BEWARE OF THIS TOUR GUIDE - M. Azzedine Berrada ( The owner of this agency ) If I had to describe this guide in two words, it would be "Scammer" and "Thief" We hired Mr. Berrada to show the way to our clients and to our guide through the old medina of Fes, which is notorious for its complex streets (over 9,000!), giving him an already established itinerary, all he had to do was to show the way to the monuments, the streets, that's it. Our agreed-upon itinerary was disregarded as he decided to take matters into his own hands, believing he knew better. Not only he didn't respect the program, but also mistreated our guide, insulting and verbally harassing her, violating her dignity. The reasoning behind his actions ? He deemed her a "bad guide" for not leading clients to the shops where he could collect commissions. In the only shop where our clients made a purchase, he went behind our back and took the commission all for himself that was meant for our guide to take. Let’s not forget — his mission was just to show the way, not to take our clients to shops for personal gain. Tourists who have previously chosen him have complained about how little of the city he actually shows and how he barely speaks about the history of Fes. His primary goal seems to be taking tourists to shops where he stands to gain the highest commission, rather than offering a meaningful, informative experience. Choose your guide wisely, don't fall victim to this scammer who may present a friendly facade but undermines the true essence of your visit.
