- JMB1980AD0 contributions6 day Atlas Mountains Trek.Fantastic trip. 6 day Atlas circular Trek including summiting Toubkal with a team of 4. Alternatively staying in hostels & camping. Food and support from the Guide, Cook & Mule Drivers was fantastic throughout. Friendly & polite team. The Mules were well cared for and not overloaded, which was important to us also. Highly recommended.Written September 30, 2024
- henkvL2614EE0 contributionsHans & HenkWe had a great trip. Everything was well organised. Our guide Hassan (1) and cook Hassan (2) together with the Mule Jacky lead us thoughtfully and with great attention to the top of the Toubkal. Everything was perfectly organized by Toubkal Trekking from the beginning to the end. Thanks for the excellent serviceWritten July 23, 2024

Will definitely be back and can’t thank Mohamed and Moustapha enough for organising the trip and for getting me up there. Simply the best people to get you to the highest point in North Africa!Written June 17, 2024
- O5516NNjoanc0 contributionsGreat experienceEverything went so smooth, from the pickup at the hotel to the actual trek, the guide, etc. Everybody was very helpful and willing to make our trip one to remember. Kudos to all the team ! If you have time make a detour to see the rests of the airplane, if only for the history behind ;-)Written June 6, 2024
- christianlS7595WD0 contributions16 to the Summit of ToubkalAn amazing and brutal experience at the same time. The views were out of this world and we experienced all weathers over the course of 2 days - sun, cloud, rain and snow but thankfully summit day was clear so we could enjoy the feeling of being on top of the world! The Toubkal Trekking guides were superb - Nordine and Brahim were patient, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We took a long time to complete the trek but that’s to be expected from a group of 16 with varying levels of fitness and different levels of acclimatisation to the altitude. Our guides were surprised no one turned back! The food was excellent and plentiful thanks to our dedicated chef and our duffel bags and mattresses were safely transported (although a bit wet after the rain on the way to base camp) by the mules and mule driver team. Thanks to the Toubkal Tekking team for a wonderful experience!Written May 16, 2024
- gkibble890 contributionsToubkal Trekking up Mount ToubkalAn incredible experience, organised by Toubkal Trekking. You have to do this! It is hard, no hiding from that, but it is doable - especially with the expert support of Toubkal Trekking. We had 2 guides, a number of chefs plus mules. We stayed in Dar Imlil the night before (which was absolutely perfect - pool, good local food, lovely staff, fantastic rooms and v reasonably priced). The refuge at base camp is better than we expected - comfy beds. Bring ear plugs as you won't get much sleep due to all the 'comings and goings'. This is a brilliant trip with a real sense of achievement for everyone that completes it. Outstanding views and definately 'one for the bucket list'! I would 100% recommend Toubkal Trekking. - Saha900 contributionsWinter trek to Mt Toubkal15 (age 43- 55 years old) of us decided to go and climb Mt Toubkal. I contacted Mustapha (I found him through a Google search ) around six weeks before the trip. From the UK, we reached Marrakesh on 23rd February. He arranged everything, from pick up from the airport to drop off at the airport, all accommodation and meals at a reasonable price. We stayed the first night in Imlil, where we started the hike. After finishing the hike, he booked us in a nice hotel in Marrakesh ( hotel Del Rosa), where they served a lovely buffet, although we were very late, nearly midnight when we reached the hotel. Mustapha is a lovely, cheerful chap who is happy to accommodate all your reasonable requests. The hike itself was a lot more gruelling than we expected. We did decide to go for a winter trek despite advice that the winter hike is challenging. We wanted to do a winter hike, which was worth the pain. I would recommend Mustapha’s company.Written February 28, 2024
- wera3420 contributionsAmazing trip!We took one day trip from Marrakech to Imlil. Huge thanks to our guide Mohammed Sarkozy who took care of us perfectly. He showed us all the best spots and shared a lot of interesting information about mountains on the way. We felt very safe, we could easily see that he is a very experienced guide. Also a warm and funny person. We recommend the trip and especially the guide if you want to run away from noisy Marrakech!Written June 25, 2023
- eagle540 contributionsFabulous! Their 5* reviews are 100% deserved!Initial contact was with Mustapha who responded quickly, I was a little concerned about our pick up in Marrakech but Mustapha gave me his WhatsApp number and everything went smoothly. We can not thank Ibrahim (our guide) and Hassen (our chef/mule 'driver') enough for doing such a great job. The food was great and there was plenty of it. Ibrahim was patient and knowledgeable, and celebrated with us at the summit even though he has done it 80+ times before. The hike is a challenge. We were there in June so very little snow/ice remained....only had to walk over about 10metres of it so no need for crampons. The weather was perfect and the views were stunning. The base camp was a lot better than I was expecting. Shared dormitories, but the possibility of a hot shower! Big thanks to Toubkal Trekking for doing such a great job, I would not hesitate to recommend them.Written June 16, 2023
- Timhth0 contributionsFantastic hike up Mount ToubkalBig thanks to Mustapha and his team of guides, cook and mules. They looked after us very well, despite some illness which was bad luck. Team of 9 from UK 6 who summited 😃Written May 19, 2023
- ernestoh6680 contributionsA1 Experience, great companyI was planning to come to Morocco with my family to visit an old family's friend living in Tangier. To add some spice to the trip we decided to start our vacations climbing Jebel Toubkal. Research through Internet brings me to Toubkal Trekking. I contacted Mustapha and carefully reviewed our options and planned for this trip. It was a long chain of emails that he responded to my entire satisfaction that allows us to have a 5 starts vacation in a wonderful landscape. Since we live at sea level, we added two days walking through Berbers villages surrounding Imlil, before our two days climb to Toubkal. It was the right decision for us, since the 4 achieved the summit without suffering any altitude's sickness symptoms (we saw several people in the refuge with mild to more severe symptoms). Our climbing group was formed by the guide Rdoune, the cook Ibrahim and his brother Lajhsim, two mules with no names, and the 4 members of my family (ages 18 to 54). The food was amazing all the time. The cook, the brother and the mules walk ahead of us to be ready when we arrive either to the lunch break or for passing the night. Accommodation was humble but clean and cozy. It is not a luxury vacation but a discovery one; genuine. Rdoune, the guide, is a dedicated professional that knows well the mountain and love his job. He was very supportive of our needs, understood our pace, adapted to our group, patiently taught me some Berber’s words, and took care of one of us after a minor accident in our way down. Regarding the trekking, I would say the two acclimatation days were very pleasant mountain walks (5 to 6 hours each day), while the 2 Toubkal climbing days were medium to hard. The hardness mainly for the distance walked, especially the last day. If you are in good shape, you will enjoy this trip. The landscapes and views will pay the effort. For a mountaineering this is a must to go place. I highly recommend Toubkal Trekking for those looking to climb the mountain. I will start saving again for a next trip to Morocco, thinking in visit the desert now.Written May 18, 2023

- Ciara C0 contributionsChallenging and memorable experience, facilitated by the great people at Toubkal trekkingOur group of 5 had a fantastic time on the 3 day Toubkal trek with Toubkal trekking. Mustapha was very quick at responding to our questions and emails before we landed in Morocco, although we would have appreciated if some more information was provided when we booked instead of having to ask ad-hoc questions every few weeks. Nordeen was a fantastic guide - informative, patient, kind and made sure that we had a brilliant and memorable experience. The summit day itself was slightly harder than we expected and we were very glad to have crampons - definitely make sure you are fitted for these before you leave Imlil. The food was delicious and much better than we expected, and we never went hungry as there was plenty to go around. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would certainly return to this company for future adventures!Written May 8, 2023
- 350mackenzie0 contributionsAmazing experienceWe loved our trip to Mount Toubkal! It was very well organized and our guide was helpful and informative. We did the two day trek, which was perfect for our group. The food was amazing. One of our group members was vegetarian, and they were able to accommodate without any issues.Written April 16, 2023
