Buyer Beware! I generally don't write bad reviews unless they are well deserved. Samira is a disorganized mess. She did not even recall our tour or how many days or the simple logistics of our tour. She then overcharged us by not providing the single supplement that we paid generously for. I gave her ample opportunities to make good, but she decided to ignore us completely. This is a shame as her staff were very nice and Mohamed was a wonderful tour guide.

I had the best day with Mohamed and Yunus. Upon pick-up I was surprised to learn that I was the only patron, I was very pleasantly surprised as I’ve had several tours cancelled in the past due to low attendance (including one in Marrakech from a different operator). The whole way was carefully curated and I felt taken care of at all times. The bikes were very good quality, well maintained and adjusted to my height. The route was good, very scenic and beautiful. Lunch was fantastic, at a little place you’d never likely stumble upon. Overall worth the fee and would do it again. Mohamed is an expert on the mountains so I’m sure he’d be able to find a new you’re for us to explore.

Brilliant way to see the highlights of Marrakech and taste some authentic food. Mohammed was a super guide - very friendly and knowledgable and kept us safe on the busy streets! Highly recommended.

We took a tour with guide Sinoe; the perfect guide. We were picked up in the Medina and drove to near the Atlas. There the crew assmbled the bikes which were all perfect for the conditions. Our guide took us on an amazing trip, during which he on occasion stopped to explain about nature or culture, which was very interesting. The ride was most of the time easy, but some climbs were pretty steep and this made it challenging sometimes, which we liked. We had a lunch in a village and then the Group split up and the fit part of the group continued to our desert camp. This was a bit off the beaten track, and took some navigation effort to get us on the right track, which made it more fun. Thanks for the great trip! Only advice for other travellers; bear in mind that if temperature is more than 40 celsius; it can be hot!

That Trip was super with Mohamed and Sheid they took really good care of us and we felt always very safe! Mohamed was cycling with us and Sheid was with the car! We cycled to really nice places little village etc the view is fantastic and with the two of them the trip was even more fun because they are both very nice and fun guys!! It will be a unforgettable day thanks to Mohamed and Sheid! Thank you very much for the great tour and all the information we just had great fun with you!!

Bike tour was lots of fun. I'm sure we were just confused because we had read about so many different activities, but we did expect this tour to be more food tasting than biking. We did have a main dish at one restaurant, and a smoothie at another place, and both were really yummy. We biked through the medina, and the tour guide pointed out some great things for us to go explore later. He also took some fun pictures of us. The starting and ending point for the tour was outside of the medina, which meant that we had a significant length of ride at the beginning and end of the tour. Bikes are not allowed to ride on the sidewalks, so we drove on the side of the road, and sometimes competed with the cars for space on the road. The guides were awesome at keeping us safe, and helped us negotiate the busy round-a-bouts safely. We had a couple of teenaged boys in our group who were not super experienced with driving and sharing the road, but the guides were very patient and kind. They made sure we all had bikes that fit us, and they were able to tweak a couple of adjustments along the way as well. The guides were so nice even though we were about 20 min late for our appointment. I would definitely recommend for anyone who wants a different perspective of the city, and for people who enjoy biking.

We did the Ourigene Valley tour and could not recommend it highly enough. The guides were fantastic and we had a very memorable day which exceeded all expectations. Not only did we get a good bike ride in amazingly beautiful scenery we also learnt a lot about the Moroccan way of life and culture. We were very much off the beaten track - tracks which are mainly used by donkeys as transport from one village to the next. We stopped for lunch at a beautiful spot next to a river, surrounded my locals and camels/horses and the food was delicious. We would definitely hope to go back and do another similar ride. We could not rate the experience highly enough and are so glad that we took a day out to do this. Thank you to our two great guides.

We had a fantastic mountain bike ride in the Atlas Mountains. AXS met us at our lodge in Ouirgane with all the gear and we set out for the afternoon over beautiful landscape with amazing views. We visited several Berber villages and had a wonderful tea in one of the traditional homes. The guides were a lot of fun and very knowledgeable.

Had an excellent day cycling down the Atlas Mountains. Easy communication and arrangement, great quality bikes and a wonderful meal included. Highly recommend taking a ride with AXS and I’ll be back soon for more adventures

3 days of mountain biking in Atlas Mtns, Nov 2022. Samira organized the whole thing to meet my needs, very responsive. Mohammad and Youness were excellent guides and fun to ride with, finding routes and trails that were just the right amount of fun. They clearly know the area well and can adjust as needed to meet specific needs and expectations. Accommodation was excellent - quiet, comfortable, clean, very nice for the non-riding part of the day. Food was also excellent - post ride lunches at local restaurants, and the breakfast/dinners at the hotel, as well as the fresh fruit and other snacks while riding. Bike was good - carbon frame Giant Trance - certainly adequate for the terrain we rode. Overall, highly recommended and I would happily ride with Argan, Mohammad and Youness again.

The best way to get out into the Atlas Mountains. Picked us up at the door of our Riad on foot, spotless car, decent bikes, great guidance from Youness and a lovely simple lunch at the end of it. Highly recommend - you’ll be tired and dusty at the end but you’ll enjoy it

Fun mountain bike ride through La Palmerie with Younes. Interesting stop to see local women baking bread in an open oven. And he sent us great pictures afterwards.

I specifically asked for an XL framed road bike for my tour which Argan agreed that they had weeks ago. I am very tall and anything smaller than an XL wouldn’t be suitable. I confirmed with them the day before my tour that everything was still fine and they definitely had an XL bike in stock. Lucky I checked as they came back to say they only had L sized road bikes as their biggest in stock. I specially shortened my stay in Casablanca so I could go cycling the day before my friends arrive in Marrakech and now it seems like a waste of time doing this. Very disappointed with this.

My guide Simu and driver Sayid were fantastic. Very helpful and gracious. Simu took me on a great downhill tour that was custom fit for my type of riding. Great full suspension mountain bikes and gorgeous scenery made the day a great adventure if you’re looking for a high speed, off-road ride, contact Argan Xtreme Sports

Spent 4 nights in Atlas mountains, 4 days of cycling with our guide Ismail. Also accompanied by Mohammed in the van. Ismail was a fantastic guide, took us to some really beautiful places. He was upbeat and friendly all the time. He has also mastered how to take great photos while cycling! He was flexible with stopping off whenever. Mohammed was also a pleasure to have along the way. The bikes were of high quality - we had no problems. The food we had for lunch was very good, especially down the road from Asni. The Ksar Sharma hotel, Argan put us up, was fine - the views were excellent and the room spacious. The staff there were helpful though the service was a bit slow. There was no hot water for 24 hours on one, day, partly due to a power cut. The food at Ksar Sharma was not as good as the lunches we had but it was ok - we had 1 bad meal out of 4. They could also do with some new table tennis bats! You pay for your alcohol at the hotel. We ordered water with meals which we were nearly charged for at the end but this was sorted after a phone call with the tour organiser. Overall, the cost of the trip was quite expensive which is a caveat, so expectations were quite high, but I'm happy to say it was a great trip and experience! :-)
