Accommodation Our stay at the Pueblo Touareg Camp in the Erg Chebbi desert was the highlight. The tent was far beyond our expectations, blending traditional charm with modern comforts. Dinner by a talented Berber chef, followed by songs, dances, and storytelling under the stars, made it unforgettable. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and I’d return in a heartbeat. Our second night at Das Blues Hotel was another excellent choice, with delicious food, cozy rooms, and great service. The Journey Azdine curated an exciting itinerary packed with stunning deserts, mountains, ancient cities, and hidden gems known mostly to locals. He even made a detour to a fossil workshop when I mentioned my interest, a thoughtful touch that made the trip extra special. Travel The car was very comfortable, and Azdine’s driving made us feel safe and relaxed. He shared fascinating insights along the way and adjusted the plan to suit our interests, making the experience truly personal. Overall If you’re visiting Morocco, I highly recommend Morocco Classic Tours and Azdine. His professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly nature made the trip unforgettable. The great conversations along the way added a personal and enjoyable touch.Written November 21, 2024
- Y9676VVmels0 contributionsUnforgettable Experience with Morocco Classic Tours and Azzedine! My dad and I (Canada) recently went on a private 5-day tour of Morocco with Morocco Classic Tours, led by the wonderful guide, Azzedine. I’ll admit, I was a bit nervous at first about booking a tour with a company from across the world, but once I spoke with Azzedine on the phone and then met him in person, I knew we were in great hands. From start to finish, Azzedine was very kind, fun, and professional. He was always reachable anytime we were not with him via WhatsApp. He was also very flexible in tailoring the tour to meet our specific needs—starting from Casablanca and ending in Marrakech so we could catch a plane to Portugal (which Azzedine helped get us to the airport even after the tour ended, something he did out of complete kindness!). Each place we stayed was lovely, and the riads, especially in Chefchaouen, were stunning. Azzedine always was ready to recommend us good places to eat or sights to see in our free time. Azzedine clearly puts time and thought into ensuring each stop is meaningful and memorable. He was very knowledgeable about Moroccan history, which added so much depth to our experience. He even connected us with an incredible guide in Fes, Omar, who we also had a great time with. Fes was probably my favourite stop of the tour due to the rich culture and deep history. This trip was everything we’d hoped for, and we already miss Morocco! We’d recommend Azzedine and Morocco Classic Tours to anyone planning to explore this beautiful country.Written November 2, 2024
- G5610DZjeffp0 contributionsHoneymoonMy wife and I spent a part of our 2 week honeymoon in Morocco and I could not have been more satisfied. We spent the week with Azzedine and he was truly amazing. He helped us plan this trip from start to finish and ensured everything we wanted to cover on the trip was done. Driving in Morocco is something I would not recommend, especially coming from Canada or the US - so having Azzedine drive us to each of our destinations was great. He made us feel safe throughout the trip, was charismatic and fun to talk to on our drives. If you don’t go with Azzedine on your trip, you’re not doing it right. Destinations: We visited Marrakesh, the Sahara desert, Fes, and chefchaouen. All destinations were amazing and each had their unique story to offer. However, I enjoyed the desert the most and I would definitely recommend spending AT LEAST two nights here (we stayed one due to time). The Sahara desert was amazing, we went atving, camel riding and stayed in a tent in the desert over night. Again, Azzedine helped us plan this whole experience and I can’t wait to come back and explore other parts of Morocco, with Azzedine as our tour guide. Food: Why visit another country without trying their cuisine? Food in Morocco was amazing and Azzedine was able to show us the local spots that were not only cost efficient but some of the best food we had while our trip. If you are on the fence about visiting Morocco, please jump over and make the trip. It has exceeded every expectation I had and with a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide - you can’t go wrong.Written October 17, 2024
- michellerR8299HB0 contributionsHoneymoon tripMorocco was the first country we visited as part of our 2 week honeymoon and it truly exceeded both mine and my husband's expectations. Our amazing experience here is a result of Azzedine our tour guide/driver, who planned our trip from start to finish within the 7 days we were here. I was passed along his contact from friends who had travelled to Morocco in 2023 and had nothing but good things to say about their experience, so without hesitation I messaged Azzedine to inquire about planning our trip. I gave him our time frame, budget, and major cities we wanted to see. Within a few days he prepared a custom itinerary for us, making the planning process seamless and stress free. This was a huge relief for us since we were putting a lot of planning ourselves into the second half of our trip in Spain. As I already had some knowledge with the expected costs for the trip, I found our quote to be very reasonable. We spent a total of 6 nights in Morocco starting in Marrakech (2 nights), Boumalne Dades (1 night), Sahara dessert (1 night), Fes (1 night) and ending off in Chefchaouen (1 night) before taking the ferry up to Spain the following day. Although we wish we had an extra day in some places as the trip did involve a lot of travel, we were drawn by the uniqueness of each location we visited. To provide a little more detail on each location we visited: Marrakesh - a city of pure culture. Unfortunately it rained both evenings we were here which did limit our ability to roam the square at night, but we were lucky enough to have good weather during the daytime. Our first evening on arrival was spent unwinding and relaxing in the hotel. The hotel was called La Maison Arabe and it was easily one of our favorite stays. The staff here was so friendly, and even prepared our room with rose petals and decor to make our stay even more special. Overall great location, very luxurious, and amazing breakfast. The second day was spent exploring the city. We did some light shopping in the square and markets, visited the Palace (filled with many tourists but beautiful place to see), visited the YSL museum in which you need to book tickets for in advance online (Azzedine made this suggestion for us closer to the trip which was something of interest to us), and drove around several other spots while we learned about the culture and history behind what we were seeing. Our highlights here were our romantic dinner at La Trattoria and the hot air balloon ride we did the morning we left Marrakesh, which actually got rescheduled from the first morning due to poor weather conditions. The guide we had during the balloon experience was amazing. He made us feel extremely safe, and kept us in the air for a long time unlike other balloons which we saw land earlier with the same take off time. The ride was followed by a traditional Moroccan breakfast outside. Tip here: dress warmly as it is quite cold in the morning (6am start time) and in the air. Boumalne Dades - a beautiful mountain stay experience. Azzedine took us to various spots this day on route to our hotel where we were able to stop and take pictures. He even added one to the itinerary when I had a place I really wanted to visit - all I did was show him a picture and he knew exactly where to go. Our hotel was the Xaluca which was right at the top of the mountains with a stunning balcony view. This day did involve quite a bit of travel stops, but my husband and I liked that we were able to unwind and relax at our hotel upon arrival early evening. This hotel offered a pool, hot tub (although it wasn’t that hot so we didn’t sit in too long), bar area with a pool table, and tennis court. We also had dinner and breakfast included in the hotel and the stuff here was extremely welcoming. Sahara desert - A sandy Oasis, and easily our favourite part of the trip. Visiting the desert and staying overnight was truly an experience of a lifetime. Upon arrival to the desert we started off with the quad rides. My husband and I both had seperate vehicles we got to ride and followed a guide into the dessert who showed us a great time. We felt like we were out there for a while, taking various routes and being able to stop for pics and sand boarding. Once we came back, we were escorted into the Sahara again but this time to our luxury camp site by Moha and his team. The hospitality this placed showed us was AMAZING. We got lucky enough to be the only couple that booked that day (they have a total of only 6 tents) having the entire place to ourselves. We started off being welcomed with a refreshing mint juice, followed by a camel ride into sunset (it was cloudy so we didn’t get to see a proper sunset but still a fun experience), then came back to the tent to freshen up and have dinner. Dinner was a 5 course meal prepared by Chef/manager Moha which we thoroughly enjoyed. After this we proceeded to the campfire where they did a drum party for us and even welcomed us to join them in singing and dancing. We ended off the night sitting on a swing and watching the stars before heading to bed. One thing that really stood out for me here was how the staff took care of us. I was already dealing with a little bit of a cold prior to our stay, but the following morning in the camp felt much worse likely due to all the weather change we were experiencing. FYI it’s supposed to be nice in October but Azzaedine mentioned the weather we were experiencing was unusual and the city hadn’t seen as much rain as it did these last few days in years! Anyways, at breakfast when the staff found out I was sick, immediately brought me medicine and Moha made me a special herb tea which did help open up my sinuses and make me feel better throughout the rest of the day. Fes - a unique city with beautiful tile work Riads. Getting here was by far our longest travel day (almost 7 hours or so) but as with all our other days, Azzedine always made the drive enjoyable with various spots, fun conversations and great music. What stood out here was actually the drive to Fes, which was one of the most scenic routes I’ve ever seen. Our hotel here looked really nice, open concept with large ceilings and unique tile work which we learned is made and imported in Fes to other regions. They staff here also decorated the room for us (being our honeymoon), however we felt like it didn’t offer as much compared to the other places we had stayed at so I would say it was our least favourite hotel. Azzedine took us to a local spot for dinner which we really enjoyed. Chefchaouen - the beautiful city of blue. This I was personally my favourite stay of the trip, as this charming little city had so much to show for. We stayed at a luxurious hotel here overlooking the blue city and mountains, with only a short walk into the main town. We arrived here from Fes by early afternoon giving us the rest of the day to explore. Azzedine offered us many tips and recommendations such as trying the fresh orange juice, and being wary of certain decorated streets/alleyways that would request money for pictures. We were able to come back to our hotel early to enjoy sunset with a glass of wine before dinner. The staff here was also very accommodating with our requests. Overall we had an amazing trip and experience thanks to Azzedine. I’m not sure how my husband and I would manage coming into a country like this without any guidance and understanding the distinct cultural cues here which made having a tour guide all the more important to us. Throughout the journey he made us feel very safe and we connected so well which was displayed by our continuous jokes and banter during the car rides. We kept saying we wish we had more time to spend in this beautiful country, but are hopeful we will be back in the future. Thank you again Azzedine for making our trip and honeymoon a truly memorable one!Written October 17, 2024
- 842zurainia0 contributions12 days Morocco Classic ToursAzzedine, from Morocco Classic Tours is the maestro for our tour. We could not fault the tour planned for us. The Riad’s and luxury tent in the Sahara, he organised were amazing. When we arrived in Morocco, our driver Mehdi messaged us to let us know he's waiting for us at arrival hall. Which was a comfort to know. Mehdi was our driver guide. He would share his knowledge about the city we passed by or going to. We never felt rushed. He would stop by spots with scenic view for us to take photos. We really enjoyed Mehdi's company and I must say I was in tears to say good bye to Mehdi when our tour ended. During the trip, I found out, there is hot air balloon in Marrakesh. Azzedine booked this for us without any fuss with a good company with a classic touch. Biggest THANK YOU, to Morocco Classic Tour for making our trip memorable. We hope to do Tangier in the future and will definitely chose you again. Do reach out to Morocco Classic Tour for your trip to Morocco. I trust he will plan your trip to suit any budget.Written September 18, 2024
- Advenf0 contributionsA Disappointing tourFor a complicated trip to Morocco, avoid Morocco Classic Tours with Ben. We weren't able to properly explore the big cities, ancient villages, or enjoy the country's diverse landscapes. Ben, our guide, made the experience disappointing, and the adventure in the Sahara Desert, along with the night in the camp, did not live up to our expectations.Written August 23, 2024

- jerrycW2387LK0 contributionsTravel through MoroccoWe travelled to Morocco under the guidance of Azzedine. From the get go, he made us feel very safe and took all of the stress out of figuring out the country from the start. We had a certain budget during the trip and he managed to set us up in places all across Morocco which were both fantastic and cost effective. We first went to Casablanca and freshened up. Despite Morocco being a very meat forward country, he was able to find various spots to accommodate my wife’s vegetarian diet. Azzedine consistently catered towards this for us throughout the trip. Next we explored Casablanca a little more and then travelled to Rabat and spent a little time there before travelling to Chefchaouen. The people in all three cities were super welcoming, friendly and communication was never a problem. Chefchaouen was particularly warm and welcoming. This city was filled with very good energy and the hotel set up by Azzedine was one of the best I’ve ever been to. From here, we left to Fez and spent the night there. Fez was a very market heavy place. You may do your shopping here, but keep in mind that they will price gouge you when they know you are a tourist. It is very important to bargain. We did quite a bit of shopping while there and our guide around the city was very knowledgeable and patient. I was very disappointed that the world’s oldest university was off-limits to the general public and non-muslim people, but we viewed it from the gate entrance. It is important to be careful while in Fez as many people will try to “help you” for tips. From Fez, we took the scenic route towards the Sahara desert. This was the highlight of our trip, by far! While we were unable to travel by camel through the Sahara, we did get to ATV through the desert for ~1 hour before travelling to our campsite. The Sahara was amazing and the campsite we stayed at was very hospitable! Salem and his team cooked us beautiful food, performed amazing music and chatted with us until late in the evening. This is a must do event while in Morocco. After the Sahara, we got to visit how the Native people survive and farm around the Sahara dessert. Azzedine showed us around how the natives lived. Azzedine set up a 5 star hotel for us to stay at where we had the entire castle to ourselves. From here, we traveled across the Atlas mountains and visited various locations on our way to Marrakech. When in Marrakech, Azzedine set us up with the best hotel I’ve ever been in. As this was our anniversary trip/honeymoon, we asked for a very nice hotel for the end of our trip and Azzedine did not disappoint. For our anniversary dinner, he provided us with multiple dinner reservations to accommodate my wife’s vegetarian diet. While in Marrakesh, he was always ready and available to take us anywhere and everywhere. Many times, he would simply be waiting for us outside of our hotel for long periods of time to take us anywhere at a moment’s notice. One of our final requests was to set up a hot air balloon ride while in Marrakesh. Azzedine constantly made sure that the experience would be most enjoyable and safe for us. We were finally able to set this up with a small group the morning before our flight. From here, Azzedine took us to the airport on time.Written January 29, 2024
- Azlan A0 contributionsThe mesmerising Moroccan adventureIf you a want a wonderful hassle-free cultural and country side tour of Morocco, the Morocco classic tours with Ben is the one for you. We were there from 23rd November to 4th December in a tour all managed, coordinated and car driven by Ben to see and enjoy the big cities, ancient villages, delicious local foods and amazingly diverse country landscape that has everything from sahara desert, rocky mountains, plains with palm trees and olive plants, thick forest and farmlands. Ben has been our driver, tour guide, entertainer and most importantly a caring friend throughout the journey. For tours which requires more specific knowledge of the cities like Marrakesh and Fez, Ben will engage city tour guides like Hamid and Moustafa who were very professional. We have visited Casablanca and Marrakesh before but this trip took us around the country starting from Casablanca to many cities and places like Marrakesh, Ait Ben Haddou, Ourzazate, Boumalne Dades, Merzouga, Fes, Chefchaouen. Throughout the journey Ben will highlight the beauty and uniqueness of the small towns and villages and we were fascinated by this small village which housed the African tribe that performed their folk dance and singing. The highlight of the trip for us is the spectacular desert where we took our camel ride adventure on the Sahara dune, watched the sunset, snd spend the night in an oasis like fully-equipped desert camp. The host brothers Salim and Mohamed were gracious and very hospitable and they cooked the local meals which was just outstanding. We must say the whole trip was very well coordinated, although there were some delays we managed to keep to our schedule and Ben kept it free&easy and never rushed us. The hotels were all amazing with traditional Morocan design and decors and the host gave good services. So if want a good tour of beautiful Morocco that is well-organised and hassle-free, look no further, call BenWritten December 15, 2023

We didn’t have anything to worry about as everything from hotel, transportation local guides were arranged by Mounim from the day we arrived Marrakech. He’s not only our driver throughout but a knowledgeable guide too. Mounim was very caring and always asking our wellbeing. He’s knowledgeable about the place we were visiting. He was also well versed with the road conditions.Thank you Ben and Mounim for the wonderful and awesome trip we had in Morocco. Not forgetting, thanks to local guides Hamid, Mustafa & Aziz making the trip interesting with their vast knowledge.Written December 13, 2023
- 977samratb0 contributionsA trip to remember: From luxury stays, cultural experience to earthquake!I along with my wife took the trip to Morocco on Sep 1-Sep 9. We were pleasantly surprised by how the trip was planned and executed, all thanks to Azdine. We did not have to worry about even a small thing as everything from hotels to cars to a local tour guide was all arranged by Azdine who is really an awesome person and a very knowledgeable guy. We started our trip from Fez. He received us at the airport and took us to the Riad Fez Mahal. The owner (Firdous) took care of us made us feel at home there and we had an amazing stay there. Also a big thanks to Mustafa, our local tour guide of Fez, a very knowledgeable person and a thorough gentleman. He took us to all the tourist places as well as the ones of historical significance. Anybody who wants to visit Fez, should do it with Mustafa. When we were walking on the street of Fez, it felt like we were walking with a celebrity as everyone on the street knew Mustafa and came to greet him. He took us to places where porcelain and Tazine are made as well as the manual tanning of leather is done but he never made us buy stuff from anywhere. A lot of shop owners kept asking Mustafa to take us inside, but he never did that. He made sure that we experienced Fez in more depth and he took us to places to buy things only when we asked explicitly. From there we went to the desert through the Atlas mountains all passing through the places of fossil hills, dates garden to Merzouga. The hotel arranged by Azdine was one of a kind which opened directly at the sand dunes at the back. There we also met with the African tribe who live there and we could enjoy a wonderful culture. From there, we went for a one-day stay to the most memorable part of the trip which was in the luxury tents. Now we can say that we took a shower in the desert. The amazing and lovely atmosphere, everything well taken care of by the two brothers Mohammed and Salim was a stay to remember. From playing bongos at night to celebrate my wife's birthday to watching the Milky Way galaxy. The stay was made more luxurious by Salim who was the owner as well as a gourmet chef. He treated us with such amazing cuisines that it was beyond explicable. From there, we went through the Atlas Mountains again to Dades Gorge. On our way to Marrakesh, we were lucky to see the city of Mareen(Game of Thrones enthusiasts will know what I am talking about) the arena where Game of Thrones, Gladiator, and The Mummy were shot. Lovely place. From there we reached Marrakesh. They also Azdine arranged a local guide for us (I am forgetting his name) but was a lovely experience. He also took us for lunch with a local family where we met this wonderful boy Haytam. It was a wonderful stay and an actual cultural experience that I and my wife were looking forward to having in Morocco. The biggest highlight of the trip was the last night. The night of 8th September, Marrakesh was hit by a huge earthquake which unfortunately killed a lot of people. We were right at Jemaa el-Fnaa square when it happened. We saw the tragedy through our own eyes. We were lucky that we were not hurt but what happened in the aftermath was of course worth mentioning. Azdine, although the trip was over as next day we were supposed to fly back to Germany, never left our side that night. Due to the earthquake, we were not sure if it is safe to stay in our riad as we were not aware of the damages, so we thought of going to the airport. Unfortunately, the airport was also shut down because of some damage inside, so we had to stay in the parking lot. I cannot explain the humility of this gentleman, Azdine, who just gave us his car so my wife and I could rest a bit and he was just roaming around casually chatting with other people like us for THE WHOLE NIGHT. Although he had to drive back to Fez to his family, without resting for the whole night he stood with us so we didn't face any problems. When the airport opened up in the morning at 7 he made sure that we went in. Only after that did he leave Marrakesh to Fez. With Azdine, it never felt like we were with someone unknown but it felt like we were actually traveling with our own family only. Any number of words cannot explain how grateful we are to have found Azdine to see this beautiful country of Morocco. As Azdine always say, he plans all his trip like a mission and it can be seen clearly in the places that he took us, the stays he arranged from hotels to the lunch with the local family. He is not a typical tourist guide who takes you to touristic places only and makes you buy stuff from expensive places. He took us to actual places of history and culture but also made sure that we didn't miss any tourist experience. And not only that, he stood with us in times of crisis like a thorough gentleman and a great friend. This trip for me and my wife was the most memorable one. All thanks to Azdine. Also a big hug to Hamza, Azdine's friend whom we met on our way who was going around with another family but a cool guy. Thanks and lots of love from Germany Samrat and RiaWritten October 17, 2023

- Aslı N0 contributionsUnforgettable Morocco 🤩I visited Morocco with my friends in June 2023. We stayed 8 nights and full days. It was an amazing experience. I would love to thank to our tour guide whose name is Azdine. He was not only our driver, he was with us all tour long and he showed us more than we expected. Him and his wife invited us to their home and we tasted delicious Moroccan food. I think there are a lots of highlights in Morocco but the desert experience was absolutely unforgettable. Essaoira, Chefchaouen were beautiful and very charming towns. Atlas Mountains’ landscape was absolutely gorgeous and of course Marrakesh night lifestyle was very impressive. After all the whole tour was exceptional. If Azdine would not be with us we could not enjoy it that much. Thanks Azdine again and hope so see you soon.Written June 18, 2023
- mtcevivar0 contributionsAbsolutely Worth it!6 day Customized GUIDED tour (Legit!) Day 1: Marrakech - Ourzazate Day 2: Ourzazate- overnight Desert camp experience Day 3: Desert - Fes Day 4: Half Fes - chefchaouen Day 5: Chefchaouen- Rabat- Casablanca Day 6: Casablanca- Marrakech You can't go wrong with Azeddine as a tour provider! Right from the start he was so patient in answering all my questions, and he was so helpful in coming up with the right tour to suit our preference. He speaks very fluent English which helped a lot in communicating. Early on we told him that we only had limited time to tour Morocco and that we want to experience the true culture see the true side of Morocco and not just be saddled with tourist trap sites and activities. We are fortunate that he did not disappoint! He highlighted significant sites and experiences that our understanding of the country is not just limited to tajines and the dessert. Truly, we were immersed in the Moroccan way of life. We especially enjoyed the food (from luxury food to your go to local variety) and the hotel accommodations which were really top notch and strategically located that maximized our time in every stop that we made. Over all, we truly enjoyed the dessert experience, the rich and colorful fes, the laid back Chefchaouen and the busy Rabat and Casablanca but more importantly we truly appreciated the personal input and explanation of Azeddine as we went along with our tour. 10 out of 10 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Written May 23, 2023
