We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Desert Day Tours! The booking process was easy and straightforward. Our drive from Marrakech into the desert (through the High Atlas Mountains) was a great way to see the country - don't let the distance put you off! Our driver was extremely nice and hospitable and we learned a lot about Morocco during the two trips (we went to Fez after the desert). We stayed in the luxury tent, which was very spacious and offered panoramic views of the Sahara dunes. The morning camel ride in the dunes was magical. The staff went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay - even stopping in the car to pick new dates! I can only warmly recommend booking for an unforgettable Sahara experience – many thanks to the entire team!!

Mohammed was amazing! He picked us up in Fez and was friendly and professional, sharing information about Morocco along the way. He was very accommodating to our wishes during the trip. Upon arrival at camp. Ali and Ahmed were very kind and caring. The food was amazing and the experience of sleeping under the stars in the desert was magical. Ending our trip at the Kasbah was so divine! Here too, the food, the staff, everything was spectacular. We really look forward to coming back soon!

Our tour is not in the drop-down menu. I traveled with my cousin on a 2-night, 3-day tour from Fes to Marrakech. Our guide, Youssef, was a great! He gave us information not only about the areas we passed but also insight into Moroccan culture, the dos and donts, and some thoughts about the country as a whole. We appreciated the Sahara stop most and would have loved to stay longer.

What an amazing experience. Our guide and driver Omar was spectacular. Went over and above to make our experience enjoyable and unforgettable. We are already planning our next trip back.

Mohamed and his team put together a nine day program that hit all the right notes. Youssef, our driver was kind, attentive, knowledgeable and he was a great travel companion. We shared stories, exchange cultural outlooks and had many laughs along the way. He also put up with our idiosyncrasies with grace. Our guides in Fes, Marrakech and the Sahara were also very good. Although I was initially a little apprehensive about transacting the whole program on WhatsApp, these guys are legit and they really know their craft. We just completed a 5 day tour from Fes to Marrakech. It included 2 nights at a desert camp and 2 nights enroute through the middle and high Atlas Mountains. I cannot say enough about our guide, Hassan Bahddou. He is considerate, fun and very informed about all geographical and historical points of interest. It is a pleasure to spend the day with him and he will answer anything you want to know. The staff at the desert camp was also amazing and we shed a few tears after our 2 nights there. All the excursions were good and well planned and the food we received was excellent. I would highly recommend Desert Day Tours for a genuine experience in Morocco.

We had a really great three days tour from and to Fés. The drive itself was already very interesting, but of course sunrise and sunset in the middle of the Sahara were absolutely unforgettable. The camp Mohammed picked for us was perfect. Further away from other camps, rooms and staff were lovely! Most importantly though: We loved our driver and guide Idir. He made the trip even more special! Thank you!

We took a private tour from Fes to Marrakech with one stay in the luxury camp in the desert and one night in a hotel. Our tour was amazing and our driver Idir ( I'm probably spelling the name wrong, so sorry about that!). It's a long trip with a lot of driving so the private tour is well worth it. The driver was amazing and we had some great laughs, learned a lot and even listened to some great berber music :) The camp in the desert was brilliant. It's hard to believe you can have a full bathroom with hot water in the desert as well as wifi! The desert was definitely the best part of the tour and so worth the drive as well as meeting our driver's family. His daughter that shares my name stole my heart forever. Thanks very much for a once in a lifetime experience. Shukran!!

My husband and I were lucky enough to book a day trip from Fes to the Atlas Mountains and more through this company. We are here shortly after the earthquake and feel so lucky to be here- the cities are fully open for tourism and we had the best time. From the beginning, Mohammed was willing to work with us to make our trip unique and curated to our liking. He even accommodated a last minute switch. I highly recommend this tour if you’re hoping to get out of the city and see new sights, take in new scenery and meet amazing local people along the way. We fed friendly monkeys, walked “little Switzerland”, enjoyed coffee at our stop, and visited a Berber home. The most amazing people are welcoming you there. We were even luckier to have the amazing Abdel drive us. He felt like family after the tour was over. Book the trip- you won’t regret it and you’ll be back to Fes feeling like you explored something new and special!

Can’t recommend this tour enough. It is a wonderful way to experience beautiful Morocco. We saw so much in 3 days. Diverse landscapes, changes in weather, Berber culture and of course the unforgettable night in the Sahara. Our guide Hassan Bahdoou was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about his country and was a superb driver. Felt completely safe and comfortable with him. Hassan always asked us what we wanted to do and there was never any pressure. For example we chose not to visit the carpet makers as we didn’t plan to buy any but loved it when Hassan took us to see some traditional gnawa musicians. Thank you Hassan for making our Moroccan holiday so special.

We had excellent 4 days 3 nights trip from Marrakech to Sahara with stops along the way. Our guide from a desert day tours was Ismail and was really excellent - energetic, helpful, polite, great driver, informative, and we’d highly recommend him and the tour company. We had many great stops to see amazing views , fantastic towns (especially ait ben haidou), stayed at great places arranged by the tour co, and the absolute highlight was time at the desert camp in the Sahara. The tour was all in line with how it had been described and arrangements before and during the trip were all very easy.

Best way to see the entire country of Morocco. Youssef was the best guide and very knowledgeable. Our night in the dessert was unforgettable.

This amazing 3-day tour took us from Marrakesh through the Atlas mountains and the desert to Fes. It was packed with beautiful sights, a diverse landscape and allowed us to get familiar with Moroccan and Berber culture. The stay in the desert camp along with the camel ride into the sunset was definitively the highlight of our trip to Morocco. Youssef, our excellent guide and driver, made us feel welcome from the beginning and helped to make the whole experience more authentic by giving us cultural insights and historical anecdotes. NB: Although the price may seem high at first, it was definitively worth it as the activities included were numerous and fun.

If you’re headed to Morocco, a desert tour is a must and this is the company to use! They are very responsive to all questions and concerns making the trip as easy as possible. We were also lucky enough to have Youssef as our driver who was not only friendly and engaging but very accommodating, especially on the last day when we needed to get to Marrakech few hours earlier than originally planned. The desert camp itself was surreal, truly a magical experience. Can’t recommend the tour and Youssef enough!
