Atlas Mountains Hot Air Balloon Ride from Marrakech with Berber Breakfast and Desert Camel Experience
From $229.37
If you’re keen to do a hot air balloon ride over the Atlas Mountains while in Marrakech, it seems like a waste not to add the extra touches that will make it a super-memorable experience. With this tour, you get numerous perks, including snacks and coffee as you watch your balloon inflating, plus a post-flight camel ride and Berber-style breakfast that lets you relax and talk about your experience before returning to your hotel.
What to Expect
Begin early with a 4x4 pickup at your Marrakech hotel, and journey to the balloon launch location.

On arrival, refuel with tea, coffee, and pastries, and watch your expert team prepare and inflate your balloon. Then, settle into the sturdy basket for takeoff. Each basket carries up to eight passengers, and there’s ample space to relish the sights as you fly.

Gaze at the desert and admire the sunrise over the craggy valleys and mountains as you float over the Atlas foothills. Touch down and visit a tent to enjoy a Berber-style breakfast of delicacies such as flatbreads, pancakes, fresh fruit, and mint tea.

Receive a souvenir flight certificate, and then take a camel ride around the Palmeraie, the palm oasis skirting Marrakech. Your experience then finishes with a drop-off at your hotel.

Better than the competition, though I feel like it's still overpriced

Just thought I'd write that we took off before the other company and landed well after the other company. This tour also includes camel riding. I had a good time. It's pretty expensive though!

Compared to similar experiences in other countries Marrakech by Air is hugely overpriced with very basic breakfast. I was back in the hotel at 11am and paid 200 euros, was at least expecting a day trip. Driver and staff are friendly but I still wouldn’t...More

Off color jokes aside

Basically, this amounts to a predawn pickup at your hotel, a comfortable ride to a compound where you have coffee or tea, board a balloon, land, get driven back to the compound, eat in a tent, ride to a place to ride camels, and go...More

Sunrise surprise engagement - five stars!

I organised a private flight and informed the team of my intention to propose. With secrecy promised, what followed was absolutely amazing and so memorable. From the moment we were collected at our riad in a private vehicle we were treated like cherised friends. We...More

The noise of the gas heaters on the balloon may scare them.We had a bad landing which required holding on to the sides of the basket which would be hard if you were holding on to the child.I would not bring my 2 year old.
