    nice trip!
The trip is very well organized, you visit the 3 nice valleys in the morning and the desert in the afternoon. You also eat for lu ch in a beautiful terrace over the valley in a berber village. In my opinion maybe is better to go in the dester for sunshine because in this trip you only go there for 20 minutes of camel ride (fun). Our guide Redouane was very kind and prepared, he speaks a good english and is always there if you need. Enjoy!

    Marvelous Marrakech!
Marrakech is an amazing city in Morocco. Ives St Laurent's Majorelle Gardens is a must see in the center of the city. At night there is always a huge bazaar that opens in the middle of the city. There are many tourist shops as well as high end stores where the middle and upper class Moroccans shop. I toured with a group this year.

    Amazing experience in Desert
It was a great experience dinning in desert with free pick up shuttle service. Tour guide and driver are very friendly and thoughtful, they will text you the meeting point one day before. We were lucky the meeting point was 3 minutes walk from where we live. The dinner was 3 courses meal it was very tasty traditional Moroccan food, although desert was cold we underestimated the weather. but overall experience was great highly recommended

    Picturesque family night out
Stop off for tea, camel ride, dinner in the desert (quite picturesque) and traditional entertainment. Had two young babies with me - my wife and I enjoyed it very much. Special mention for Rabia who was friendly and helpful, especially with the children. Great value for money.

    Touristy but nice!
The dinner at the desert camp is very nice and definitely the highlight of the tour! The camel right is very short and not really worth it. Our guide was friendly, but didn‘t explain a lot. We‘d loved to hear more about Moroccan history and traditions.

I read other reviews and think did we go on another trip!

Yes the main guide seemed nice, but as we were at the back of the mini bus we only heard him when we stopped.

The camel ride was a strange affair, you pull off a busy road on to verge where someone has a tent and some camels. You are encouraged to put on some "local clothes" and then led on a 10 minute walk around the wasteland next to the road.
I was not sure what to make off it but in the end felt sorry for the camels who spent their day on a bit of wasteland by a busy road, though as someone pointed out they where not whipped and look in reasonable health.

Next stop was a traditional market selling lots of locally grown produce . Also it a place where the men of the tribes get together to settle disputes over tea and food (this seems a good idea to me).

The Argan oil stop, yet again pleasant enough people, lovely bread & dips (which didn't seem to be on sale), though very much feeling the people where shipped in to this roadside halt for the purpose of selling you stuff. Unlike other Argan oil places I been to there where no sign of any Argan Trees near by. I am not against been taken to places where the locals get chance to sell you their produce as long as you are aware that is the main reason you are been taken there for.

We stopped a couple more times, including to look at berber village in the distance. (I still have no more idea about Berber life than I did before I went on this trip ( this is where if the driver had a microphone we could have learn't more)) and once to look at the scenery, which is breathtaking.
At the Berber village you are led of up a track to the waterfalls (which are not the famous ones and pretty unimpressive) if you want to take a mule you have to pay extra.
The village guide hardly said a word and seemed a bit put out by the fact he had wait for my partner who found it a bit of struggle in the heat. You have about 10 minutes at the falls enough time for the locals to sell you some juice.
On returning to the village you have the "option" of the having lunch. I would it take not else to see or do (or there was we were not told about it). In our group each set of people had a Tajine to share. We had the chicken option (the other been Vegetarian) which consist of a 1/4 of chicken, with potato's and carrots, this accompanied by bread and water, followed by some fruits. I will say it was very tasty and I can afford 6 Euros each, but I did wonder what we would got if we had one each? I don't grudge paying 6 Euros each but hate having that feeling that I been ripped off just because I am tourist and that goes for any where in the world not just Morocco.
After which we returned to Marrakesh.
On reflection a nice day, enjoyable company, nice scenery, nice food but not as spectacular as made out by other reviewers.
A final note on returning to my hotel I got a text from our guide at he village asking me to write him a 5 star review, which I feel is a cheek. If I felt if he was worth a 5 star review I would have given him one. I am also not happy that my phone number was passed onto a stranger with out me be made aware .

I’d go as far as saying this was probably best tour ever, and I’ve been on quite a few. Let me just start by praising our first guide Adil El Faley who was just superb. Very laid back with excellent knowledge of the Berber people and the Atlas mountains. Nothing was too much trouble and he’d stop for numerous photo opportunities. Not once did we feel rushed or pressured He even played Berber music for us in his car. Mohammed our 2nd Berber guide who we hiked with was also excellent with his knowledge of the mountains & his people. A very kind man who helped my friend who struggled slightly on 2nd climb.
After about 30 mins drive from hotel we started with the camel ride in traditional Berber clothes. My pal had brought his own Jillaba which entertained the locals, they immediately called him Ali Baba which was great fun. The ride lasted about 30 mins followed by the first of many Morroccan/Mint Tea stops. After numerous sightseeing stops it was off to the Argan Cooperative for breakfast and to observe how Argan oil is made and participate in trying ourselves. Not once were we given the hard sell unlike the Souks & Medinas in Marrakesh.
Next if was a drive up to Imlil wre we met our second friendly guide Mohammed who took us for a hike to a waterfall were we had a chance to relax and take photos. We then had the option of a further hike of about 30 mins to another Berber village towards Toubkai (well worth it for the stunning views). The vista from here was just stunning. Mahammed then took us to his brothers authentic Berber style house of the beaten track were we joined them for some tea & snacks.
The last part of the trip was lunch for just 65 diram which was lovely soup followed by Tangines of vegetables & chicken served with bread. All ate from a stunning roof garden overlooking the village & stunning mountain range.
I have to add that not once were we encouraged to part with money which can get tedious in Marrakesh. We tipped our guide as he totally deserved it but not once were we pressured into it or even asked.
We were dropped back at our hotel ten hours after we left making this probably the best value trip you could ask for. This is the ultimate value for money. Don’t hesitate just book this up as you won’t regret it.

My friends and I (in a group of 4) booked this day trip out of Marrakech, and we were highly impressed! First and foremost, our tour guide and driver were AMAZING. They were kind, welcoming, knowledgeable, respectful, funny, and everything else that you want in a tour guide! We started our tour in the main plaza of Marrakech and initially drove out of the city to our first stop: a camel ride! The agency had traditional Berber dress for us to wear on our camel ride, and the ride paralleled a small canyon. We were honestly a bit disappointed by how short the camel ride was (20 minutes), but the whole experience was met by wonderful staff and sweet animals.

After the camel ride, we drove toward the Atlas mountains and made a few stops to see different Berber villages. We also stopped at a Female Collective where they showed us how Argan oil is made. The women there were SO welcoming and knowledgeable, and they even served us bread with oils and spreads with tea. They had a wide selection of different types of oil for us to try, and we each bought some to take home.

Continuing on our journey, we made a few more photo stops to take pictures of the highest point in Northern Africa. The mountain was beautifully snow-capped, and our guides kindly took photos both of and with us. We eventually reached a point on our drive where Mohamede offered to take us to his home village for traditional Berber tea. We excitedly went on this beautiful hike into the mountains where we met his mother and had tea on the terrace at his home. It felt so personal and we felt so at home to meet his family!

Coming down the mountain, we made a few stops to see two different waterfalls. The water coming down the mountain allowed for some gorgeous greenery and some more lovely pictures. Once we were finished with our hike, we drove to another small village to have lunch which was chicken or vegetarian tajine on another terrace overlooking the valley down the mountain. Another small criticism of the tour was that lunch was NOT included in the price of the tour, which we initially thought it was based on the description. We were asked to pay 65dh each, but after showing that the fine print of our ticked said 60dh each, the cafe accepted that.

On our way back into town, Mohamede and Hassane let us show them some of our favorite American music (which they got to hear a wide variety... Alt-J, Eminem, Arctic Monkeys, CAKE, some classic rock...) and even offered to take a small detour to pick up something we needed. Even with the slightly disappointing camel ride and extra charge for lunch, I'm giving this tour a 5/5 (I'd give it a 10/5 if I could) solely because of Moha and Hassane! I've never felt so comfortable and had so much fun on a day tour than I had with these two lovely Moroccan men. I highly recommend requesting them to be your tour guides on this tour!

Had a great day out today on the Atlas Mountains Three Valleys, waterfall and desert camel ride. We were able to confirm the pick up time in advance and the driver, Yousafe, picked us up in good time and was excellent at negotiating the mountain roads safely. Our guide, Mohamede Imjdoub, gave us the opportunity to stop at some very photogenic places for photographs. We had a mountain village breakfast at the argan oil co- operative and I only wish I had more space in my luggage for more bottles of the oil. Mohamede was very thoughtful and helped me on the hour trek to his mountain village when the path was a bit steep and tricky. This was much appreciated. The lunch he had organised was simple and tasty and very welcome after all the exercise; it was well worth the 65 dirham (6 euros). The camel ride was actually an amazing experience for those of our party who did it... at least half an hour through an arid desert landscape. (Non of this riding camels around a carpark rubbish!). Excellent value for money and a really enjoyable day; this particular excursion was the best we have ever been on in that respect. And all for under £35 for two people!

This tour was amazing! Lahcen Was a wondering tour guide- we literally went to his actual home in the mountains and had tea. The entire tour was wonderful and well planned. Communication with the company was great in regards a meeting spot since my riad was not accessible by car. All of the stops on the tour were great and Lahcen really gave a personalized touch to it by taking us to his home. We hiked for about an hour to a water fall and to a lunch spot on top of the mountain with spectacular views- the Tajjin wasn’t the best tajjin I have had in Morocco but was only 60 dirham and was worth the experience of eating on a mountaintop. Definitely recommend!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable trip to the high Atlas Mountains. Mohamed, our driver was friendly and professional.
And Mohamed Larbi, our tour guide was absolutely amazing. He made sure we were safe and supported while on the tour. He explained some interesting things about the area and the trees and foliage and really watched over our group closely to ensure that we were safe as we made our way up the mountain.
Lunch was absolutely delicious and the restaurant took great care of us.
I actually had to go back to the women’s cooperative and the driver took me back without any issue after our tour was finished.

We would highly recommend this tour and if you can request Mohamed Larbi as your tour guide we would highly recommend him.

Note: there is a pretty extensive hike around the mountain. Bring good hiking shoes and something to cover your head for the sun. Bring some change so you can enjoy fresh squeezed orange juice along the hike. It was the BEST orange juice I’ve ever had. You’ll also be approached by locals who live in the village with their wares, in case you want to support them, bring some money for them too. Bring a bottle of water for the hike and make sure to fill up half way up from the fountain of water that comes from the Atlas Mountains. It was so fresh and cold and amazing. Lunch is not included so bring some small currency for that (60 Dirham for us our trip).

If you do this tour in the middle of your trip to Morocco, you may have already purchased argan oil products from the market but it may be an idea to hold off until you visit the women’s cooperative while on this tour so you can hear their story and purchase directly with them. Ensure any bottles of liquids you purchase Is sealed tightly and ask if they can seal it with plastic wrap so you don’t have any issues with leakage on the flight back.

All in all this was an excellent tour and well worth the money.

This tour was advertised as a 'private' tour that allows for a lot of spontaneity. The description even sais that unlike them, other tour operators follow rigid and structured programs and their 'private' tour is different, but it is most definitely not. This is just another typical tourist trap and not a private tour. Falsely advertised and want a refund!

We gathered at the square for the pick-up and were placed in the bus with 2 other groups. So much for the private part, it became worse. The bus stopped at every typical touristic stop, together with 4 or 5 different vans. And ofcourse we we're guided into buying 'local' touristic products for top prices. It was so typical.

We drove off to the most touristic waterfall in the area and were supposed to have a 1,5 hour hike, it actually was 25 min. We would have preferred to have a longer hike, but this was not possible as it was NOT A PRIVATE TOUR. Everything was completely mapped out and didn't allow for spontaneity.

The local guide really tried his best, he is definitely not to blame. The tour organisation that falsely advertised is.

In addition, our driver's English was below mediocre and didn't have much to tell about the area. Even worse his driving skills were careless putting us in highly unsafe situations even for Maroccan drivers. Almost hitting a woman on a scooter and getting into other dangerous situations.

At the end of the day this tour company made us feel scammed, and arrive 1,5 hours late back in Marrakech, disrupting our evening plans.

Tour was falsely advertised, clearly a scam, want a refund!

Today I travelled up the Atlas Mountains with my girlfriend in a group of 5. All 5 of us were British which I think was deliberate from the Tour Company to encourage us to interact and make it smoother for everyone as only 1 language needed to be spoken by the guide.

We were picked up at the hotel by Mohammed who was punctual and very friendly. He took us to the mountains which took about an hour, but the van was air conditioned and Mohammed was pointing things out and giving us facts about different things.

We stopped off along the way for some Berber Tea in a scenic part of the mountains before carrying on to an Argan Oil specialist shop with different creams and oils etc. (You can haggle the price here)

We then went on and were dropped off to Mohamed Larbi who was our guide for the main hike, lunch and camel ride. Mohamed Larbi was extremely friendly, giving us all funny cultural nicknames and was very helpful, offering to help with carrying bags and frequently checking we were all okay with the hike and weren’t too tired. He took us on a good hike, visiting first a waterfall with freshly squeezed orange juice being sold for 10 MAD. We then went on a long-ish walk through the mountains to a village, where Mohamed Larbi invited us into his home, giving us Berber Tea and some locally produced nuts. He and his family were very hospitable and just seemed to wanted to help us have a great experience.

We then went to have lunch which was in a restaurant with fantastic views of different mountains including one very tall one with a snow-covered peak. The food was great, with a really enjoyable lentil soup as starter followed by roasted vegetables and chicken (bigger portion of roasted vegetables for me as a vegetarian) followed by fresh, locally grown fruit as dessert.

We then walked with Mohamed Larbi to meet Mohammed (the driver) who took us to the camels. The camels (actually Dromeda, basically camels with 1 hump instead of 2) were seemingly well looked after and a very enjoyable experience with some nice views.

Finally we got on the bus back and were safely dropped off back at our hotels.

Overall a fantastic day at a fantastic price, with an excellent and informative driver Mohammed, and a really likeable, funny and helpful tour-guide Mohamed Larbi, who both definitely made the trip a lot better.

We had a blast!. Even though the 3 groups never met before we never stopped talking with each other and we shared travel tips that we have already experienced in Marrakech.

This is a full day trip. It was easily broken up with camel rides, Argon oil Cooperative visit that included tea and bread snacks with a to die for “peanut butter dip” before the beginning of the hike. The hike was challenging but manageable, and our guide gave us many opportunities to rest while we climbed. Part way up we stopped again for tea and a chat. There were at least 3 bathroom breaks if we needed them. Our guide provided much history and personal experience and made sure we were alway enjoying ourselves.

The roads after the town of Atlas, get skinnier and zig zag’d up the mountains. Our driver did a great job dealing with on coming traffic and mo-peds (sometimes carrying 4 people), and dogs and goats. He grew up in Atlas and gave us some local history on our way to meet our tour guide.

The meal that we had near the end of the hiking tour was well worth the 65 Dirham’s a person.

I would 100% recommend this tour.

We visited the mountains yesterday as part of our visit to Marrakech. Our driver picked us up from the hotel on time and drove us towards the mountain stopping briefly for a Camel ride. On the road again for a short while before stopping to sample morrocan tea and various oils. We were encouraged to take photos of the scenery on our way with a few short stops. Finally onto the mountains where we were met by our guide Hassa. He was brilliant in explaining what the trip entailed and describing things in great detail. The walk up the mountain certainly pushed some boundaries with us as it wasn't easy under foot however its a trip we would both highly recommend and definitely one we would done again. The views are amazing and well worth the effort. Our trip in the mountains concluded with a lunch at a Berber House. This was a little unorganised probably due to a few groups all arriving together. This trip is well worth the money and something not to be missed
