About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 157kailak0 contributionsMost Amazing Experience Ever Highly RecommendI genuinely cannot recommend this tour enough. The most amazing experience with the best tour guide ever. It wouldn’t have been the same without our tour guide Juba. He was so welcoming and accommodating to everyone. Always making sure all of us 17 girls had everything we needed. He showed us all over Morocco from the city of Marrakesh to the Sahara desert. Everything was spectacular from the restaurants he would take us to, the most spectacular accommodations, and super fun activities (like camel riding, ATVing, and sand boarding). He really showed us all of the best places it was so amazing.Written November 21, 2024
- 974krishnak0 contributionsGreat Morocco tour but please be aware of payment terms, and actual hotels booked may be different!I purchased this packaged tour from the tour company (contact Ali Juba) in advanced about 10 days prior to arriving in Tangier Morocco. We agreed on a fixed price and chose mid-luxury accommodations. The tour was great, our driver Ibrahim as very friendly and is a great driver. We really enjoyed the trip. The reason for only 3 star rating is that, Juba asked us to pay entire amount by cash after we arrived in Tangier. He should have disclosed the payment terms in advanced. Since we paid the deposit via Credit Card, we expected to pay the balance via Credit Card as well. This was a big unpleasant surprise. I ended paying half amount by withdrawing cash at the ATM for which I ended up paying 7 to 10% bank fees. The balance I paid by PayPal for which he added additional 7% for Paypal fees. I understand that the reason for cash business is to avoid paying income taxes but this should have been disclosed prior to arrival in Morocco. Please be aware and negotiate payment term before purchasing this tour. Another reason for lower rating is that the last 2 hotels booked by this company were not mid-luxury. They booked lower rated hotels saying the the hotels included in the tour package proposal were not available.Written May 10, 2024
- Jozi710 contributionsAn impressive and exciting TripOur trip from Fes to Marrakech was an impressive and exciting trip. Hassan knew all the details, was a great guide and driver. We always felt safe. The entire route was planned individually to our wishes , we saw a very personal view of the country. When one of the hotel bookings was mixed up, Hassan took charge and quickly arranged an alternative - we were so impressed. We are happy to recommend Morocco Destination Tours further. - 615willardd0 contributionsA Wonderful ExperienceMy wife and I took a eight day tour of Morocco organised by Moroccan destination tours. Our driver Hasan and tour guide Omar were excellent. They took such care to ensure that we had a memorable and good experience. Our tour was planned by Assou and we enjoyed every moment of it. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to explore Morocco.Written June 24, 2022
- Ladida L0 contributionsWonderful experience - best service ever!My friends and I went on an 11 day tour with Morocco Destination Tours. Everything, from the moment I reached out to the airport transfer on the last day, was just perfect. Our tour guide for 11 days was Omar and he made sure that all arrangements were perfect. I wish we had stayed longer. Morocco is a beautiful place, with kind and beautiful people. Morocco Destination Tours really went above and beyond expectations and I'm truly grateful for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.Written March 15, 2020
- Michelle S0 contributionsWOULD GIVE 10 STARS IF I COULDWe booked our tour of Morocco through Tourradar, but the actual tour company they used was Morocco Destination Tours. They did an excellent job. They were incredibly responsive in the weeks leading up to the tour, even around my crazy schedule and answered all my questions. I had a million things going on before the trip and didn't have a chance before the trip to research the accommodations that the tour company had gotten for us, so each time we went to a new hotel/riad I held my breath. Every time we checked in, it was a place that was absolutely beautiful! My husband and I also both have different food allergies and dietary restrictions, and they made sure to at each stop those were taken into consideration and we both had plenty of delicious choices for what to eat. But the best part of the trip was Hmad, our driver and guide, who was AMAZING! He was entertaining, knowledgeable and friendly, but mainly he cared about our experience and wanted to make sure that we enjoyed ourselves. 8 days in a car with someone could have been hard, but we had a great time with him. The 2 guides that we had for each of the days with walking tours were also fantastic, as were all of the people we dealt with in the hotels and Riads and at camp in the desert. All in all, the tour company set up a once in a lifetime tour for us and did it at a very reasonable price. These guys are the BEST!!Written September 2, 2019
- danycantuc0 contributionsAmazing ExperienceJoba was the best tour guide. We were a group of 15 girls and we felt safe the entire time. He was really attentive to all of our needs. The cities we visited were very interesting. The best part of our trip was staying one night in the Sahara Desert. It was really worth it, and will 10/10 recommend this trip with Joba.Written June 2, 2019
- aldarak0 contributionsTourA very good tour! Very nice tour guide and very helpful with everyrhing! I strongly recommend it if you want to visit Marrakech! Written April 21, 2019
- Legerepat0 contributionsTour of a LifetimeI was a little apprehensive about touring in Morocco but Jana, at Destination Morocco tours was extremely helpful. She organized the entire 7-day trip, which included an English-speaking driver, tour guides in Fez and Marrakesh, and accommodations at each location. The accommodations were very nice, clean and the staff spoke English. All accommodations included, at least, breakfast. The highlight of our tour was Glamping in the Sahara, which included a 2 hr camel ride to the camp. Hot water, solar power, and believe it, wifi. We awoke at dawn to a crisp, sunny sunrise over the dunes. All in all, this was a trip we’ll never forget.Written April 10, 2019
- Buland K0 contributionsThe Best Morocco TourThe tour company is amazing. They are very professional in their business and promptly answered all my questions. I asked for particular type van which they made sure to arrange for me. Sent the best person (in my opinion ) Omar to us who is young and energetic, very humble and respectful. Drove the entire trip very carefully and always making sure that all of us are wearing seatbelts when it was required. He stopped everywhere we asked and never showed any sign of annoyance. Kudos to Omar. For us we had the best vacation and partly it was because of a very good tour company. I will highly suggest this company. They were the cheapest in price but best in service. I could not pay them on time but they never asked for it even on my last day. Finally on the last day I made the full payment. Thanks to Chase bank fixing my issue. Highly suggest this company and the person I talked to was Ali and see if you can request Omar as the driver.Written January 12, 2019
- hamblyn0 contributionsGreat communication, outstanding service and definitely value for moneyWe were two couples taking a 10 day private tour: Starting in Marrakesh, ending in Rabat via Taroudante, Sahara, Fes & Chechouen. Highlights were many: Amazing ever-changing landscapes and scenery; Atlas mountain ranges; Walk into Saffron farm; Sahara desert overnight; Fantastic local guides in Marrakesh, Fes and Rabat; Informative, humourous and unobtrusive tour guide Hassan; and Safe, steady driver Assou. Hassan and Assou were fantastic throughout and definitely contributed to our enjoyment by making things so easy. We decided to change itinerary during the tour and this was acommodated without fuss. Our accommodation choice was three star quality and while varying standards and quality were experienced all were at least three stars. If we were to change anything it would be taking 2 days rather than 1 to experience, enjoy and observe the artisan souks of Fes. This was however our choice in order to fit our timescales.Written October 28, 2018
- shantimichelagnoli0 contributionsMorocco wouldn’t have been the same without JobaEverything was incredible, from the actual tours and views to the quality of people we were sourrounded by during the whole trip. All activities were tailored to what we felt like doing yet we didn’t miss anything worth seeing in Morocco. I would recommend this 100%. Joba made our day with his good vibes and if I ever go again i would definitely reach out to him. AmazingWritten October 18, 2018
- lalizuccolillo0 contributionsAMAZING stay thanks to Joba!I would recommend using this agency to everyone, Joba was our guide and our trip wouldn’t have been the same without him. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time, he took us to great places, was extremely helpful, friendly, and he takes incredible pictures. If you are going to Morroco use his service, you won’t regret it.Written October 17, 2018
- Alejandra S0 contributionsJoba our beautiful guide :)We planned our trip, and a friend recommended us with Joba. We talked to him and since the very beginning he was very accesible and answering our doubts before our stay. The stay and the tours were wonderful. He’s the best, you will feel safe, happy, and confortable with him.Written September 12, 2018
- Francesca B0 contributionsGreat Morocco experienceI traveled around Morocco for ten days with two friends, our guide Ali and a dedicated driver. The tour was customized according to our requests and we managed to visit so many places. We had a very comfortable private mini van with air conditioning and wi-fi connection. Most of the riads where we stayed were charming and well positioned. The desert experience and the night we spent in the camp was awesome and we’ll never forget it. Ali was helpful, friendly and we really had fun together: I would surely recommend him!Written June 19, 2018

We had a full round-trip from Marrakesh visiting the imperial cities, Casablanca, Chefchaouen and Sahara desert. Amazing experience and only positive comments to make! With Ali and Ibrahim we had great guides, reliable driver with ultra comfortable vehicle and lots of nice pictures to remember our trip from :) They have excellent suggestions for activities and accommodation and feel free to ask them to customize the trip to your preferences. Thank you for everything!

I booked a 10 days trip from Casablanca to Rabat, Chefchaouen, Meknes, Fes, Midelt, Merzouga( Sahara Desert), Toudra Valley. Todra Gorge, Dades Valley, Quarzazate and Marrakech, there are lots of things to tell, from the city you see the history, civilization from the past, different religions and cultures but they respect to each others, as for the country side the landscape is very beautiful and very different from place to place, I strongly recommend this Hotel Meteorites Boulajoul , this is a very ideal, fantastic place to see sunset, sunrise and starry sky and take photos because of this hotel is located on a vast piece of land without anything blocking the views, the staff here are super nice and friendly, Moroccan peoples are very friendly and helpful especially our guide ( Aziz), he is very humorous, always make us laugh and the driver (Abdullah) , he drive safely and smoothly, the places we go I really love every thing I see because every day things you see is so difference which you can learn a lot of knowledge and new things.

Morocco tour review- 8-day private tour (5 cities):
Morocco Destination Tours, and more specifically Juba, THANK YOU!!
Summary:
VISIT MOROCCO WITH MOROCCO DESTINATION TOURS! No other place will compare to it – quite literally.
This was my first time travelling to not only Morocco, but to Africa, and it was genuinely of the best trips I have ever done in my life. Everything from the packaged deal to the service, to the sightseeing, to just how beautiful the country & its people are, made it a once in a lifetime trip.
I could not have asked for a better tour package, and tour guides, to show me a new country. Honestly, we are now friends with Juba (our tour guide) and hope to see him soon again!
It is important to be aware of the cultural differences, and it can sometimes be complicated to plan a trip to a country with a less structured tourism industry- but Morocco Destination Tours made it easy, accessible and stress free.
Once again, THANK YOU Juba and team!!! We will never forget this trip. I hope you get lots of people to trust in your service so you can continue to share your beautiful country & sustain your family business that you work so hard for. You deserve it.
Overall service:
I will say it a million times, but the crew with Morocco Destination Tours is THE BEST.
Always willing to help, willing to answer questions, with a smile on their face – we are so thankful to Juba and his cousin(our driver) for making our experience a true delight.
Yes, you pay them for their service, but they do not have to be super friendly to you. Moroccans are so nice, and especially this tour group.
We were there when the Sept 8th earthquake hit Marrakech. Our tour had ended that morning, but amidst desperation & distress we contacted Juba to help us figure out where we could stay for our last 3 nights in Morocco. Our hotel was affected by the earthquake, and we had nowhere to sleep.
Juba answered immediately, even though he no longer was providing a service & he was busy helping his family & friends. He found us a new hotel, and checked in on us until the day we left Morocco. There is no price for a kind heart.
Price:
As I said, this trip is STEAL. One of the best trips of my life for 1350 euros for the tour.
You get a completely private tour, with top hotels, private transport, full flexibility & peace of mind for a price that would buy you only half of that anywhere else.
I am a corporate finance analyst, I earn enough to live in New York, but am not at the point where I can drop tons of $$$ on trips yet. This is worth it.
Tourist group details:
I am a 25-year-old woman living in New York, USA. I am originally from Peru. I travelled with my boyfriend who is from London, and lives in New York too.
Being from Peru, I have seen what tourism can look like in developing countries like Morocco. I was not expecting it to be a breeze in terms of the logistics, but I was nervous to visit a country so different to the western world I am used to.
Both my boyfriend and I have travelled a lot around the world. We have seen luxury, we have seen outdoors, we have seen wealthy & less developed countries. Morocco is entirely unique.
This tour fitted our ideal of a trip perfectly because the itinerary was super complete with 8 days and five cities, and we had total autonomy over how to use our time.
However, I do think you can fine tune it for bigger groups, families, older or younger people. Juba and his team are SUPER understanding, and accommodating so they will make you feel at home.
Itinerary:
8-day tour all around the country. We saw it all: desert, mountains, beach, old and new cities & villages. We went to Marrakech, Fes, Chefchaouen, stayed a night in a luxury camp in the desert (rode camels and literally had a feast in the middle of the Sahara!!), the Atlas Mountains, Rabbat, Casablanca. All in 8 days, I still cannot believe it.
I never imagined that Morocco would be so diverse, and that each spot would be so unique. We learnt about Berber tribes, and the imperial cities through museums & tours & interactive activities such as visiting an Argan oil cooperative (where they make the oil!), as well as having a chance to try different foods & meet diverse types of Moroccan people.
This itinerary gives you the whole scope. We even stopped by the road in the mountains to play with some monkeys!! (Actual Berber monkeys!!). One of the coolest things I have ever done.
Packed with quality activities, Morocco Destination Tours made my life so much easier. I could have never planned an itinerary this good on my own, with limited knowledge about the local best places to go, how to stay safe, and how to coordinate all into 8 days (google will not do it).
Again, if you would like to do more of one or the other, they will be super accommodating and give you options. If you would like a more relaxed pace or more days in a particular place, they will also do that. Morocco is your oyster!
Accommodation:
We went for the mid-luxury package. They were all 5-star hotels, with access to rooftops, pools, clean & safe rooms (also include safe boxes) and very friendly people.
For the price tag, I did NOT expect such charming hotels. This is a deal. I felt like a princess. They all had access to spas, and restaurants, and free breakfast. All located very conveniently in the middle of the cities and definitely worth a million pictures. I have never found a better deal for hotels than this – not even in my home country where I know the tricks. We even spent a night in a luxury camp in the middle of the desert where we had a massive dinner, hot water showers, a music show by the fire at night, and people to carry our bags. Juba even went out of his way to get us a bottle of red wine (he asked me which wine I liked).
Chez Pierre hotel in the Dades valley is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. Huddled in between mountains, it is lamp lit & luxurious. We had a delicious gourmet meal under the stars.
If you look them up online on Booking or google, you will not be able to beat Morocco Destination Tours’ prices – Juba has a great relationship with all these folks and can assure you a fair price. Juba also made sure to check all hotel rooms when we first got there to ensure they were clean & perfect.
Transport:
We got a private driver AND Juba (our tour guide and coordinator) throughout the whole trip. He is not with you all the time though, so do not worry you can get all the privacy you need when doing the activities or walking around. Ridiculously AMAZING.
The driver is Juba’s cousin and super friendly. He always made us feel safe in the Mercedes Benz minivan and would get us places in a timely manner. Juba guided us through the surroundings while we road tripped around the country.
Fuel is included, you do not have to worry about it. The car was new & spacious with three rows and wide seats. I always felt safe, even though the windy roads in the mountains, which was super important to me.
Guides:
As said above, we had Juba always come with us and he is a professional guide so he would describe everything from types of trees we saw in the desert to museums.
Additionally, the tour includes a specialized guide in Fes and Marrakech. These are big, medieval cities with many alleyways, religious buildings, and historical sites. Both guides we had at each place were super knowledgeable, super friendly, gave us tours LONGER than we had even paid for because they loved their city so much. We gave on average $30-$40 tip between me and my boyfriend. That is because we do not earn that much relative to other New York corporates (if you can give more…please do!)
Flexibility:
Again, super flexible throughout the whole trip with schedules, things to do, stops in the road trip to use the toilet, and even the hotels you want to go to. Just ask.
Communication:
Juba was always super responsive via Whatsapp (and Eastern Time, New York time). I do not know at what time he goes to sleep, because he would always answer so quickly! Going to a new country, I had so many questions. I am also a big planner, so I wanted to know all the details. Juba gave me all the information and made it super easy to coordinate.
He picked us up from the airport on the first day, and even took us to exchange cash & buy a SIM card. He would let us know at what time we had to check out of the hotel every morning for the daily itinerary and would be easy to meet up with after our activities. Great service.
Improvements:
• Letting the tourist know more in advance the final hotels booked.
• Adding food recommendations to the itinerary.
• Advice on booking the spas at hotels earlier in advance so you make sure you get space.
• More advice on staying safe while walking around and what the usual range of tips are in the country.
Morocco Destination Tours, and more specifically Juba, THANK YOU!!

Mabuhay! The trip was absolutely amazing.Full of excitements.Itineraries were good and well arranged.Full packaged trip nature, historical, food tasting and encountered new things. They provided good hotels and riads. We had good and nice tour guide named Rakim,Mohammed,Hamid and ofcourse the man always with us on the road Hassan Oumaarir. He took care of us,he’s like a big brother always giving reminders. This was the trip that I cant forget, experienced my first time to eat fig and cactus fruit.Kudos to you Hassan you let us try this fruit👏👏👏.What most amazing I liked Morrocan cuisine no doubted I can eat their food(for a picky on food person)and even tried lamb meat👏👏.Made myself proud of😉.

This experience is beyond words, we made a personalized private tour with Joba, we got to know a totally different country and experience than what we were expecting, we imagined it would be great but it is mostly amazing, the treatment, organization and people taking care of this are amazing and very kind, the face of Morocco you get to know is something you never expect and the experience at the Desert is beyond words! Thank you Joba and the agency it was a dream come true!

Hi does this trip include riding camels for the day or the night in the desert? If it is not is that something that could be added?
