From start to finish, this tour did not disappoint. One was exposed to some of the most stunning scenery within an hour or so of Marrakech including the Atlas Mountains, Berber villages and Agafay desert.
We were picked up from a central location on time and there was good communication throughout. Clearly the tour operator had put a lot of thought and planning into the route which offered many scenic points to stop at.
I will never forget eating a Tagine lunch surrounded by the magnificent Atlas Mountains or the camel ride at the end of the tour.
The tour was made so much more enjoyable because of our guide, Youssef Ben Cherif. He was a knowledgeable, polite and humble man who kept us updated and was always ready take photos for us.
I think Youssef really cares that everyone on a tour has a positive experience and in my view, he is a credit to the Moroccan tourist industry.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the tour which was excellent value for money and would recommend it to others.

Youssef-Boura provided the absolute best experience from the moment I booked our tour his communication was clear. He offered multiple solutions in order to accommodate my 84 year old father in law to deliver a premium experience for my family of 7 ranging in ages from 3-84. I cannot overstate how this tour checked our bucket list items well beyond expectations.
Travelling into the Atlas Mountains was beautiful with a lot of context and history of the region provided by Youssef.
The hike was rugged and incomparable. Seeing the Berber mountain villages was a very unique cultural experience. The walk was a bit challenging for my mother but she was very glad to have done it. My 3 year old loved Youssef who even carried him for portions which was truly above and beyond.
The camel ride was the perfect amount of time with the backdrop of the gorgeous rocky desert.
We returned to our hotel in complete awe of the day. Incredibly grateful to Youssef for a day we will absolutely never forget.

Me and 3 fiends booked the day trip experience, we had an amazing time. Lahcen was a legendary host making us all laugh while telling us lots about the local scenery and Berber culture. From the camel ride to a beautiful hike up the foot hills of the Atlas Mountains and seeing amazing waterfalls, we finished off the day eating tagine looking out on to a beautiful backdrop.
Amazing experience! Would recommend

For 25 euros (don't pay more) it was a worthwhile day trip just to experience a different part of Morocco other than the cities. Other than that not too exciting really.. The pickups were disorganised (other than me the other 5 pickups were all delayed or misdirected by the tour company). I was on the bus for 70 minutes before it left Marrakech. There was little of interest imparted by the tour leader (Rachid) throughout the journey. The three valleys were never explained by the tour leader nor was the Agafay Desert (never saw it). Very little points of interest commented on. You can take or leave the camel ride around a dusty trail in the middle of a no man's land.
Lunch in Imlin was traditional, good value @ 65DH and is taken on a deck overlooking the valley and up to the mountains. The walk through the Imlin hillside to the waterfall was the best part of the tour. Dirss, the local Berber guide was excellent and I learned a lot from him about the Atlas villages and the magnificent Berber history and lifestyle.

The trip was great. The young guide Youssef had a perfect knowledge of the English language, so everybody was able to understand his explanation. We stopped by two villages, where he was willing to take us pictures. Then we kept our voyage with a small excursion, where he made us decide if keep walking or turning back because of the tiredness. We also stopped by at the house of a woman, who prepared us the best the I’ve ever drunk. We also saw the Ouzoud waterfall and rode the camels. The experience was great and both the driven and the guide Youssef were really kind, I highly recommend it!

An absolute winner of a day trip. If you’re looking to head to the Atlas Mountains I’d highly recommend these guys. We were picked up just outside our Riad at 8.45am in an air conditioned minivan along with the rest of the tour group. We headed into the atlas, saw ladies making argon oil in a co-operative, hiked for a couple of hours up a valley to a waterfall, had a hearty lunch and finished with a rather excellent camel ride. We were dropped back at 6.30. A full day.
Our host Mohamed was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and kept the energy levels of the group high.
Best value tour I’ve been in anywhere. Superb.

This was a great educative trip, knowing more about the berber culture and life in the Atlas. Special thanks to Issmail and mohamad our driver who made this trip memorable. Issmail showed us his little village in the Atlas where he originates from and had one of our best lunches in Morocco there (amazing food). We were taken to a women’s cooperative where argan oil is manufactured, rode camels, small hike to a waterfall etc… It was a good day long trip for this price. We enjoyed it and had lots of fun!

It trips were written in dreams this will be the best dream come true kinda of trip. Communication from booking to being dropped off after an exceptional day. Tour guide Ali and his Driver Yusuf were amazing, knowledgeable and accommodating to the tour part. Everything mentioned in what to expect is what u get and even better. If you are to hike the mountain a bit of exercise will Gud before you travel but don’t worry they are friendly boys with horses operating as Uber or taxi to help if you are tired to ride up the mountain to the waterfall for 50dm or 5USD ( take the ride & save you energy). Great food for lunch at a local family house ( please bring cash for payment 13usd for 2 not bad). Would right a book on the trip review but in simple terms I highly recommend it, feel free to experience Ali and his driver’s charm. Camels superb 10/10 Mountains Waterfall 8/10 Food 8/10 Drive 10/10 safe

Wow!!! What an amazing adventure packed into one day!!!
Youssef-boura was an amazing host!!
He made the day amazing. We didn't feel rushed. He explained what was happening and how long it would take.
He also became a "friend" to my 3 year old grandson! And helped him along the hike! Even carried him at some points.
The Camel ride experience was EPIC!! Just the right amount of time on a camel!!
I will remember this GREAT DAY for years to come and encourage anyone travelling to Marrakech to do this tour with Youssef-Boura!!!
The driver was also great!! We felt safe going up the mountain.

We wanted to get out of the craziness of Marrakech and decided to book this day trip for two reasons. Firstly, it had everything that we wanted to see in a day and secondly it was a very good price, 400 MAD. Our expectation levels were relatively low but we couldn't fault our guide, Lahcen and driver Sel3 who gave us a day to remember. From a short stop to meet some local Ladies making Argan oil, a beautiful hike up to the waterfall and various photo stops throughout the day, our small group of nine were very well looked after. Lunch was a little chaotic but at 65 MAD the Chicken Tajine was both tasty and value for money. We finished the day with a 30 minute camel ride in the Agafay Desert and tea which unbelievably was included in the tour price. There was absolutely no pressure to tip, just a request to write a review which we were happy to do. The whole day was exceptional value for money and was a great way to spend my Birthday. Highly recommend that you take this tour and thank you to both Lahcen and Sel3 for a fantastic day.

It is moderately challenging if you are not used to hike in the mountains or if you are not really fit or in a good shape.
If you are used to it and you are very fit it is just a mild hike.
However, I did it with low back issues and tendinitis ( hamstring syndrome) with the help of the guide.
I did not even had proper shoes.
I was wearing boots.
However I recommend proper shoes.
Please note that I have encountered some difficulties, some are down to my left leg not having enough strength and some to the fear of falling caused by some uneven path, muddy and slippy rocks.
Take into account that I usually walk 5 kms a day in the woods, despite my condition, and before my injury I was moderately fit.
Pregnant woman, disabled people, unfit people, children may want to avoid the hike, especially if the path is muddy and slippy.
Anyway paying attention to where you put your feet is essential but I would not rate this hike as too challenging.
Do we need to bring any special clothing from this trip? For example warmer clothing?

Hi, we are a family of four (2 adults, 2 kids age 2 and 4), is this trip will be good for us? I read in the description that there is a hiking from one spot to another, how difficult the hike is? Is it flat walk or climbing up on the mountain.

The hike is up a mountain. I did see other children doing the same hike but I would be cautious with children so young. Depends on how used you guys are to hiking etc. Potentially look at another day trip where you can travel to the mountains another route which doesn't include climbs. I would say the hike is manageable and not too strenuous but then again i'm an adult. I hope you still get to experience the mountains though!

The camels looked to be in good health, they are kept at the side of the road but the trail you take is away from the main road, I didn't see water for the camels however they ships of the desert and can go days without.
