if you’re short on time.Written February 19, 2022

- I5206PHkenc0 contributionsExcellent funRecommend it. We were parents, teens and a grandmother. Camel ride, stars and great desert experience. Thanks for a great experience.Written February 19, 2020
- Ferranpunso0 contributionsPrivate 3 days desert tripWe took the private 3 days desert trip from Marrakech to Merzouga. It was an amazing experience! Our driver Hassan was an expert in the area (being berber/amazigh himself). He recommended kashbas and ksar to visit, as well as other interesting sights on the way. Also, he was an expert driver, which is really important due to the difficulty of the road in some areas. Overall, a great experience that gave us a taste of the real morrocan villages and daily life. I would totally recommend but be aware that driving time is intense, but with plenty to see along the way.Written February 14, 2020
- Q9715LVlaurad0 contributionsUnforgettable experience on the road!Did the 3 days tour from Marrakesh to Ait el Benhaddou, Dadès Gorges and to the Sahara. It was just an incredible experience to see the landscapes of this amazing country, from snowy peaks to red "martian" lands, oasis and canyons and ending up dancing with the Berbers in the Sahara! I highly recommend this trip, the transport and accommodation provided are top notch. Special thanks to our driver Reda for replying always to our questions, for driving us safely and for his awesome playlist!Written February 8, 2020
- Bella123420 contributionsAmazing TripAmazing experience to the Mergouza desert. Our driver Aissam was so kind, always smiling, made sure our journey was comfortable. We were provided with a car seat for my baby. Experience in the desert was excellent, 4x4 was provided on request for my baby and myself and the rest of my family had camel ride. The camp was really nice, but very cold make sure to bring some warm clothes as they will be no heaters at night. everything was clean and the staff was kind and welcoming, I celebrated my 30th and they surprised me with an amazing cake which made me feel special. I would definitely recommend this tour and company. Thank you for this memorable trip and birthday celebration.Written January 11, 2020
