About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Go115970907430 contributionsTook to Ancient Meknes When it was closed, spent 4 hours waiting to be picked upWhe went on a full day trip the ancient city of Meknes with stops at some Roman ruins and a hillside village. We had 4 hours at Meknes But the ancient city was closed because it was a Friday. This was the equivalent of going on a trip to London zoo I’m being told to sit outside for four hours because the zoo is closed. We spent 1 1/2 hours having lunch and then 2 1/2 hours sat on a bench waiting to be picked up. The tour guilds were fully aware the The ancient walled city was closed.Written September 8, 2024
- biswajitr2930 contributionsWell spent day at ChefchaouenSeeing the blue city of Morocco was a dream. The small alleys with shops selling local products was a sight to behold along with the various shades of blue houses. Our bus driver Hussaini was a wonderful guy and was meticulous in driving the 3.5 hours trip each way. I would highly rate his services, both as a driver and a guide.Written September 1, 2024
- 845aaronf0 contributionsThere and back again: a Chefchaouen storyFor the price you are getting a very nice vehicle and driver (we had Abdul who was very nice and spoke good English). If you are expecting more than a pick up, drop off and return transfer then this may not be the tour for you as there were no personalised guiding experience for instance but this wasn’t what we were looking for anyway and for the price it delivers on the promise of getting you there and back in comfort and with plenty of time for self exploration.Written August 24, 2024
- tywenk0 contributionsGreat transportationAbdul was a good driver. He was prompt and got us between the cities efficiently. He spoke good English. The car was comfortable, however one nit is that I wish the air conditioning in the cabin was stronger. As a solo traveler this was a great experience to be able to share a ride others (however, I could not find a way to purchase only one ticket through TripAdvisor, I had to buy two.)Written August 22, 2024
- Tom C0 contributionsTarik’s a star!Really good experience. Tarik our driver was a star - great English, super informative about Moroccan culture and very safe. The drive itself is long but the rural views were a nice change from the Medina. Superb value :)Written July 30, 2024
- PauloF3440 contributionsGreat drivers, great cityThe round trip from Fez to Chefchaouen went exactly to plan. The tour departed from Fez at around 8am and lasted around 3.5 hours, with three stops, including a 20-minute stop at a service area. We had approximately 4.5 hours free to explore the medina of Chefchaouen, which was more than enough time to wander the streets and have lunch. We returned at 5pm, arriving back in Fez at around 9pm. Our driver, Badr, was exceptional. His driving was impeccable, always careful on the road and attentive to speed. What's more, he was very friendly and helpful, responding promptly to any request from the group. The price was very fair, considering the distance covered (around 400 km round trip). Thank you, Badr! You're amazing.Written July 9, 2024
- Erik H0 contributionsBest trip!We had the best experience with Otmane. We did 2 days and one night in the Sahara. We 100% recommended doing this trip private with Otmane, he was super kind, helpful and patient with us. He was on time to pick us up and got us to the desert as quick as he could while still making stops to have us eat and see sights. Everything was amazing, and you are looking to book we recommend Otmane !Written July 5, 2024
- K7603CPtimw0 contributionsBLUEAn awesome day trip! It's a four hour drive from Fes to Chefchaouen and four hours back with stops when needed, but worth it for spending time in one of the most beautiful cities I've visited. We were given four hours to independently explore the city, which had a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Despite some hills and the warm sun, the city's Medina (old town) was easy to walk around and looks amazing!Written June 14, 2024
- noahcT1669UJ0 contributionsOutgoing guides and exciting placesHad an awesome time doing 3 of the tours with this group. I booked with Zouhir and he was awesome. They pick you up from your hotel in the morning and bring you to a restaurant with complimentary drinks while you wait. They match your language with the driver’s. Big shout out to Otman and Simoné who were some super fun guides I had.Written June 9, 2024

- paintandwineflorence0 contributionsImad best guide! We did the desert tour with Imad. Let me tell you he is the best tour guide you might have. He showed us all the best places and kept everything under perfect control, the time, organisation and everything runned smoothly. He was never in rush, gave us all the time to go to the toilet or take pictures, took his time to take each one of us back to our hotel and not a random meeting point. He is very polite and discreet and made our tour better than it could be.Written May 20, 2024

A very bad experience for us. We booked this trip with them since they have really good reviews. I understand that sometimes people exaggerate a bit while trying to get customers, but overall I think they oversell too much and gave too much false promises.
Since it was just one day before the trip when we book, we were careful to ask all the necessary information to make sure it'll work.
The person told us the booking time is not too late and they have availability, and that we'll be traveling with at most 5 ppl in a car and the driver speaks English.
When we started the trip in the morning, they told us since we booked kinda last minute they won't able to find any driver who speaks English, so we got a driver who we could only have bear minimum communication with. Also he's not going to drive us all the way. All this was not communicated to us before the trip, which made us felt deceived. During the trip, it felt very confusing as well, the manager, hotel manager and the driver sometimes told us different information and we don't know what we'll do next.
On the second day when we are supposed to watch sunrise in the desert and ride camel back. The desert camp manager said that we'll have breakfast at 7 o'clock and then ride camel back. When it's about 7:30 the manager told us that a car is waiting for us outside the desert to go on with our trip, which left us less than half an hour to do a trip that usually takes one hour. We complained and said that it's not what we were promised. Then he said we could take our time. But halfway of enjoying our camel ride back, a guy just came with a car and insisted that we should go with him by car because another car is waiting for us.
When we came to the place, it's not a car but a bus that's waiting for picking us up. We paid for the price of traveling in a comfortable car but then we had to squeeze in bus for a day. The hotel (not the desert camp) then arrange during the trip is not very good either.
We complained again and the last day then sent a car with a driver we couldn't communicate with again.
So all in all, the management of this trip is horrible. I'm not giving one star because the people are actually kind along the way, even though we couldn't communicate with them and the Sahara trip is magical itself. But for the same price, there are much better travel agencies one could go with. Suggest to avoid this one.

Tourist trap. I purchased a tour from Fes to Marrakech of 3 days and 2 nights, with a visit to Merzouga, Ouarzazate and various intermediate stops. Aside from the desert, which is very beautiful, the stops were only the Todra gorges and Aït Benhaddou, where we only spent 1 hour in each place. Many of the stops advertised in the tour program can only be seen from the window, passing by, or not at all because they are simply skipped (you can only see Ouarzazate on the map; they tell you that you sleep there the second night, but you sleep in a nearby town) . Three days of tour for one night in the desert and 2 hours of sightseeing is disgraceful. Be careful: €150 per person is the base price at which these tours are sold (including breakfasts, 2 overnight stays and 2 dinners; you will be forced to have lunches in places with excessively expensive menus for tourists). Some of our group were ripped off, having bought the exact same tour for €220 per person, but we were all traveling together in the same car, doing the same things. In any case, it is not really worth relying on these agencies. The drivers/guides are passed off as professionals but are listless and never speak, don't explain anything and don't give directions. Our driver spoke neither English nor French, only Arabic, and on several occasions he gave us wrong or incomplete directions. The driver often stops in front of shops to get you to buy the usual tourist junk. The tour is 90% car travel; it will be a 20 hour drive in three days, which makes it tremendously tiring. Better to do it yourself and visit these places on your own, desert aside.
Mr. Salah Eddine, who we met in the small agency at the entrance to the medina of Fez, seems very friendly when it comes to collecting the money, but he turns out to be the scoundrel that he is once you leave. Stay away from these scoundrels.

Not really happy with our experience. They messed up our reservation and we ended up spending over an hour on the phone with them coordinating. Despite being told we’d be booked a “luxury” Riad the Riad they booked was dirty, smelled and was 2 star hotel. After a few hours of coordinating they did switch us but we wish we weren’t spending every evening correcting their mistakes. Lastly the car did not have working air conditioning so we were made to sweat in a car driving 7 hours each day.
We booked a private tour with this agency and spent good money. We expected better.

Terrible experience and absolutely not recommended. They make you pay a fortune for what ultimately turns out to be a transfer service from Fes to Marrakech. An uncomfortable and exhausting journey, with car journeys lasting 6/7 hours a day and the time left to visit the places was practically negligible, just fleeting stops. Obviously strategic stops in isolated locations for lunch (not included) where you have no choice other than the fixed menu at prices pumped up for the occasion. The supposed guide was nothing more than a driver who took you from point A to point B, without the slightest explanation of the places and without knowing how to communicate in English. The only part that could be saved was the first evening in Merzouga with a camel ride in the desert and dinner and overnight stay in tents that had very little of the Berber feel to them. Price beyond all logic, if I had done the journey by taxi I probably would have spent less and would have enjoyed the stops more. SCAM for tourists!

The trip to the desert from Fes to Marrakech was a wonderful esperience and very well organized! If you are searching for a local guide for a trip to the desert as well, we higly reccomend this company. They organize the same trip also from Marrakech! Ask for Otmane, our amazing driver that Made the 3-days trip extremely Pleasant. He is fun, super available and he was able to answer all our questions on all the places we visited.

Cheers everyone,
After experiencing the sahara desert Tour we can look back on of course the nights in the saharan desert and at the gouges but also a total of at least 10 other interesting stops along the way.
From second one our driver Karim was our best guy along all the way and made this the 5star-recommendation it is. As he said "you're on vacation, enjoy and relax". Ask him anything, he'll give you insight in many topics and knows the best spots for beautiful pictures. So, highly recommend him!
Be prepared for an unexpected variety of astounding landscapes and meet some wonderful people along the way.

Fantastic 3 day trip through small villages, into the Sahara desert, via absolutely stunning mountains, from Fes to Marrakech. A great trip made even better thanks to Imad, our favourite guide and driver in Morocco. Imad went above and beyond to look after all of us in our group, was kind, fun, intelligent and accommodating to everyones needs. Can not recommend Imad and this trip enough. 10 out 10!

The tour was great and the tent hotel was awesome. The dinner we had in the dessert was the best food among what we got in Morroco. The most important is that our guide Mohsin is excellent! He is very kind, honest, polite and considerate. We feel like at home with him. He recommends us only the best places to visit with very good price. He also gives us very good explanations about the cultures in Morroco. He drives well and solves problems for us always with patience and full effort. We enjoy his company a lot and would love to come back to Morroco for him again! :)
