- Camper460476354530 contributionsfantastic tourThis is a fantastic tour and I would recommend everyone who’s in the area to take it. The guide was informative, professional and went above and beyond to make the tour a good experience. The only thing I would do differently, is I would not have purchased the Argon oil from the Nat Fabrica factory. I’ve carried out test by placing the oil in the fridge for serval hours (100% Argon oil should go cloudy and thicken). The oil has not changed, which suggests it’s not pure. This has nothing to do with the tour guid and I would definitely book with him again when I return to Morocco.Written January 11, 2025
- sunshineheadquarters0 contributionsGreat experienceSpotted the cable cars whilst walking on the beach, took a short taxi ride up , 5 euros. Greeted by friendly staff, what a wonderful experience. Fabulous views from the cable car and around the top, happily wondered watching the camals, looking around the stalls. Definitely a must if you’re in and around Agadir.Written January 11, 2025
- 110traciem0 contributionsSmall dunes but great tour!Fantastic tour guide who was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the areas we visited. Actual vehicle used was not the most comfortable for six adults travelling in it. Major disappointed that the actual dunes safari expected was unlike the photos seen no race between other safari 4x4’s and very small dunes actually climbed. Apart from that great tour!Written January 10, 2025
- 204samij0 contributionsnot what I paid forI booked for a trip by Ecolodge Adventures via Tripadvisor, and found out only after paying that trip was with another company. They were supposed to pick us up 0720, but start was delayed the night before until 0750. Even then they were 30min late to arrive. There was no guide on the bus and the driver did not speak English. There was no information about stops on the way. Itinerary was supposed to include stops at Jemaa el-Fnaa and Bahia Palace, but did not. Koutobia Mosque stop was only a short history of the place on the square outside. Medina tour was run so fast through that it was impossible to even take pictures, only to be on time for 30min unscheduled promotional lecture on Argan oil. Experience was made even worse by few members of the tour being constantly late (and the guide not doing much about it).Written January 5, 2025
- James77730 contributionsLaughably underwhelming and disappointing excursionThis excursion is definitely not what it appears to be from trip advisor photos, description and ‘reviews’ Long minibus ride first stop interesting but main reason seemed to be to try and sell very expensive honey and cosmetics and 2nd stop was a shop with alleged great photo opportunity but really nothing of note and shopkeeper trying to sell goods at heavily inflated prices. The final destination is far from the paradise advertised but rather dirty looking water which you would be brave to swim in and a rocky terrain with rubbish strewn everywhere and some mangy dogs. The experience could be improved by some of the many vendors sitting around spending some time cleaning up, alas however it would still fall very short of expectations. The only silver lining was some laughs at how rubbish it was!Written January 5, 2025
- danielhW2075PK0 contributionsOverall quite OK but several minor details very annoyingIt started very annoyingly that the driver was 20 minutes late for the pickup at our hotel, without giving a head's up of this. Quite annoying as my wife and I travelled with a 3 year old and a 7 year old with not so good patience. And just generally irritating as the pick-up was quite early in the morning. When our driver finally came he showed up with a piece of s*it car almost 20 year old with no A/C and a broken speedometer. What a sad sight to see. Were we going to spend our full day in that car, together with 2 other people (7 in total)? Wow, talk about setting a bar low from the start. As a person from a Nordic country where (car) safety matters - speaking of kids - no childrens seats were provided even though we specified the kids age upon booking. And one of the seat belts were not working neither. Going on a bumpy desert ride without a working seat belt... well you can imagine how that felt. Other cultures of course - but on top of this, our driver spoke/fiddled around with his phone just so many times of the trip, he basically had his phone glued to his hand. He just didn't care at all. When asking him about the seatbelt missing he got offended too (!), as he was a "such a good driver", alledgely. His driving was really quite bad to be honest, in retrospect. His English was barely understandable on top of this. But he was generally nice anyhow, except for the part where he went all passive-agressive / defensive about the seat belt part. I guess the tour was just about OK / average anyway, as we really got to see some cool sites and sceneries. But what a bloody bad car having to spend about 7 hours in (with plenty stops though).Written January 4, 2025
- 808ona0 contributionsAmazing Tour with Hosain! We had a fantastic day with Hosain as our guide! He picked us up from the Sindibad Hotel, which was very convenient, and took us to a stunning botanical garden where the guide was funny and enthusiastic. Next, we visited Paradise Valley in the mountains, where we swam in natural pools and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Hosain even introduced us to the stray dogs he feeds, which was such a lovely touch. As a Berber, Hosain is incredibly knowledgeable about the region and shared great insights throughout the day. He’s polite, funny, and entertaining—he gave everyone nicknames! Highly recommend this tour and Hosain as a guide!Written January 2, 2025
- adamdO5770ZZ0 contributionsExcellent value and viewsWell worth a visit. Great views and takes you up to the Kasbah. Very modern and spacious cable car. Definitely get a return and it is a very very long walk back as the cable car covers a lot of distanceWritten January 1, 2025
- chrispM6728AN0 contributionsIt was an incredible tripIt was an incredible trip from start to finish! We began with a convenient pickup from our place and headed to the beautiful Paradise Valley. The experience included a short trek to a stunning waterfall, followed by a delicious lunch with breathtaking views by the riverside. Mustafa was extremely helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout the day. This is a must-do experience and comes highly recommended!Written December 30, 2024
- paigehA992YT0 contributionsDo not reccomendTour guide was very rude and felt the entire day was rushed. Nothing in the description stated about hiking for over half an hour to get to paradise valley up and down rocks and huge slopes, and didn’t state not suitable for people with back problems. I however powered through as I really wanted to see the valley, half way through the walk I was struggling and we was at the back of the group, the tour guide stopped me and my partner and told us we were not allowed to continue and had to wait there for everyone else to come back. Didn’t even get a choice of if we wanted to carry on or not. We must have only been sat there 45 minutes max and the group came back so didn’t seem they got a lot of time at the valley anyway considering we was left at the half way mark of the 30 minute walk. The botanical gardens was very rushed and all they wanted you to do was buy things. Only positive I would state is our driver was really lovely. He stayed behind to help me up and down with my partner, and made sure I was ok. All in all unless you want a rushed trip and a wasted day I don’t recommend. Also please don’t book if you have any form of back injury.Written December 28, 2024
- 938bencef0 contributionsPleasant half-day tripThe guides reached out to us via WhatsApp the day before the trip to get the name of our hotel and to schedule a pick-up time. They ended up arriving about 10 minutes before the agreed upon time, then called us and told us to hurry. Despite this somewhat unpleasant start, the rest of the tour turned out to be very enjoyable indeed. After making a few quick stops to pick up more participants with the minibus, we headed up the mountains. The guides occasionally provided some information on the sights via loudspeaker (both in English and French), but most of the time they left us to enjoy the views without much interference. The first stop was at a small botanical garden, where we got a brief but interesting tour of the garden showcasing local flora. We were also shown how argan oil is produced. We got to try free samples of local products such as honey and cosmetics. No pressure to make purchases was exerted. The next stop was on a hillside overlooking a valley with lush vegetation, a great place to take photos. There was also a shop selling typical souvenir items. Like the previous stop, this one also had a lavatory – the last one for the rest of the tour! After the second stop, the road became a bit bumpy, but the driver was also going more slowly. The final stop was at the oasis. After a 10-minute walk from the road down to the valley, we were given about 90 minutes to roam around freely. There are some restaurants (the prices weren't at all extortionate), and also some so-called fish spas (lawn chairs standing in the water with fish swimming around). One doesn't have to stay in this commercial area, and can wander further up the valley instead. Don't worry about getting lost: as long as you stay in the valley, finding your way back should be straightforward. The ride back to Agadir goes along a slightly different route. If you go in the afternoon, you may get to drive right into the sunset over the hills. Note that the seats in the minibus have very little legroom, so if you're of or over average height, this may cause some discomfort. At least on the way to the oasis, the frequent stops make the journey bearable.Written December 27, 2024

- Bob P0 contributionsAvoid. No other word. Just avoid.I honestly have no words to describe how bad this was. Other comments possibly do it justice but they didn’t go far enough. It’s just a corridor of rock lined rubbish filled with every possible crevice available stuffed with a pop-up shop selling total nonsense. We had a great time just joking how bad it was but if you are expecting an adventure into natural beauty then you’ll be better off spending the morning in a tanning salon.Written December 26, 2024

Good Stuff
1. Loads of time in the buggies!
2. We were able to go fast despite being in a single line.
3. You can share the buggy with your friend and swap half way so you both get a chance.
4. All members of staff were friendly and nice.
5. Unlike some tours there was no time wasting.
6. Only one stop for tea after the first hour.
7. All protective equipment provided
8. Pickup was prompt to and from hotel.
The Not so good stuff
1. Price is quite high but at least you won't be dissapointed!
2. Our Instructor/Lead driver was randomly attacked by somebody who passed by during our experience! This was quite shocking which ended up in a brawl!
Top Tips!
Wear long pants, trousers and face mask as that sand gets EVERYWHERE!
Bring your gopro with selfie stick so passenger can film! The footage looks great! (oh and put it into waterproof housing!)

The journey from Agadir to the buggy meeting point with other people was 1 hour... the first journey was only 20 minutes!! First at 10 km/h then at 30 km/h... in the dunes by the sea 30 minutes waiting for nothing... 15 minutes drive to a pointless Berber dwelling....quick check-in...with the guitar + tea... then the request for money... then 15 minutes back to the camp... transfer back again 1 hour... in conclusion... over 50 euros for that!! It is clearly a typical tourist rip-off... it took 25 euros longer in Marrakesh... and even with camels... so the whole afternoon... Result... not recommended!!
