      Fantastic experience
The tour was fantastic and really informative. Truly incredible scenery with great stops along the way with opportunities to experience life in a Berber village. The tour also include lunch at a traditional Berber house which was very tasty and the family were very friendly. The highlight of our tour was our guide Mohamed who was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. Would definitely recommend. Ali the walking guide was also really great!

Great company, music, laugher, history and delicious food - the day flew by
Ishmael picked me up very close to my lodgings, the central house in medina. Our adventure began then. Ishmael is very engaging, impeccable English, with an amazing knowledge and great taste in music. As we picked up others, Ishmael gave a snapshot and humorous tour of Marrakesh and its outskirts. Our first stop was breakfast, we also learned about the cooperative and its members activity in making Argan Oil remedies. Bagged my self some anti snoring oil (because I’m considerate of my roomies). Next was the hike with our guide Abdul. I say hike its more of an easy walk. Next was our lunch, my first Tagine, and it was delicious, cooked by a local Berber family, they put so much love into it you could smell the aroma from outside on rhetorical beautiful terrace overlong the mountains. An amazing experience with some very caring and professional staff, who know how to make you feel welcome and have a laugh with. Awesome value for money. I mean a ride in a luxury MPV, engaging staff, two meals and additions to my music catalogue, you really can’t go wrong. Book it you’ll love it! Thank you Ishmael, Abdul, and the boss man El Alaoui for by far the best experience in Marrakesh

      Our best day in Morocco
We were picked up bang on time by Ismail and our tour was a small group of 5. The transport was comfortable and Ismail has been a very personable and extremely knowledgeable guide (with a wicked sense of humour). His english is superb and the day ran smoothly. There were regular stops and the food was fabulous. The trek is a trek, rather than just a walk (about 2km) but us pensioners managed easily! We had a local guide for this who was happy to go at our pace. We were rewarded with a splendid Berber lunch. Thanks Ismail, we have learnt such a lot and seen amazing Moroccan landscapes !

Atlas Mountains- an amazing day out!
Had an amazing time today on our tour of the 5 valleys. Our tour guide Ismail was fantastic, he really made the trip! He was so knowledgeable and was so proud of Morocco and rightly so. Everyone we met on the trip, from the ladies in the co-op, who make fantastic products using Argan oil. To the Berber village people who were all so friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely breakfast with freshly made breads, honey, oils and tea. We then went for our hike with Abdelghani who was also very knowledgeable and helpful. We then stopped for dinner, which was made by Berber women. Delicious chicken Tagine! They were so hospitable and the views of the Atlas mountains were amazing! The scenery was breathtaking and so peaceful and calming. Our group consisted of 5 , all were so friendly and we had such a good laugh together! 😃 Felt very looked after and cared for the whole day. Such good value for money. We spent a whole day on this trip and saw so much!! Would definitely recommend!! Thanks again to Ismail and Abdelghani for looking after us all!

An amazing day trip, well worth it, friendly, fun and packed with knowledge
An amazing day from start to finish, Ismail our tour guide was brilliant, friendly, funny and his knowledge....wow!!!. A small group of 5, on an all English speaking tour was really good as the attention to detail was purely focused on us and giving us the best experience possible. Everyone we met, the Argan women, Berber villagers, the hike and the amazing breakfast and lunch, certainly made us all feel welcome. A great experience!!!

Amazing day out in the Atlas mountains
If there's anything I'd do again whilst in Marrakech it would be this! We had a brilliant day out from the hustle of Marrakech with Ismail showing us amazing views, meeting lovely local Amazigh people in peaceful and beautiful surroundings, eating their home cooked food and enjoying a wonderful walk and conversation with a local guide Abdul. Definitely recommend.

Cannot recommend this trip enough! Excellent.
This tour was excellent. It was perfect from start to finish. Our driver, Abdul, was a safe and experienced driver and the tour showed us the true Berber district in the mountains. It was much better than we could have expected with stunning scenery around every corner. It also allowed us to spend time with local people and guides to make it unforgettable.

Lovely day in the Atlas Mountains
Great day out with our driver Mohammed, from the excellent communication about pick up time and prompt arrival at our hotel in an air conditioned VW mini van, the trip was faultless. Mohammed was a fun and knowledgeable guide who gave us a great overview of the Atlas Mountains; the people, the geography and the history of the area. At the breakfast stop we had a tour of the Argan Oil cooperative before a traditional Moroccan breakfast, continuing on before a stop for coffee at a riverside café Particular highlight was lunch in the Berber village with the hospitality and generosity of the hosts outstanding. We enjoyed views from the roof top terrace of the surrounding mountains as we ate a beautiful traditional meal. Thank you Mohammed for a fabulous day out and thank you again to all for their generosity and hospitality.

An outstanding experience with wonderful people!
What an experience! Ismail, our primary driver and guide for the day, was a real treat from the moment of his friendly greeting at our pickup spot. He was engaging, entertaining, and very educational. The Atlas Mountains and the valleys we visited are majestic and gorgeous - unlike any that we have in the United States. We were served green mint tea, a pita bread and dip breakfast, coffee, and a multi-course lunch served by a Berber family - all homemade and fresh. We also took an interesting and for me, a challenging hike along some narrow trails for about 90 minutes. But, no regrets. Sadly, we saw much remaining damage of last year's earthquake. However, it was encouraging to see the amount of rebuilding in progress. Overall, we saw beautiful country along the way with so many photo opportunities. And, it was a welcome change from the heat and frantic pace of Marrakech. We highly recommend this excursion! It's of great value!

Great fun on this informative tour
This is a must-do on your Marrakech trip. We were picked up in a spacious van, on time, close to our Riad in the old town. Having collected the other four passengers we then headed off to the Atlas Mountains, stopping on the way for a delicious breakfast, made with all fresh ingredients and with bread that was cooked in front of us. We were entertained on the way by Ismail, who you really need on a pub quiz team. After a few stops for photo opportunities, we were escorted by a local Berber guide on a walk between villages in the mountains. If you are used to walking you will easily cope, but boots or trainers are essential as there is the occasional climb or decent over sandy and rocky paths. At the end of the walk we were rewarded with a sumptuous lunch, prepared by a local Berber family. Then back into the van, more photo opportunities and ‘name that tune’ music quiz on the way back. Fabulous.

We had a wonderful excursion from Marrakech to Essaouira! Our driver Ismail was prompt picking us up at the designated meeting spot and provided wonderful conversation throughout the ride to Essaouira. The van was spotless and spacious and his driving was excellent. We made 2 quick stops enroute and upon arrival in the port city, we were met by a local guide Aziz who brought us on a guided tour. We had a lovely time exploring the medina, harbor and beach with Aziz and found Essaouira to be a welcomed contrast from Marrakech. Both gentlemen were excellent hosts for the day and we could not recommend this day trip enough!

Perfect from start to finish. Abdul spoke great English, was immensely friendly and went out of his way for us on multiple occasions, arrived at our hotel on time (with water, and a Toyota Land Cruiser (not often found in Morocco)), answered every question with energy-care, and delivered us to our guide in Essaouira (Azziz) without fault.

Azziz (a friend of Abdul (who is a partner in the company that runs the tours)) is as kind and welcoming as they come. He knew everyone in the city, and they welcomed him and us. He showed us all the sites, places you might only know from living there your whole life, and took us to great stores, with the intention of showing us local art, not driving a purchase.

The quality of this tour was fantastic and you would be remiss to skip it, and Essaouira. Abdul and Azziz are the type of people you want around you in general and as guides. Proper fixtures of the Moroccan experience. 10/10 quality and experience.

Ps. My girlfriend says bring a jacket even in the summer if your not thique skinned like me.

This was an exceptional private tour! Our driver, Ismail, came promptly at the agreed time to pick us up from our hotel, then drove us to Essaouira in an A/C car; bottled water is available for the entire duration of the tour. He provided informative comments about the places along the way and the country's history and present times; not too much, not too little, just enough for us to understand and remember. Our tour guide, Aziz, waited promptly for us when we arrived in Essaouira and walked at a relaxed pace through this beautiful maritime city. Aziz is a native of the town and loves it deeply; this is evident in the way he talks about Essaouira, its history, and its people; he was one of the best guides we have had. The route was thoughtfully planned to offer a comprehensive picture of the past and present, and we immediately went in at each of the attractions the moment we arrived there. Also, he showed us the best places to take pictures and took pictures of us when asked. Enough time is allowed at each site; nothing is rushed. Also, the route is customizable in terms of the time spent at each attraction and what attractions you wish to include/exclude. We are very interested in local crafts. He took us to some exquisite traditional thuya and pottery workshops where we were offered detailed explanations about the craft and demonstrations of how things are done. The tour included a stop for the traditional Moroccan mint tea (with fresh mint from the local market) in a local place and a delicious Moroccan lunch (you can choose differently if you wish) at a restaurant with a great view of the Atlantic Ocean. At the end of our tour, Ismail waited for us to drive us back to Marrakech. Both Aziz and Ismail went beyond the call of duty to ensure that we had a memorable experience of the beautiful seaside town of Essaouira. Highly recommended tour!!!

From Ismail's greeting at the riad, until we said goodbye at the end of the day, the tour was spectacular. This company makes sure you feel comfortable in a cozy Mercedes with bottled water for your journey in paradise. Ismail is a very easy going, kind, and very knowledgeable guide, and it was such a pleasure learning about the cities and countryside from him. Once in Essaoira, we met Aziz, a passionate man that takes great pride in showing us his gorgeous city. He walked us around all of the places where no guides take tourists, and it was glorious seeing some of the oldest parts of the city. Because Essaouira is his home. He allows us time to take it slow and really feel at peace taking in the pace and energy of this beautiful city. Thank you to both Ismail and Arizona for such a perfect day, one that I will recall fondly for the rest of my life.

We are so happy that we decided to go to Essaouira! The tour was well organised and the walk trough the city with Aziz was just magical. Aziz is a local guide who knows everybody in the town and each sentence he says shows how much he loves the city. He told and showed not only the touristic side but small, unknown corners that usually tourists do not see. Aziz was such a nice companion to our children and we will keep him in our hearts.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Essaouria on 20 September. Our local guide for the walking tour was seriously impressive in imparting her knowledge. It is a beautiful city with a great history. Well worth the journey from Marrakech. Thanks also to our guide and driver.

What an amazing way to spend a day - definitely worth the cost. We got a private tour both on the way to and from Essaouira as well as when we were in Essaouira. The guides were vaccinated and extremely friendly. Abdul and Aziz were fantastic!
