About the operator
- tormorteng00Nice sighs, but quiet guide. The tour was nice in sense of showing all the main highlights of Marrakesh. Sufficient time was spent at all the stops and the guide opened up for ad hoc suggestions too. However I was unlucky with the guide assigned to me and I think he was not health this day. He complained of fever and no sleep. This resulted in him more or less managing himself, and was not very talkative. Additionally he fell asleep two times. Finally there was confusion regarding hotel pick up. I did not get any confirmation of this and needed myself to sort the issue out by contacting the operator. I will recommend the tour, but hope your are more lucky with the guide than me.
- samh46100Private tour of MarrakeshI would recommend doing a private tour of Marrakesh you will see and experience what Marrakesh is the culture and people that live there.plus you will not feel rushed
- rpdbrpdbrpdb0530199000Mohammed AKA Mo was superbThere were 5 of us at the tour. Mo did such a good job. He made sure we feel relaxed. He is such a great tour guide and I really love how he did the tour. Started off with him taking us to the restaurant, then he would tell us about the history or facts about the food. Then he would give us time to eat our food and let the tourists talk to each other and enjoy their meal. Then off you go to the next destination. It’s a good thing because other tour guides would just want to be the star of the show and want all of your attention to them but in the case of Mo, he understands that some tourists would like to make new friends so he lets them talk.
- Jessica M00Great tour of MarrakechYoussef was a great tour guide and shared many facts about Marrakech and its history. Also did a great job at keeping everyone together in the busy streets.
- tarahB2396QD00Interesting, informative and well worth doingWe had an excellent tour of the medina. Mo our tour guide had lived in the Medina as a child so he knew the area extremely well. He took us to all the interesting sites where he explained their cultural and historic significance. The Souk is an experience we won’t forget and I am pleased Mo was with us as to go without a guide would only be a pretty overwhelming experience. No subject was off limits when chatting and Mo gave us a very interesting insight into Moroccan culture and history. Excellent
- Trip73318300Good tourWould recommend this night tour of the Medina in Marrakech. The tour guide was very helpful and polite. Would definitely recommend a tour, as it is very busy at night and can be a little over whelming without the knowledge of a local tour guide.
- Dreamer2346766272200Fine but we wanted to see more, not shops. The tour was fine, knowledgeable guide who was upbeat to start with but seemed perhaps a bit tired by the afternoon. The only thing we didn’t like was being taken to specific shops (apothecary, rugs, wood work etc) where we felt there was some pressure to look/buy. It was also in an area (artisan souk) that I specifically said we didn’t want to go to again as we had already been. We wanted to spend 100% of our time on historical, architectural or cultural locations, museums etc ….not shopping. We said as much when booking and had we not have wasted time going to shops / through the wrong area we could have seen more. On the other hand: The tour we booked through our riad (riad el youssefi) was brilliant and a real gentleman full of knowledge, I would recommend asking that riad which official guide they use as an alternative to this company. It may just be we had the wrong guy for what we wanted so overall fine but not what we wanted 100%. Lastly - The driver was great.
- bj_rnfr_urs202100Get to know the old town and learn how to interact with locals.Mo was a great tourguide and spoke excellent english, he told us about the culture and famous places in and arond the souks in the Madina, in addition to giving great advise regarding hagling and prizes in the soukz. The tour was excellent and my boyfriend and I had a great night with Mo. After the walking tour we sat down and had mint te and bread at a very cosy restaurant.
- Jean F00Fantastic Full Day Tour with Mohammed!Highly recommend this tour and our tour guide, Mohamed! He is a gem! Friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He explained history so thoroughly and patiently answered all our questions. The tour was tailored to the sights we wanted to see, and we never felt rushed. At one point, we stopped for lunch, and Mohamed gave us a couple choices of where to eat in the area. The restaurant we chose, Terrasse Bakchic, was fantastic—most delicious Minced Meat (meatballs) Tajin we had on the trip! The whole tour was such an interesting and engaging experience. My husband and I had so much fun! Thank you, Mohamed!
- Andrea31313100Wonderful Introduction to Marrakesh!Ali was an excellent tour guide who led us on a wonderful day of exploration. He has extensive knowledge about the city and its history, and we learned so much from him throughout the day. One of the highlights was visiting the skilled craftsmen deep amidst the souks, an experience we would have likely missed without Ali's guidance. Ali had asked us if there was anything in particular we were looking to purchase in the souks, and when we told him pillows he brought us to Fadma Rugs, where we had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful Abdul. The selection of rugs and pillows at Famda is unmatched and we left happy, with many pillows. My son saw a rug that he liked and wanted pillows made from it. Abdul had the pillows custom made and delivered to our hotel that evening! Ali never made us feel pressured to make any purchases throughout the day. We were grateful to him for bringing us to such a beautiful, honest establishment and respecting our wishes not to go into numerous shops during our tour. Ali for provided us with an exceptional experience. His knowledge, kindness, and genuine hospitality made our day of exploration truly memorable.
- garit3200Good TourMohamed was our Marrakech tour guide in June 2023. He did a great job. He knows the city well and he is mindful of his guests' wellbeing. An example of this is a member of our group becoming sick on the originally scheduled tour date. We asked Mohamed if he would postpone the tour by one day to accommodate this illness and he agreed, which in turn helped enhance our Marrakech visit. Overall, we enjoyed his guidance and recommend his tour.
- Georgios K00Best thing you can do!The best thing you can do if you are a first time visitor in Marrakesh! Skip the queues, explore the city safely and experience the real Moroccan spots, in a very spacious car and with the most friendly, caring and attentive guide and driver! Ismail was the nicest and friendliest and also very knowledgeable guide we could have had. Communication prior to meeting via WhatsApp was super easy and responsive! This is totally worth every penny, as it’s a full day including museums, back street exploring and shopping too. You will not get harassed by anyone as the locals can see you have a guide and your experience will be a breeze! Make sure you buy your Marjorelle Garden tickets prior to your meeting (you will be advised anyway). You can pay a small price ticket for Bahia Palace on site and a very small fee for the Synagogue. Enjoy!
- soaringraven201500Experience The Marrakech Medina But Don't Book Hotel In It!The guide was informative and we learned about the history of Marrakech and the Royal Palace. Lots of beautiful architecture that was outside the medina and that was the key attraction as our hotel was in the medina. I didn't realize that when booking and it was a big mistake. We wanted to see the medina but not be immersed in it every day going and coming from our hotel. It is packed with humanity in sweltering heat, motorcycles aggressively push their way through the crowds spewing exhaust and food is laid out in the heat with flies everywhere - everything from pastries to raw meat. I expected aggressive salespeople but not the case. People were aloof and not welcoming. Yes, it's an experience. You have to see it and some may say it is vibrant, but if I could do it over again, I would pay a little more and stay away from the sufficating crush of humanity pressed into narrow, dusty alleys.
- Miriam E00A definite mustWell worth doing to understand culture and history of Marrakesh. This tour covers main locations to see of the city . Tour guide was very knowledgable
- Rockinrobin_co002 Trips of a LifetimeMohamed is a wonderful tour guide and personal shopper. My husband and I went last year and bought rugs, lights, amazing vases, mirrors and more, he helped us with negotiating and shipped everything to our home in perfect condition! He is kind and soft spoken and truly a joy to spend your time with in Marrakech. This is my second time traveling to Marrakech and I went solo … he arranged my driver for the week, and of course I booked him again to explore the city! He handles everything you need and makes sure you have a great time. P.S. Thank you Mohamed for 2 trips of a lifetime. I’m truly grateful 🙏

Abdul was funny and a had good energy (even though it was during Ramadan) and made the experience fun. Yes you can see these places by yourself, but Abdul shared a lot of stories and insights into the culture and made the sights memorable ( especially the Bahia palace the tombs and the Koutoubia mosque) . I highly recommend this tour if you are short in Time and want to get and inside view of the city’s highlights.
You will need 14 USD per person for the 2 entrances 7 and 7.
Highly recommend!

Met outside Hotel Cafe France in Jeema El Fna square. Jaleel was a very personable, multilingual and informative guide, waiting an extra 10/15 minutes for some latecomers and regularly checking everyone in the group was okay. He chatted about himself, Marrakesh, Arabic sayings, and Moroccan and Muslim traditions in between pointing out interesting facts and anecdotes about places we walked past. We spent a lot of time in Bahia palace which Jaleel guided us through, the palace has amazing ceilings and tiles, the rooms are huge so even though other groups are moving through there is space to take pictures without crowds. We walked through the Jewish Quarter and past El Badid palace but didn’t go in. We went into the Saadian tombs, you need to pay 70 Moroccan Dirhams each for the palace and then the tombs (approx £6 per person, take cash) We then headed over to the Koutoubia Mosque, non-Muslims are not allowed inside, then we headed back to the meeting place. The walking tour took approx 3.5-4 hours and wasn’t rushed, with walking at a steady pace. Thoroughly enjoyable and informative.

Myself and my girlfriend booked with Mohammeds group tour last minute, but because of this we were given a private tour at no extra cost. Our guide was Hussein, who was a wealth of knowledge and very patient and informative walking us to all the famous historical spots around Marrakech. This is a brilliant tour for the beginning of your stay as it gives you a real sense of the history of the city and country, as well as the ways of life of the people. Hussein was brilliant and had perfect English also. I would highly recommend this tour.

Great great experience! Mohammad took a lot of time to explain everything to me. I was the only one from the group - and he was very kind and patient. The entire walking tour covers some of the major highlights of the city - it was worth the $$ as otherwise you are just staring at the monuments without any context. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to cover the highlights of the city within a short amount of time.

A very good option to see some of the fantastic sites and to learn about some history of the city, the country and the places you will visit. Or guide, Abdul, was very informative and interesting and he told us a lot on the whole tour. The 3 hours for the tour seems a little bit short for what you will see and we skipped the main tomb in the Saadian Tombs due to time (the group’s decision, not the guide’s) as the line for that one was over an hour when we were there. Of course, you cannot go into the mosques as it Is not allowed if you are not Muslim, so do not expect that option. Plan to bring cash ahead of time as you will need cash to get into the sites that is not included in the tour cost – it is noted if you read completely. Bahia Palace is the main stop on the tour and is beautiful and also best visited with a guide to tell you about its history.

Our tour began at 10am in Jamaa el Fna Square with our guide Abdul. During the tour, we walked around the city, as well as visiting Saadien's Tombs and the Bahia Palace (entry for these isn't included in the price of the tour, so make sure to bring enough Dirham with you - 70 per person for each location). The sites were wonderful, and with Abdul's knowledge it was fascinating and insightful.
The tour was due to finish within 3 hours however, Abdul had so much information to share, resulting in the tour lasting 4 hours.
Marrakesh is a great city to explore, but it made all the difference to have the knowledge of Abdul.
Abdul also told us about "Tanjia" - a Moroccan dish which is a specialty in Marrakesh. Ask your guide for the best place to get some - it was incredible.
We really enjoyed our experience and suggest everyone to do this.

My mother and I did this tour with Mohammed last week. There were four of us all together so a good number to be able to hear everything and not get lost. Marrakech can be really overwhelming and uneasy at times but we felt comfortable with Mohammed the whole time and we were really happy to have him show us around. He was extremely knowledgeable and told us interesting stories. We enquired at our hotel about a similar tour and they quoted us double the price of this one. The tour was also the perfect amount of time too, not too short but not too long basking in the sun either. Thank you, Mohammed!

Very enthusiastic and personable tour guide, Abdel. He spoke good English and was really good about both proactively offering interesting information about the sites we saw, and also reacting to our questions well with great details in those stories too.
We felt safe with him even as we walked through the busy sauks, and Abdel even showed great flexibility to allow us to leave the group early to make our flight out of Marrakesh. In my rush to the airport, I forgot to tip him though and I feel really bad about that because he deserves generous tips for the high quality tour of the city he leads!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable tour of Marrakech with our tour guide Ismail - he was great! He gave us lots of information at each historical site, and stopped for regular breaks allowing for snacks and drinks, and trying delicacies such as a special coffee stall! The tour includes a variety of different stops including historical monuments and the local markets, and we had great explanations of many spices and how the rugs are made. We asked to have a look into a local cooperative carpet shop. There were hundreds of rugs beautifully handmade by women from all over Morocco, and Mohamed (at Kser Le Vizir) was a gracious host and took the time to show us many beautiful carpets. I was amazed at how much value you get for your money on this tour, and we felt we were getting a true local experience of Marrakech. Thank you Ismail! Truly can’t recommend this tour enough.

Great value and brilliant for orienteering around the city. Perfect for first timers. Highly recommended. Our guide was highly knowledgeable and happy to answer all our questions. As a walking tour it was about 3 miles in total at a very easy pace and as the city is flat it was easy to do. Recommend trainers or strong shoes (not sandles) as the streets are uneven and dusty.

Morocco is a safe country. We traveled Essaouira, Marrakesh and Dadès Gorges by public transport and hire a care, drove it by our self. Be carefule while walking in madina (Pickpockets), check your things before hand over money. Stay away from people who will volunteer them self to help you. Some part of Morocco are unspoiled by tourist. I dont know which part you are travelling. It is beautiful country. I would go again.
