- Paradise31917600Best Tour EverNezha was an amazing guide and host. This tour was perhaps the best we have ever experienced. Nezha grew up in this wonderful and fascinating neighborhood, and generously shared her experiences and knowledge with warmth and joy. All of the places we visited had their unique scents, colors and tastes and the local people could not have been more gracious. Loved every moment.
- petel65500Authentic and tastyThis tour was our introduction to Casablanca and Morocco as a whole. We had a great morning getting the opportunity to try a range of tasty treats while having an incredibly authentic experience in a local market. Hasnaa was so passionate about this city and ensured we had a wonderful time. We would recommend this tour for anyone wanting to get off the tourist track and explore Casablanca. Rated 4/5 as it was an expensive experience however we would definitely recommend.
- Cheryl R00Loved Our Casablanca Food TourHasnae was a delight. She was very knowledgeable, professional and personable. She gave us some fascinating history of Morocco and regaled us with stories of her family. We started at the Cafe Imperial where Hasnae ordered a selection of local Moroccan dishes. After that, she led us on a tour of the nearby market. She explained that locals used this market. With charming enthusiasm she showed us shops selling traditional clothing and brass works. She also took us to sections that had olives, nuts, spices, and traditional cosmetics. We were offered samples at every turn. Unfortunately we were already so full that we couldn’t accept all that was offered. We enjoyed fresh sugar cane and pomegranate juices as well as prickly pear fruit. She was very helpful in negotiating the cab ride back to our hotel. We recommend this tour to people who like to eat and experience new foods.
- jackandkennonk00Wonderful Experience with the “Taste of Morocco “ tourHasna was wonderful and pleasant during our food tour. She met us with a big welcoming smile, which made us feel comfortable right away. We were in Casablanca celebrating our wedding anniversary and decided to enjoy a “Taste of Morocco”. The food samplings were delicious, it was an overall wonderful experience. The knowledge that she shared about life in Morocco, as it related to the tour was also very interesting. She also took beautiful photos for us during the tour. Thanks so much Hasna for wonderful, we’ll be sure and look you up on our next visit for more tours. -J&K
- H4514PAemmac00Delicious and educationalNezha was such a wonderful host. We learned so much, as well as trying some truly amazing food. I highly recommend this tour for those keen try to Moroccan food beyond a tagine!
- Garrideb00Delicious food in an interesting neighborhoodThe street food tour opened up a new area of the city to us - vibrant, more of a feeling that this is where city residents spent time and money. Going to what's possibly Casablanca's best bakeries, and then seeing a communal oven; strolling the street market and nabbing early season tiny apricots - everything was interesting and delicious. Our guide Nezha clearly loves her home city and did a great job of sharing that with us. We enjoyed talking to her about Casablanca's food, culture, and more. There was MORE than enough food. The tour was compelling enough that we came back on our own the next day to do a bit more shopping, get a box of those marvelous cookies to bring back home, and buy some more dried fruit (unfortunately without Nezha's ability to bargain, so we did pay the tourist tax). We then had a leisurely lunch at the restaurant adjacent to the meeting point. I finally took that box of cookies out of the freezer to share with family. It took me right back to being in Morocco.
- christinemS9316AG00Best way to experience local Casablanca Foods!!Nezha took us on a wonderful tour filled with history, markets and of course delightful local foods! She was very familiar with the area and customs. Would strongly recommend!
- Maps59064500Great and magicalNexus was marvelous. She is what guides are supposed to be- knowledgeable friendly, understandable. We saw and tasted what Moroccans eat from day to day. We’d highly recommend this excursion to any and all. Magical
- taylordC855BH00A great experience of local food and the cityWe had a fantastic time with our Casablanca food tour. Our tour guide, Nezha, was awesome. She was very knowledgeable about the food on the tour as well as the area itself. It was nice to learn about the history and architecture of the Habbous neighborhood while eating local cuisine. This tour is a great way to immerse yourself in Moroccan culture and the food is delicious. Nezha went above and beyond for our tour group and made sure we all had a great time. Thank you for a great tour!
- Bibigravelle00To be done by allNezha had great knowledge if the town that she grew up in The food was delicious and varied, really went off the beaten path for real local experience Will recommend to anybody to have a great experience in real Morocco
- Michelle S00Lovely Booking Experience! We didn’t end up taking the tour because our plans changed but they were so kind and generous and had loads of advice while we were deciding what to do. I am sad we won’t use them but excited to travel back to Morocco and work with them another time.
- 440jow00Casablanca Food TourIf you want to learn more about the New Medina and get a taste of Morocco you must do this food tour! Nezha, our guide, was a wealth of information and provided us a fantastic tour of the new Medina as well as provided us with taste experiences of tea, breads, olives, fruits, lunch with meats & salads and of course cookies and deserts. A great way to experience Casablanca.
- A8725UGjenniferf00Perfect start to my Moroccan adventureThis was a great tour. The host took us through the Habbous district, telling us about the history of the district and the culture, and taking us to some very memorable food vendors. My personal favourite was enjoying a hot chicken pastilla at Patisserie Bennis Habbous. We were there a few weeks before Ramadan, so we also ate a number of traditional cookies from the Patisserie. It was excellent. I enjoyed all of the tour, and it really helped that our guide, Nezha, was so knowledgeable and patient.
- FellowTraveler31417900Cooking with ChamoisWe met Chamois at her lovely home. She was prepared for a through and fantastic cooking lesson! We had a few options, and chose Lamb Tangine. Chamois led us step by step through the dish and sides. We were very comfortable and so pleased with our experience.
- Elwaltrs00Perfection!Couldn’t have had a better experience — nezha was knowledgeable, kinda, fun and all- around wonderful. Was so great that she’s from the neighborhood — knew everyone and everything!

Fantastic food tour of Casablanca! Our guide, Nezha, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and very generous with her time. She took us for a breakfast pastry, then a snack pastry, then a massive seafood lunch at the market where she had pre-selected all the seafood and the restaurant had prepared it, and finally to a local bazaar. The lunch was overwhelming and wonderful and our only regret was that we couldn't eat everything. Highly, highly recommend!

We had a terrific experience and a very fun tour with Hasnaa! She took us to multiple places, told us much of local history, and helped us have an amazing and authentic seafood lunch. We did some shopping with her afterward, and she gave us cookies. Highly recommended!

I did this street food tour with Christine and Nezha (local guide) in the popular Habous quarter. I enjoyed it very much. It's a must for travellers who like to mingle among the local people and want to smell and taste their delicious food. It's a pleasure to walk with Christine and Nezha. They give valuable background information about the food one should try.

Two friends and I signed up for this tour on our first day in Casablanca. Our guide Nezha was joined by Christine, the owner of the company, who came along to take photographs and experience the tour with us. We snacked on grilled bread with amlou (an addictive combination of ground almonds, argan oil and honey) and fresh juice, then a tour of some important civic buildings nearby. When we returned to the market, we explored it a bit, tried some fresh oysters, then went to a fish stall where Nezha selected a mind-boggling assortment of swordfish, salmon, calamari, sole, shrimp, fresh grilled sardines, The seafood was taken to a nearby restaurant where it was all cooked for us. This was accompanied by spring rolls made with minced seafood and vermicelli, Moroccan bread, tomato/onion salad, eggplant salad and lentils. It was an incredible feast and a great introduction to Moroccan life and cuisine. We enjoyed it immensely and would recommend it to anyone who likes food - lots and lots of delicious food!
