We had a great tour and our guide Yirdir was excellent. Very patient, polite, and safe. We traveled with our 15 and 8 year old daughters. Arranged the trip directly with the company, they were very responsive and everything was well organized. We enjoyed the itinerary and learning more about the Berber people and culture. It was very hot in the desert camp in June, I would recommend traveling when it is cooler or sleeping outside of the tents. Great experience and highly recommended anyway.

Great crew to book with. Easy and fast communication online. We booked the most basic tour but was fortunate to have the whole car and camp to ourselves. The camel rides was exhilarating but desert sunset had us in complete awe. At camp, even though it was just the two of us, the crew put on a whole show, singing and drumming around a fire. They even indulged us with western music. Singing Toto’s Africa and Drake’s In My Feelings together under the stars was an unexpected but unforgettable highlight. It was pretty amazing. The camp itself was really nice! We knew it would be cold in the desert but was surprised we had a heater and even WiFi. Still would recommend warm clothing if going in winter though. The remainder of the trip was made special by Omar, our wonderful guide. He taught us about life and culture in Morrocco. We are pretty cautious as two female travelers but Omar was polite and a gentleman. He helped us down mountains, took pictures for us, and protected us from aggressive sellers. He gave us insights on local vs tourist prices. He is just a pleasure in general.

The only slight downside was that we agreed to pay by credit card in person prior to the trip but was told it was not available when we completed the trip. Since we did not have cash, we paid via PayPal which is fine but it incurs an excessive exchange fee if not using EUR. In any case, the tour price overall is reasonable and would still recommend :)

At first, I was skeptical in joining the sahara desert safari as I don't like the idea of camping without basic necessarily amenities. However my partner was very keen to go and I finally agreed to take the trip.

We selected the Sahara Desert Crew because of their excellent reviews and reasonable price. We took the small group tour but it turned out there were only 3 of us joining that day, so there was plenty of space in the car.

Before we arrived at the desert, we had the option to ride the camel at night or in the morning (after sunrise). Considering its a long camel ride (approx 1.5 hours) and we were pretty tired from the long car ride, we decided to take the camel ride in the morning instead.

Arriving at the desert, I was in awe at how luxurious the tent was. Their standard tents include: a comfortable queen bed, carpeted sand floor, ensuite bathroom and toilet (with hot water..!!). After bringing in our luggage, we were served delicious hot meals and treated to a performance of berber music and dancing around a campfire.

The next day, everyone (but me) was ready for the camel ride. I did not to ride the camel as I have fear of heights, so i went with a 4x4 instead. Even though I didn’t ride the camel, I didn't feel like I was missing out as I was taken on an off-road jeep ride through the same sand dunes.

During the three day trip, we were fortunate to see the “other side” of Morocco. It was a lot of driving, however we were lucky to have Moha (short for Mohammed) as our driver. Not only does he speak excellent english, he was very knowledgeable about each of the places we visited. He has a great sense of humour which made the long car ride more than bearable.

Despite my previous hesitation, I have to say that the safari has been the highlight of my trip to Morocco and I would definitely recommend Sahara Desert Crew.

We liked the tour very much, our guide Ibrahim answered all our questions, shared with each other Moroccan and Russian life experience and mentality. We spent the night in the desert together with my wife, no one else was in the camp - despite this, we also listened folk music, danced by the fire and looked at the stars. There was wi-fi in the desert. On the second night, the hotel had just few visitors and we could fully enjoy the pool

Opportunity for improvement: dispense handkerchiefs when riding camels, dispense cold water on a daily basis

My boyfriend and I booked a 3-day tour from Fès to Marrakech and everything was absolutely perfect! From the beginning Youssef was really fast in answering all our questions and the communication was super easy. Regarding the trip itself, it was beyond all expectations! Our driver and guide YIDIR was amazing: really professional, kind and interesting. He made sure we were enjoying every second of our trip and was eager to show us the best spots, but also to adapt the tour to our convenience. All the staff and persons we met during this trip were absolutely amazing and happy to make us discover more about Morocco! The night in the desert was truly magic!
If you’re going to Morocco, make sure you don’t miss to book a tour with Sahara Desert Crew, you won’t regret it!
A big thank you to all the team and especially to YIDIR who made our trip perfect!

A memorable excursion from start to finish. The stops en route to Merzouga are perfect and allow us to see breathtaking landscapes. Youssef made sure that our stay corresponded exactly to our request and he answered my questions very quickly before our arrival in Morocco. He even took care to come and greet us during our stay. Our guide Ibrahim took the time to describe the different sites and he always made sure we had everything we needed. Always smiling and patient despite the long days on the road. Thank you again for everything! I highly recommend during your visit to Morocco regardless of the excursion

This is for sure the best tour we have ever had in our lives. We're so glad we did it and we're so thankful with our guide Nour, we would definitely recommend him. He offered us an extra quad trip in the Sahara for 30€ which was great and nobody was offered anything similar. We also had a longer detour which was worth the +1h trip. We would skip the Hollywood tour, the rest is great.
Thanks Nour!

My girlfriend and I took a two-week tour in Morocco, and the last stop has been the Sahara desert.
We decided to put ourselves in the hands of Sahara Desert Crew, an agency which we discovered online thanks to the positive reviews they have.
The choice has been just right, they organized everything in detail from the pickup in Fes until the last destination Marrakech.
Special mention for our driver Yidir.
He made our adventure perfect.
Always highly professional, funny and kind.
He let us stop in every spot useful to take great pictures and he stopped by, on the way, in great local restaurants where we could appreciate the local cuisine at low prices.
He constantly checked on us to be sure everything was going smoothly and spotless, and so it was indeed during the whole trip with him.
This trip will be unforgettable for us thanks also to Yidir.
Experience that I recommend to everyone.
Visit Morocco and visit Sahara!🏜️

This 3 day tour from Fès to Marrakech was simply a life experience. We say so many things, so many different landscapes in one country and it is all due to Amar's tour. It was an AMAZING road trip. Amar, the driver, he is one of a kind. He wants people to discover his country. If you have a question, he wil make sure to give you an answer. We learned and saw so much. Amar would recommend us great restaurants and would stop at all the must-see in Morroco. This tour was one of my highlights during my trip. I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to laugh, discover, learn and enjoy the wonderful country that is Morocco. Amar is simply the best guy that can offer you all that
