- Daniel T0 contributionsFood tourIt was a pleasure to discover traditional Casablanca's food with Hasnae She brought me to the places I would've never found myself. Very authentic. All places were clean. It was more than plenty of food to try and enjoy. Hasnae is very nice and knowledgeable. If you want to see and eat in Casablanca off the beaten path, don't hesitate to book food tour with HasnaeWritten December 14, 2024
- bridgitj20220 contributionsGreat experience through the msrkets of HabbousFantastic and interesting tour through and around Habbous. Food was generous and very good. We tried sweets, fruits, nuts, traditional chicken pies (my favorite), then grilled meats, tagine and bread. Our guide was Nezha, she was very informative as she guided us through the various markets. Really enjoyed our afternoon!Written November 14, 2024
- Y8297IBrichardm0 contributionsGreat introduction to Moroccan Cuisine! We thoroughly enjoyed our Casablanca Street Food Tour! Our guide, Hasna, was extremely knowledgeable in regard to both Moroccan history and current local foods and cuisine, and gave a fluent and enjoyable commentary of cooking and eating customs of the city, within a framework of Mediterranean customs generally. The markets and restaurants visited were most interesting and seemed very authentically Moroccan, and samples provided were widely varied and interestingly tasty. However, at USD 214 for a couple, we did feel the tour was on the expensive side, compared to other tours we have done. But all in all, an excellent experience!Written November 10, 2024

- susansL5255IT0 contributionsYou won’t be hungryDelicious introduction to typical Moroccan foods on a walking tour through Habbous with Nezha. You will not be hungry at the end of the! We had some trouble hearing our guide in the busy crowded streets and markets because we were a large group, but knew that might be a problem. Olives, dates, nuts, hand pies, fruits, and meat dishes - topped with mint tea and cookies makes for a lovely nightWritten October 28, 2024
- Andrija M0 contributionsAmazing experineceAmazing experience! The Casablanca Moroccan street food tour was a flavorful journey through authentic local dishes. - ktleopard0 contributionsFun and Food in CasablancaWe had a blast! Nez was the perfect guide. We got a bit of a history lesson, strolled the streets and markets, got to see a very cool meat market. Ordered food from the butcher and a local restaurant in the market cooked it for us. I would highly recommend this tour! KeithWritten October 16, 2024
- 925cindyg0 contributionsGreat experienceWe had our tour with Nezha. We had a great time and experienced many markets and tasted lots of great food. It is a great way to see Casablanca. Thanks Nezha!Written October 10, 2024
- RetiringnotShy0 contributionsA wonderful introduction to Moroccan food and cultureWe had the most wonderful experience on our tour with Nezha. We were very fortunate to have Nezha to ourselves, and whilst we were not very hungry, and didn't eat all the food offered, we learnt so much from her. The entire tour was a feast for the senses. Cannot recommend this tour highly enough.Written October 4, 2024
- philEclair0 contributionsAuthentic tour in the real moroccan lifeNice tour in the true heart of Casablanca where inhabtants buy their daily products. No tourists, rather a lot of locals (don't be afraid of the crowd or to be appealed.) Visiting the souk area, you'll discover the clothes area, the metal craft area (tea pots...) and, of course the baker area (pastillas, sweets...), the butcher one, the fish one, the spice one and the olive one. End the tour with a traditional tajine and you won't need to eat till the end of the day...Written September 22, 2024
- Navigate284831461240 contributionsStreet Food Tour not to be missed! What an incredible experience! We were met by Hasnaa at the Habbous and had 3 hours of food, culture, history, geopolitics, and Moroccan immersion. We would never have gained the insight we did without Hasnaa. The market is huge, very easy to get lost in, and relatively overwhelming with no Arabic or French, but totally fabulous with an experienced and welcoming guide. We sampled literally anything we dared, Hasnaa would carefully select and purchase the produce from the market sellers, explain the origin or culinary use, supply tissues and teaspoons, take the photos when our hands were full, keep us from being run down by the ubiquitous motorbikes, ensure we stayed hydrated and, all the while, filling our heads with startling and interesting facts about her wonderful country! What an experience - I can not recommend Hasnaa and the Taste of Casablanca Street Food Tour highly enough to justify the wonderful day we have just had!Written September 7, 2024

Nezha is a resident expert on the architecture, history and local foods. We had great street food tastings including fresh squeezed pomegranate juice, Oysters, harissa soup and bread. Then we went to a craft area and had the opportunity to purchase a beautiful hand carved frame. Then we went back to the fish market and choose what we would like for lunch. We took our calamari and shrimp, my choice, sea bass and sword fish steak, my husband’s choice, to a local restaurant were they prepared our lunch as requested. The lunch was so tasty and fresh, served with a selection of local salads. After our lunch in a busy area with live music we went to a coffee shop where we had coffee and dessert. Nezha was interesting, personable and full of stories. It was a great private tour. Should we return to Casa, we definitely would request her to be our expert guide once again.
We highly recommend her for any of your tours with her personal touch. Thank you Nezha, with kindest regards & best wishes,

Fantastic food tour of Casablanca! Our guide, Nezha, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and very generous with her time. She took us for a breakfast pastry, then a snack pastry, then a massive seafood lunch at the market where she had pre-selected all the seafood and the restaurant had prepared it, and finally to a local bazaar. The lunch was overwhelming and wonderful and our only regret was that we couldn't eat everything. Highly, highly recommend!

We had a terrific experience and a very fun tour with Hasnaa! She took us to multiple places, told us much of local history, and helped us have an amazing and authentic seafood lunch. We did some shopping with her afterward, and she gave us cookies. Highly recommended!

I did this street food tour with Christine and Nezha (local guide) in the popular Habous quarter. I enjoyed it very much. It's a must for travellers who like to mingle among the local people and want to smell and taste their delicious food. It's a pleasure to walk with Christine and Nezha. They give valuable background information about the food one should try.

My mom and I went on this tour with Nezha right after we got off the plane in Casablanca and it was a great way to learn immediately about the food in Morocco and a little bit about the city and its history. Nezha was very welcoming and my mom and I ended up being on the tour by ourselves, and enjoyed our very robust local seafood lunch.

Two friends and I signed up for this tour on our first day in Casablanca. Our guide Nezha was joined by Christine, the owner of the company, who came along to take photographs and experience the tour with us. We snacked on grilled bread with amlou (an addictive combination of ground almonds, argan oil and honey) and fresh juice, then a tour of some important civic buildings nearby. When we returned to the market, we explored it a bit, tried some fresh oysters, then went to a fish stall where Nezha selected a mind-boggling assortment of swordfish, salmon, calamari, sole, shrimp, fresh grilled sardines, The seafood was taken to a nearby restaurant where it was all cooked for us. This was accompanied by spring rolls made with minced seafood and vermicelli, Moroccan bread, tomato/onion salad, eggplant salad and lentils. It was an incredible feast and a great introduction to Moroccan life and cuisine. We enjoyed it immensely and would recommend it to anyone who likes food - lots and lots of delicious food!
