An absolutely fabulous tour. My wife was initially sceptical as I booked this without telling her! She was quickly won over by the beautiful scenery and wonderful people we met. Our guide, Marwan was amazing and ensured all of us had an unforgettable experience. The trip was shared with 5 other people that we hadn’t met before and it was a pleasure sharing the trip with them. We had a very comfortable journey in a minivan with many scenic stops on the way. It is worth ensuring that you take warm layers (if travelling in winter months) as it is quite cool at altitude. As general guide for you, some of us were in shorts and hoodies, whilst my wife was in several layers, bobble hat and gloves and still needed a blanket when we stopped for lunch! The trip included a short hike and also a short walk to the Berber house for lunch. These were gentle walks and trainers were suitable. The lunch itself was beautiful. We sat outside and were able to see the stunning scenery as we ate. The food was second to none and we had bread and salad to start, chicken tagine and couscous (there was a vegetarian option but none of us had this), with fruit and Berber biscuits for dessert. The family were so welcoming and the experience was fantastic. One of the stops on the way to lunch included the Argan oil coop. This was very interesting and my wife happily purchased a few of their products at very reasonable prices. Look out for a particularly interesting product for men…none of our group made the purchase so I can’t state if it worked…if you do the trip, you’ll know exactly what product I’m referring too! The team organising the trip kept me up to date throughout the process and Marwan (our guide) was excellent - his knowledge, patience and humour were all perfect for our trip.

Don’t miss this experience if you visit Marrakech. It’ very important to get to know more about the Berbers and to see how they live. Our guide Marouan shared a lot of information. Everything went well and the nature is amazing!

Four of us took this tour. Our guide, Marwan, was just wonderful! So warm, friendly, informative and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our Berber breakfast. Womens’ co-operative was a lovely experience and we purchased their amazing argan oil. We had ample time to stop at viewpoints, walk for a while and take photos of the amazing surroundings. We had a fantastic day out with Abdul, exploring the Atlas Mountains and 5 valleys. Abdul is the most patient, knowledgeable and informative guide you could possibly with for, and our experience was 5 stars. There were just 4 of us in a minivan and Abdul encouraged us to take as long at each stop as we wanted. Sadly we couldn’t trek to the waterfall as the route was closed due to the recent earthquake, but all other parts of the tour went ahead. Highly recommended

Brilliant trip from start to finish. Our guide Abdul was very friendly & knowledgeable, went out his way to make sure we were looked after & happy with the itinerary. Fantastic views of the mountains and a lovely meal at the Berber house. Devastating to see the poor people who have lost their homes due to the recent earthquake but glad we went as these villages rely on tourism so much. Highly recommend this trip for anyone visiting Morocco

A fantastic tour. Abdul's knowledge and passion for Morocco is exceptional. We all learnt so much about the country. Lunch with the Berber family was another wonderful highlight. Would definitely recommend!
