About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- NorahL230 contributionsGreat tour in FesWe have a happy half day with Coca in Fes! She is friendly and knowledgeable. She can answer all questions which are about Fes and Morocco. The price is also very reasonable. Coca is the best choice for all of you if you are planning to visit Fes!Written November 11, 2019
- Joeta190 contributionsExcellent walking tours and day tripsWe had a half day walking tour at a very reasonable price with a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide, she was able to tell to tell us a great deal about the area and pointed out things I wasn't aware of, having lived in the medina for 9 months. Our tour guide was able to make the whole party feel comfortable around the streets and seemed to take us both to the must-see tourist spots and some nice areas which showed how Fessy people lived. The day trip to Ifrane was great value and experience, we visited an small berbers cave house, where we were prepared tea for free. The driver was friendly and safe and although his English was not great, he was perfectly understandable.Written May 10, 2019
- samarth m0 contributionsAwesome fes medina tourWe did an amazing tour of the Fes Medina with Coca. She is very knowledgeable about the Medina, very frank, and has a great sense of humour. It was a friendly experience and I would highly recommend Coca for your Fes activities. As part of the tour she will also take you to a few craft shops where you will have the opportunity to buy souvenirs and watch the craftsmen in action. The tour ended at Coca's family place where they weave agave silk into scarves and other accessories. Here you will find a very friendly cat and mint tea to end a perfect tour.Written May 27, 2018
- dinggot0 contributionscoca!!!as most things in morocco go, we found coca by accident: on our way to the medina from the tannery, we darted into an argan oil cooperative shop, & when we where done, we were led to the home of coca where her brother’s weaving shop is also housed. there we bought scarves in preparation for our trip into the sahara. apart from the intended scarves & the unintended kaftans & an accidental felt fez, we left coca’s home with a booking for a day trip to volubilis, moulay idris & meknes—more for lack of a better thing to do in fes and not wanting to waste a day in fes. what a trip it turned out to be: coca & her brother came to the rendezvous to personally see us off. we had a comfortable car & an excellent driver drizz, who, with his 100 grams of english, 400 grams of spanish, 500 grams of french, & fantastic sense of humour & boundless energy, gave us the most wonderful tour: what he lacked in language skills, he made up for with extra stops where he picked fruits, nuts, vegetables & such for us to taste, flowers & leaves we for us to smell. we stopped for photos which he first checked, then suggested better vantage points & angles. we laughed and sang with him during the entire tour. coca checked on us regularly to ascertain the tour was going well. she again checked on us at the end of the tour. her english is impeccable, her business ethic, perfect. if i were to visit morocco again, i would go through none other than coca & cocastravel morocco.Written April 4, 2018
- vivianeholst0 contributions2 Days desert trip Fes- Merzouga- FesFirst of all, I have to admit that our whole trip to Morocco wasn’t exactly planed through and I am really glad we met Coca, who made it an unforgettable experience. After arriving in Fes and exploring the Medina we had asked around about a trip to the dessert and somehow ended up in her brother's weavery. It’s a beautiful place and totally worth a visit. Even though we had only a short time in Fes and it was all very spontaneous Coca managed to organise a wonderful 2 days tour with one night in the desert for us. We drove by a private taxi the whole way from Fes to Merzouga, which was a long but absolutely stunning trip. The diversity of the landscape is breath-taking, we met a bunch of lovely monkeys in the Atlas mountains and were able to stop at most of every place to take pictures. Our driver was super friendly, communication was a bit adventurous sometimes though. We arrived at Merzouga in the evening, stored our luggage in a nice hotel and started our way into the desert. The time in the Sahara was like diving into another world: riding the camels during sunset, a nice fireplace and music in the berber camp, an incredible starlit sky and a stunning sunrise in the morning. Just this few hours were absolutely worth it! Coca always made sure we were fine during the trip. She and her whole family are lovely and absolutely welcoming people that made our time in Morocco peerless!Written March 23, 2018
- findubar0 contributionsAmazing dessert tripWe met Coca through her brother. We had asked around about a trip to the dessert and finally ended up in her brother's weavery (which is worth a visit by itself!). They both were really friendly from the beginning, inviting us dusty strangers into their home and explaining the possibilities for the trip. We are normally not the people for guided tours, so wanted to think about it and came back the next day. In the end we went to the sahara for just one night and two days. It is an incredible experience. See the landscape changing along the way, meet a bunch of lovely monkeys in the Atlas mountains, riding the camels into the dessert during sunset, traditional food, a fire and music in the berber camp, one of the most amazing starlit skys i have ever seen and sunrise in the morning. Though everything was really spontanious it was really well planned. A woman, a word. What we agreed upon was all there. We had a private taxi and our own cozy tent in the camp. Our driver was really friendly and stoped at all our requests even if communication was a funny adventure sometimes. Coca always made sure we were fine during the trip. She, her brother and his family are lovely and welcoming people that took very good care of us! Can only recommend contacting her! We also heard she is supposed to be a excellent city guide ;)Written March 23, 2018
- lread490 contributionsLook no further!Coca came highly recommended by a couple who toured Fez with her a few days prior. We hadn’t even planned to hire a guide - usually preferring to go it alone - but how happy we are to have taken the recommendation! We hired Coca for a 2.5 hr tour of Fez Medina and ended up staying with her for the entire day. She was such a pleasure to spend time with, and a wealth of information. After visiting all of the important sites and amazing artisans, she invited us back to her family home for tea and then dinner. Not only did this mean Henna tattoo for good luck... tagine cooking course and weaving demonstration/instruction, my 13 year old son and I felt genuinely welcome as guests to the family. Thank you Coca! You are amazing!Written March 10, 2018
- Mirko F0 contributionsIncredible day!!!Amazing how casually you find the best guide in Fès! Coca is a certified moroccan guide that is been doing this job since she was very young and since than she is been working with all the passion and the engergy that she has! We started in the morning at 10:30 and she came to pick up us in the ryad and from then on starts our tale.... With this amazing girl we visited so many places and so many sicret spots that other turists can’t even imagine. She gave us all her day, showing real cooperatives of artisans that nowadays handcraft all the products that are the base on the economy of this country. Leather, silk, tajin, terracotta, bread, argan oil, natural cosmetics and beauty creams, iron, silver, jewelry, and so many others that I cannot even remember. We had a car so we have been able even to discover all the view point outside the city that shows you how big and intricate is Fès Medina. After a lovely lunch together she took us in her house for a cup of tea and a great evening with her family. We had such a good time and if you want to know how much this cost to us I can tell you “very cheap” and absolutely convenient. She is also very open minded and we could question her not only about the city itself but even regarding traditions, religion, politics and lifestyle of Fès normal people. She can communicate with you in arabic, berber, spanish, english, deuch, and a bit of italian. If you are in Morocco I strongly recomend you to contact this lovely lady for a private tour or just and advice about this great country.Written March 7, 2018
- CatherineMacByronBay0 contributionsCoca's tour of the MedinaHaving Coca take us around the Medina was the best thing we could have done. She is knowledgable and friendly and takes the stress out of finding your way around when you first get there. She showed us all around and educated us on the history of the Fes Medina and pointed out lots of interesting things we would have otherwise missed. It was well worth the time we spent with Coca.Written February 6, 2018
- Béatrice D0 contributions5 StarsI heard about Coca through a friend who met her in her brother's shop so when me and my friends decided to go to Morocco, I contacted her to ask if she was available to show us around Fes. Not only she help us discover the Medina but she also help us organise our whole trip and adventure in the desert. The desert part of our trip was extraordinary. She arrange for us the ride from Fes to Merzouga, our stay in a beautiful hotel, the camel ride and the night in the tent. Coca is amazing! Friendly, funny, caring... she made sure we had a great time the whole time, even when we were in the desert. She brought us home to drink tea with her family and showed us all the best spots in Fes. It would not have been as fun, safe and easy without her. I absolutely recommend you to contact her if you are thinking of going to Morocco !Written January 11, 2018
- Patricia L0 contributionsLifetime experience in MoroccoWe were 3 girls travelling in Morocco and visiting Fes with Coca made it the best experience ever. At first we were a bit stressed and scared but Coca really made us feel comfortable in the medina so we could really appreciate the beauty of it. Coca offert us many activities so you could really discover the typical local culture of Morocco. From going to a hamam, drinking tea with Coca's family and exploring thoroughly the medina, Coca made our experience incredible. Coca is really easygoing and funny which made our stay even more enjoyable. The medina tour was really interesting as Coca know so many people, provide us with history about Fes and always bring us to amazing local restaurant. Coca also planned our trip in the Sahara desert and it was absolutely amazing! We had a driver to go to Merzouga and a warm welcome once we arrived at the hotel. The next day was absolutely incredible as we booked a 4X4 expedition, then rode camels and stay one night in the desert. We saw to sunset and the sunrise and it was breathtaking. Our stay was perfect and Coca had really think everything through so we didn't have to worry. I highly recommend Coca, without her our stay in Morocco would have been totally different and certainly less amazing.Written January 8, 2018
- Cheryl C0 contributionsBest experience of local culture and sahara desertWe met Coca from her brother who organizes a really nice hand-made scarf and clothing shop in Fez. It turns out to be an amazing experience. Firstly, she showed us around Fez and found good local shops (it is really nice to have a local guide if you are new to Morocco). It was touching when her family cooked us nice local breakfast!!! and then we went into the sahara desert which an experience me and my friends will never forget. She checks in with us during our journey to ensure that we are having a good time as well. overall this agency is very affordable option for tours in morocco organized by people who care about tourists and want them to understand morocco's culture more. highly recommend.( december morocco is a bit cold so be sure to wear more )Written December 19, 2017
- Aimee L0 contributionsAmazing experience - one to rememberMy partner and I were travelling to Fes and had no idea where to go or what to do. We found this company and chose them because of their amazing reviews. Coca was able to arrange a very last-minute tour for us and met us at our convenience to make payment. It was a private tour with our own driver who explained everything as we went along and told us lots of interesting facts. Unfortunately due to a miscommunication on our part we commenced the wrong route for the wrong tour initially. Even though we did not realise this until around 1 hour into the tour, Coca rectified the situation immediately and we were still able to enjoy our full Middle Atlas tour despite the time lost. Our driver did not mind about this at all and was very happy to accommodate us. The tour itself was amazing with breathtaking views and great photo opportunities. It was educational and interesting. The highlight really was the horseback ride through the forrest and feeding the monkeys! Overall Coca and her driver could not have done enough for us and made it a real day to remember. Definitely the highlight of our stay in Morocco.Written December 15, 2017
- Maria-Stina R0 contributionsAmazing experience for first-timer in MoroccoWe were traveling with 5 girls to Morocco without planning everything through, so I could say I was a bit scared at first. Luckily we run into Coca's travel agency and got the most exclusive experience of our lives. Coca was so helpful and welcoming, inviting us to her home for breakfast with her family and showing us around the Fez. We could have not explored the city the way we did alone. We wanted to book a tour with very short notice and Coca was ready to be flexible and help us out. We didn't have to worry about anything on our tour; the transportation, acommondation, food was organized. Drivers were really nice and the Sahara experience was spectacular. We got to experience the Sahara with real barbarians, we rode the camels and stayed the night at a camp.Riding the camels felt very comfortable with experienced people, we got to see the sunset and the sunrise when riding them. At the camp there was moroccan dinner and a gathering at the bonfire with music. At night we saw the stars at the Sahara and I must say it was the best experience of my life. During our whole trip Coca was always checking on us and taking care of us. I will always remember her and the experience and I'm forever grateful. Will definately come back to Morocco!Written December 13, 2017
- banderangtapos0 contributionsExperience of a lifetimeMy Moroccan escapade was an eye opener and a humbling one. We got involved with this trip when our friend arranged our trip recommended by her girl cousin who travelled alone to Morocco. Our friend who arranged this trip could not make it and I was skeptical in pursuing the tour with just me and my wife. Coca assured us to just go even without our friend and she would take care of us 100%. Coca gave us a personalized tour of Medina (old city) in Fez also called the handicraft capital of Morocco. We were up close and personal with the experience like being turned back in time co-mingling with ancient places, people, mosques and traditions thousands of years back. We visited the best leather tannery of the industry and seen how argan oil was made and natural beauty skin products. We've seen how brass products were all done by hand and ceramic tile product were so meticulously adorned by the artistic design by the potters. We were treated to a special invitation with Coca's family over lunch, a Moroccan hospitality at it's best. Trying to eat by hand similar to Filipinos was a breeze. Our tour of Coca's family cottage industry was the culmination of the day and the carpets, scarves, table cloth were so beautifully designed. We travelled the next day to Merzouga which took about 7 hours drive to the Sahara desert for 1 and a half hour camel ride to spend overnite in the desert tents. This experience was so breathtaking to see the sand turn orange at sunset. We were entertained by the drumbeat of Berber culture after dinner and it was a partying all night with most of the tourists dancing. Woke up 4 am to be ready for the 5am camel ride back to the hotel to catch the glimpse of daybreak. I wanna go back to Morocco just for this. You can do the dune buggy ride for "desert rats"! Drove to Tinghir at the foot of the High Atlas mountain and the place is serenely fascinating with rock climbers showing their prowess to conquer the challenge. Spent the night at this cozy place Auberge le Jardin de la Source. I also highly recommend this place. Travelled to Ourika waterfalls trekking to climb the High waterfalls in the High Atlas mountain and had lunch at their cozy table set-up next to the flowing water brooks. Was driven to Marrakech airport by our personal driver Mubarrak a.k.a. "Mugad"! These Moroccans are a breed apart. Peace loving folks mindful of their Christian brothers and an avid believer and admonishes the Golden Rule. Our Berber camel guide are hard working honest people and always greet the tourist and thanking them sincerely for visiting Morocco. Tourists are safe because Police checkpoints are visible everywhere. Our driver Mubarrak is a "piece of art". Funny, gullible, and has this sense of humor that will shorten the longest drive. Finally, Coca is so professional and educated in her dealings with people and tourists. She undertakes this very sincere and personal character to bring only the best to bring about a tour experience catered to your liking giving suggestions to benefit her clients. I believe her motto is "Clients come first". She makes it a point to call our driver regularly or by text when signal is impossible, to check our status and that our itinerary are always in order. My heartfelt thank you Coca for this very well planned vacation of a lifetime!Written December 12, 2017
