About
This vast 33,800 hectare park created in 1991 is located between Agadir in the north and Tiznit in the south, at the mouth of the Massa River. This area offers discovery trails with magical landscapes: coastal cliffs, dunes, wetlands as well as steppes. This true national heritage testifies to a biological richness in rare and endemic species as well as in natural ecosystems and landscapes.
In this park there are 24 species of mammals (mongooses, foxes, jackals, wild boars, wild cats ...). 250 species of birds. 26 species of amphibians and reptiles. Its flora includes more than 300 plant species (argan trees, thuja, eucalyptus, euphorbia ...) of which 13 are endemic. There are four species of antelope to discover: addax, oryx, Dama Mhorr and Dorcas gazelles and the red-necked ostrich.
Unfortunately, all of the animals on these reserves are threatened with extinction.

About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- lisasM8642IR0 contributionsNot a great experience and not as described.Horses very tired and didn't want to do nothing at all think it was there 5th time out in the heat, I can ride and they wouldn't even trot! It's a dirty track you go around you don't see the sunset nor the sea! Under fed horses and the guys don't speak good English. We went for the dinner option which food was awful dont bother and were left stranded as no one turned up to take us back so we waited an hour for the guy to sort us out a lift back. Book from England as cheaper really not worth it .Written May 19, 2024
- amanda09680 contributionsGoatsGoats on trees.. only in morroco... Took a taxi 300 dirum round trip for two of us to see the famous tree climbing goats Goats everywhere, excellent balance and coordination climbing the argan trees, they must have spent hours practicing their routines beforehand.Written May 15, 2024
- Suku18820 contributionsGoats on Agadir treeGoats were very cute up on the tree. They were probably put there just to become an attraction. Available all along the road to Agadir. Good photo opportunity.Written December 15, 2022
