So simple to book from home and everything worked out perfectly!
Pick up from our hotel was precisely on time as messaged personally on what’s app in addition to email confirmation.
We were Welcomed with mint tea on arrival, there are loos at the hosts base and covered area to have a sit down.
We then were taken a short journey to the camels and given head dress and long gowns to wear for our camel adventure - we mounted which was quite straight forward and then enjoyed a really chilled and comfortable trek through the desert, all camels behaved perfectly which was a great relief!
After we returned to the host’s base we had a few mins to have a drink and loo stop then got onto the quads which again was a really chilled experience just as the sun was setting.
When we arrived back we were able to enjoy a couple of beers around the fire with some chilled music and then were called in for dinner, each table was for your individual booking, very nicely organised!
Food was good, flavoursome soup, bread and dips, Tagine with vegetables and dates to finish off, beer, wine or soft drinks with waiter service.
Entertainment was traditional Moroccan music trio and then a very entertaining belly dancer.
All in all we all have a fabulous time, enjoyed the experience and felt extremely welcome and safely looked after by the lovely hosts - Thankyou! 🙏

This was honestly the highlight of our trip!! Every single part of this trip had thought, love and creativity put into. The day flowed effortlessly with regular refreshments and breaks. You felt submerged in the experience because the hosts were so accommodating. Our tour guide, Jawad made our holiday to marrakech truly one to remember!! We started off with a beautiful drive into the dessert, we’re introduced to a gorgeous camp in Nigel of the dessert then moved on to quad biking. This was amazing! We then went on a peaceful camel ride. They then drove us to a new location for dinner. The dinner and entertainment is a once in a lifetime experience. You start by sitting in front of a camp fire with other groups and a man with a guitar serenades you. We then move on to dinner followed by entertainment. Every aspect of the entertainment was unique, filled with talent and they engage with you the whole time. If I could give Jawad 10 stars, I would.

There are three parts to the excursion: quad, camel, and dinner. Overall, enjoyable day out. Your day is definitely made or broken by the other individuals in the group. As a solo traveller, I had a great time with the others in the group (mainly speaking English).

I was the first to be picked up (and hence last to be dropped off). Pick up was on time however, the more people that need picking up; the more possibility for delays. Not the organisers fault. Was very smooth (especially if pick ups are at hotels rather than riads).

Quad section was average. It was my first time being on a quad so I very much had a great time. However, I was expecting to be going a little faster. The group spend the whole time in a line one by one and speed really depends on the least comfortable person in the group. Nevertheless, I was giving myself space to accelerate and even got the tricks involved when the quad facilitators were not watching. I know others in the group who regularly use quads found it slow and boring. The terrain was nice: parts with long straights, hills and different levels to the surface.

The camel ride section was also average. Again, it was my first time riding a camel. Definitely takes 15-20 minutes to adjust yourself and be comfortable around the camels. The camels can be tied very close together so its something to be mentally prepared for but they do not bite! You also get to wear some traditional clothing which was nice. One for the tick list.

The dinner was nice. The food was great and the entertainment was nice. Although, they do start serving food quite late so be prepared. We got beers (which we paid for) - 40 dirhams each.

As the group were great and it was my first time taking part in many of the activities, I had a great time. Would definitely recommend doing at the start of your trip rather than the end.

I rarely write reviews but I had a very disappointing experience on this tour. I gave it 2 stars because the tour guide was friendly and the desert camp was nice and relatively clean, but the tour definitely did not live up to my expectations.

First, expect a 40+ minute drive to the desert in a car filled with other people with no AC and no windows as the backseat windows do not open. Once we reached the camp, I was told to leave my bags in the car and the guides said i would be able to retrieve it after the camel and quad rides as the same driver would take us home. I was transported to the second camp for dinner and asked three times to get my bag from the car as I needed my medicine and was informed it would be brought to me and I only received my bag after I tracked down our driver himself. When we left, our drivers car was filled with other passengers and we were told to take a different car, so I would not have received my bag if I did not insist on it earlier.

The camel and quad ride was fine, but the quad ride is a buggy and not an ATV. My main issue is with the dinner and show- when we arrived we waited an hour to an hour and a half for the first show to even begin. We sat down and waited to be served soup before the show and it took so long for the tables sitting further out to get the soup that the show had started and the hosts were asking us if we were done with our soup and we informed them that we haven't received it yet.

You'll enjoy the show if you like hearing the same 2 songs sang on repeat with a sprinkle of Despacito for an hour.

When we went to dinner, the portions were generous but when the main course was being served a waiter dropped a tray full of entrees on me and I was burned with the hot food and my clothes were stained as well as my boyfriends. I did not receive an apology and instead was handing a stack of tissues to clean myself up and was moved to an empty table in the corner because our table was covered in food. One of the staff took my shirt as it was covered in olives and chunks of sauce and when they returned the shirt it was wet and still covered in stains.

I went to the bathroom after receiving my shirt to try to wash the stains and the sink had been turned off in all of the camp bathrooms, and I informed a staff member and told him my clothes were still stained and he laughed and said he would find someone to help me and to wait outside. I waited outside during the show and received no help and went to find him and he told me the water turned back on (i went again thé water was not on) and asked me to find someone else for help. I was extremely frustrated at this point and messaged our tour guide informing him of the situation. I asked if our meal or part of the tour could be compensated and he said no.

Save your time and money and book a different tour if you want a reliable service. (pictures are "after" my clothes were cleaned

The ATV and Camel Experience was very good. The photographer Mohamed takes amazing pictures and charged my group of four a total of 200 dh for about 90 pictures he took of us on the bikes and camels. The camel trainer Abdel Latif took many great photos of us on the camels with our phones for free and was overall a friendly and funny guy.

However apart from these experiences the show was not very fun. It felt very forced and awkward with the bellydancer and the other performers as well. The show took place in a tent which was very cold and the food was not the best.

Overall the experience was fun in terms of the ATV and Camel ride but lacking/awkward in other ways.

The Agafay Desert excursion provides a great overview of the desert through the quad drive, camel ride, tea, traditional dinner under a tent, and entertainment. I traveled solo and the van with 5 other guests was clean and comfortable. The driver was on time and kind and the outing host was friendly and made sure we were continually enjoying our time.

A few things to keep in mind:

This desert is a mixture of sand and rocks. It is not like the Sahara dunes . . . but still holds its own beauty.

The speed of the quad ride is contingent on the slowest driver but the workers continually assisted those less acquainted with driving the vehicle. You stop to take pictures on a hilltop (with people's own phones/cameras).

The camels are tied together to ensure no one wanders away. Our camel keeper/guide was nice to the animals during our slow walk. Pictures were again taken at the top of a hill (with people's own phones/cameras).

Dinner is at a different nearby location with local entertainment (an acoustical guitar musician/singer, drummers, belly dancer, fire eater, etc.). The dinner is served late so make sure you eat something before you leave your hotel/riad.

Depending on the time of year, you will want to bring a jacket or sweater for the evening (which you can leave in the vehicle until needed since it stays with the group the entire time).

There is a bathroom with sink(s) at both locations but be sure to bring extra toilet paper with you (always a good rule of thumb when traveling away from home anyway!!!).

You will return late but it's a lovely experience for the cost. I would do it again, especially if I traveled with friends/family on the next trip to Morocco.

It was a perfect experience from the first minute till the last one! The driver drove safely, we were recommended to put seatbelts (which I liked), local music in the van was amazing, the guide Nassim was one of the best I have experienced, usually guides often can be “full of themselves” but Nassim was the nicest ever! He made sure everyone was having fun. Camel ride had perfect timing, 20min is really enough, more would be too much. My husband cannot eat sugar so they made him a special tea without sugar, which we appreciated. Gathering around the fire and dancing provided an amazing vibe. Musicians made sure we enjoy and allowed us to try playing the drums. And dinner at the end was AMAZING 😍 there was enough food for everyone and it tasted really excellent. Highly recommend to book this experience! 👌

I gave 5 stars but know what you are getting into. Assumed it would be similar to an “authentic” Hawaiian luau we have for our tourists in Hawaii. And sure enough the format was the same down to dragging the uncomfortable tourist to dance in front of a hundred people. Expected it would be a tourist thing but that doesn’t mean it isn’t still fun. As long as you know that you will be back really late (midnight for us), food is mediocre, and in our case transported stuffed in a non air conditioned van (AC on the van on way back) then you won’t be disappointed. Great value for the money, great seeing how other cultures can unwind and enjoy themselves, and fun entertainment. We all felt it went on too long and realized it was a mass tourist event so why 5 stars? Well, that is what we expected going into it.

I highly recommend booking this when you come to Morocco, you will not be disappointed. The quad bike and camel ride across the Agafay desert is amazing and super fun as you get to go around the desert with amazing views. The quad bike and camel owners are super friendly and welcoming!! The evening was finished by some music around the fire and entertainment which was really enjoyable. I have to admit the food was ok not great but over all the experience was super!

Upon arriving we went straight to the camels and I was very disappointed to see the condition of them. The owners were slapping them aggressively on the stomach and the ropes that tied them had no slack whatsoever. The quad ride had an extremely strict guide who didn’t allow us to go any faster than 20km an hour and had us go in aa single file line slowly and didn’t allow any sharp turns. The dinner and show was the part I was least looking forward to and actually the most fun. Food was great and dancers were a lot of fun interacting with the audience. Would recommend to only book that part of the tour.
