          Great experience
Our guide Mahdi was very attentive. Stopped at a place for tea where he told us about Berber people and himself. Stopped at a place and took some great photos for us on our phones, as well as videos whilst we were riding. Advice: - This is not a sand dune dessert. The paths you ride on are full of stones. We already knew this. - Your clothes will get very dusty. The guide blasts you with the equivalent of a leafblower when you get back but assume you will not wear the clothes again until washed. Your will need a shower after -Use the bathroom before you head out. Our starting point was 1 hour away from Marrakech medina. The toilet is really not great to use and the sink is outside. It might be okay for a guy, but as woman you would not want to sit on it and it doesn't have a sanitary bin - If you have never ridden a quad bike before, ask the guide for a bit of time to get a hang of it on the flat section you are initially on. I regret not doing this (ended up riding on the back of my husband's quad instead) as I later switched to driving it and did manage to get the hang of it.

A wonderful experience made even better by our driver. He was the best guide we could have asked for.
Five was the highest option we were able to give. We traveled with family and we made him part of that family. We couldn’t have a better driver, tour guide or new friend.

          A wonderful break at Ourika!
I have joined a private tour to Ourika valley during our first family holidays in Marrakech and the whole experience was just perfect. Ourika is really very calm and the settings by the river are very sublime. We had a good tajine for lunch and our driver was very nice. I'd definitely recommend this travel agency.

          Escape to Essaouira
Very nice excursion, a quite long trip with 2,5 - 3 hours from Marrakech. We had some stops on the road specialy at one of local Argan oil cooperatives. It's very interesting to see how this Moroccan oil is produced. We also had a second stop to see the goats on the trees. Our driver was really nice and friendly. Essaouira is just amazing and definitely worth this visit. The city is beautiful, the beach is a dream and we had a very tasty fish in the restaurant. I warmly recommend this trip!

          An awful night out
This was the worst night out I could possibly imagine. The show was farcically bad, the climax was one belly dancer on a portable stage in the centre of an arena that nobody could see, because it was too far away and the lights were appalling. The five camels that trudged around the periphery of the arena did nothing for the show and why six men dressed as berber warriors herded a flock of sheep on to one end of the arena and equally fast herded them off was a complete mystery. The food was worse than appalling, the entertainment consisted of some really bad, and I mean really bad, wailers who stood outside the door of the building masquerading as a tent for all of about two minutes, thankfully it wasn’t longer. Several horsemen performed some rather uninspiring gymnastics on the back of horses before they all ran full length of the arena and fired their rifles which made a lot of noise but otherwise was dull. We left at 2330 as it looked like it was going to drag on and I was loosing the will to live. It was a truly awful evening, poorly constructed, poorly managed and terribly executed. Stay away at all costs.

          Disappointment
Objectively: it’s a good value for money. Well organized as you have the transport (pickup, drop-off round trip), dinner, show. Nice to see a show with horses, camels etc. My opinion: Tourist trap. Loads of bus in the parking unloading tourists in a « Disney » theme attraction park. Food served has no taste. Poor service, they don’t understand any word of what you say. Then the horse show comes unannounced and without historic information or storytelling. So you leave your table in a hurry to watch a 30mn show from a distance you can barely see what’s happening.

          Tourist trap to avoid.
A tourist trap to avoid. Terrible food. Dry overcooked (re-cooked?) chicken in couscous - it literally made us ill. No guide to anything cultural. Fantasia was a dimly lit, non-narrated horse riding show we could barely see. Most of it took place in front of us. The belly dancer was so far away on a platform in the center of the stadium we could barely see her, either. A waste of time to be honest.

          Wonderful experiences
We did a city tour on Horsedrawn Carriages and also a day trip to Quarzazate. Both activities were wonderful experiences. Our agent , Mahmoud was very accommodating and approachable. Our tour guides and driver were very friendly. Our van was very clean and comfortable. In a nutshell, we had a fantastic time and would use Traces Berberes again. I highly recommend them

          AWFUL
This is the worse experience I have ever had on any holiday. Bus loads of tourists arrive and are herded into a Disney style theme park of random arabian stereotypes. The food was disgusting. We got overcooked, underseasoned lamb as a first course with nothing on the side. Then we got unseasoned dry cous cous as a second course. I don't know what desert was supposed to be but I hope I never encounter it again. After dinner we were sent t out to a dark arena to fight for a spot to see the show. A VIP party had the best lit corner cordoned off and the entire performance took place right in front of them as though the rest of the audience didn't matter. I saw just enough to know I wasn't missing anything special. Don't do this to yourself

          TOURIST TRAP
TOURIST TRAP -AVOID at all cost. My wife and i booked the 300 MAD (Per person) tour >without< tourguide. Each way has a restroom break, at the "akhamwaya restaurant", which sells a 3.5 MAD fanta/coke can for 13 MAD each...(so 4x the price it should be) When we arrived there, we was presented to our guide, who had a hard time understanding why we did'nt want to do the tour with him, and just explore ourselves. He warned us that it would be dangerous to go around by ourselves, and that he thought we should do the tour. And that he did'nt know when the bus would leave. Walking the tour was fun and exciting (no danger at all, just tourists) After the tour we were taken to a "restaurant" with No menu card, and every dish is 100MAD. (AGAIN 4X the price it should be: look at the Picture; this meal is 20MAD in other restaurants, and considered streetfood). When presented with this, our guide started arguing about how much we paid for a meal in our homecountry, and that the oil Prices were crazy atm??? Anyway the tour ended and everybody had to pay him 30 mad. We were about to book another tour to ait ben haddou with Them, but cancelled our plans. The good: Nice driver who dropped us off at our designated location. And the waterfalls were beautiful when ignoring the massive amount of waste and plastic bottles in the water. Also there was WILD berber monkeys❤️❤️

Pure animal abuse. Horses are skin and bone covered in whip scars, stood in intense heat all day long with no shade, water or food and all the horses are laame and have uncomfortably long hooves. I witnesses a horse pulling a carrage collapse because of exhaustion and the guide pushed and tugged at the horse until it stood up although almost being on a death bed and whipped it until it continued the tour. Ridiculous. Please dont support this!
