      The views!
The views on this ride are beyond amazing. The novice tour is great for anyone without extensive riding experience. The ebike motor makes it very simple for anyone not wanting to expend a lot of energy.

      Unforgettable
JT is my man! I had an amazing time on the zip line tour at Kualoa Ranch! The staff were all incredibly friendly and full of energy, making the whole experience so much fun. A special shout-out to JT—he was absolutely hilarious and made me feel comfortable right from the start. We really worked well together, and he helped make the whole adventure unforgettable. Highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting!

Sit back, relax and enjoy the tide.
If you’re after a relaxing ocean ride with views that will leave you speechless, this is for you. Two boat rides and a shout out to Kylie and the crew! Knowledgeable, funny, and friendly. All tours state that they go ahead no matter the weather, so be aware. Probably wouldn’t be much fun in the rain. Even had a friendly dog on board which was another highlight personally. Noted no bathrooms or toilet stops once tour commences but there are toilets at the visitor centre so go before hand.

RAWR 🦖 Your tour guide is too small to be a T-Rex!
A small briefing at the meeting point before hopping on the bus. Our tour guide Carlos delivered some well put together “Dad Jokes” along the way but also some insightful history. Besides the history he provided some cool fun facts about the movie sites and took photos for us! Great day out with scenery that leaves you speechless. Mahalo Carlos and team! 🤙 Recommend for people of all ages. Make sure you have a water bottle and fully charged camera to capture all the magical moments!

      Horrible, couldn’t understand a thing
We did this tour 2/10, 2 o’clock tour, the tour guide was trying but couldn’t understand anything he was saying, it was a complete waste of time and money. I love other activities here but this one was horrible. Had to drive from Waikiki for an hour. Expected ranch to hire qualified tour guide and this was disappointing.

      Fantastic day. Highly recommended.
A fantastic day, we done the movie tour and the ocean tour. The scenery is just beautiful - pictures don't do it justice. The guides are so friendly and knowledgeable. Lunch was provided and was definitely a bonus - book if you can.

The best part of my trip!!!
This was my favorite part of my Hawaii trip. The tour guide, Jamie, was amazing and hilarious! She also took the best pictures of our group for us. I highly recommend this tour, even if you don't know the movies well. The views are unbeatable!

      Great value for tour
The Jungle Expedition tour we took was really quite stellar. Our guide Wonka did an excellent job providing a mix of information about Hawaiian culture, ranch history, and movie filming fun facts. We navigated some incredibly bumpy terrain which elevated the fun, and the rain that started partway through our tour only added to the experience. Wonka would stop & get out of the cab of the truck to make sure we could hear the narration which we appreciated! The small hike at the top to the lookout point of the Jurassic Valley made me cry it was so beautiful - a JP lovers dream come true.

      Amazing views and fun E-bike!
We had an amazing time on this tour! We ended up having a private tour just us and our guide Tarrin. The bikes were super easy to use and turbo mode was amazing for hills! Tarrin gave us so much interesting information and history about the area and the movies shot on the ranch. He really went above and beyond to help us take photos, answer questions and give us a good tour. Views are amazing !! Would definitely recommend

      No Protection When It Rains
Very disappointed with the Kualoa Ranch Ocean Voyage Tour today. About an hour before it was due to leave it began to rain. Really torrential stuff. We were surprised. that the tour went ahead but we were game (we had raincoats) -- until we got to the dock. The first of the two boats we were to get on had no canopy or covering -- meaning that we would have to sit outside in the deluge while we crossed to the other shore. There we would board another boat (offering limited indoor seating).. We told our tour leader that this wasn't acceptable for us and asked if there was any way to get back to the Visitors Center. She said no but we were able to catch a ride on a different bus. Kualoa is a beautiful property and the people who work there are friendly but they should provide protection when it rains! We spent over $100 for two tickets but weren't wiling to shiver in the downpour. We asked for a refund but were told no.

      Hawk Kua (Must Do!)
We had Tarrin as a guide and he was a joy. Knowledgeable and funny, he was very accommodating to everyone in the group. The ranch is just stunning scenery. It's hard to beat the natural beauty from the beach overlooks to the green mountains. It really feels like you're riding through Jurassic Park. The movie at props and such are very limited so temper expectations. Just lots of natural beauty. The e-bikes are the BEST tour type to select. You get more access, things go at the group's pace and you can spend time at each stop. They are also fun to ride and have an "easy mode" setting that makes biking accessible up most. There are height and weight restrictions so double check but they are made for most average humans. We've done many of the activities on the island and this is amazing. This is a MUST DO for tourists. You won't be disappointed if you seek scenery and adventure.

      Jurassic Park is real
Cannot recommend this tour enough!! Jamie was so knowledgeable and make our experience unforgettable. This was my second time out at the Ranch and first time on this tour and it is a MUST SEE for all my Jurassic Park enthusiasts. We got to see all the sites and she gave us ample time at each location for pictures (she’s also an awesome photographer if you not into the selfies). 10/10 must do

A MUST visit just for the views alone. If you are thinking of doing a tour (and are physically able of course) do not hesitate to do the ATV Raptor tour. It’s 100% worth every penny and 1000x better than the other tours, primarily because of how fun it is to drive and how much better of a route you take around the ranch because of how much smaller the raptors are compared to the big tour buses. My husband and I took one of the movie bus tours back in ‘19 and while it was cool... it was slow, super hot and you’re with a ton of other people. We just came back and did the raptor tour this time around and holy cow - not only does it feel more personal because of the smaller tour group but you’re way less hot and get to feel the breeze as you drive through these routes of some of the most breathtaking views of the island and the ocean.

We also freakin’ loved our tour guides this time around (Fallon & Moana) - they were hilarious, super attentive, helpful in getting awesome pictures for everyone and they told us more about the folklore of the island which I loved way more than just dry movie trivia. Mahalo to those two!

    Tips for raptor tour:
    1. Definitely bring something to cover your face, like a buff or a mask as it can get pretty dusty on the trail.
    2. Dress wisely (you’re gonna get dirty) + wear sunscreen. Would def recommend getting the earliest time possible for the tour as it gets hotter later in the day.
    3. Bring cash to tip your tour guides!

We had an amazing day at the ranch with Lilo & Stitch, Paulo. They were entertaining, informative and very pleasant. Our group agreed that it was one of the highlights from our visit to Hawaii and would highly recommend this experience. The views are breathtaking and being brought into the interior of the ranch provided a backdrop we have never seen before. Lunch after the tour was great and we were glad we stayed to have their delicious hamburgers.

We had to take the opportunity to on a private tour of the ranch. My husband wanted to drive his own UTV and I wanted the experience of a dedicated guide. Dom was our guide, guess who won? What a morning we had. He was so insightful, thoughtful, and full of knowledge we had a blast. Being the first tour out at 8:am was smart and with the jet lag we were up early anyway. Dom showed us around at our leisure but still on schedule and was an excellent photographer. Our 6 year old felt pretty cool. One thing I’d recommend is bringing a jacket or a rain coat as it does get cooler in the back part of the ranch. You can also go early and grab some food if you didn’t have time before. This young man knows the island, manners, culture and loves his job. He has a list of highlights he can air drop to your phone. I didn’t need to take notes about anything he was telling us what a thinker too!

I booked 11 people, all adults ages 21-65, for the ATV rides 4 months before I arrived in Oahu. ($1727.22) I specifically asked for 3 vehicles.
When we got there, the tour guide squished 6 in one ATV and 5 in the other. I tried to escalate the issue when they referred me to the ticket office. I even offered to pay more for the additional vehicle but they said that we could only have the two vehicles. There were 16 unattended ATV's sitting right next to us. There were also two other ATV's that went out with our group, (different family) and they only had 2 people in each of them. Although the ATV's have 6 seatbelts, it doesn't mean that 6 Adults can or should ride in the vehicle on those roads.
Our interest was driving the ATV's. That's why we didn't go on the tour bus.
All their pictures on the website show 2-4 people in the ATV. Why don't they show 6 smashed in?
    It was a ripoff.

Don’t waste your money. There is only one bus there and one bus back. It picks up early morning and drops off late afternoon. You spend most of the day waiting. The women at the ATV check in table were rude and dismissive. The ATV tour was not a tour. It was driving an ATV in a line around the ranch with no information provided about what you were seeing or the history of the ranch. There are three stops but only for brief minutes to take pictures. Again with no information provided about the ranch history, movies filmed there, etc. There is a small gallery that explains the history of the ranch if you happen to wander into it while waiting for your tour time. Our guide barely spoke except to explain how to start the ATV and how many stops we would be making. The “safety” guy in the rear of the line was the most helpful and informative. I would not recommend it nor will we return.

If you want to do this tour you need to book at least 2 months in advance because it will fill up if you wait! It's one of their most popular tours and during their busy season you won't get any last minute spots!

Sadly, I probably wouldn't do this tour again for a few reasons. Biggest reason would be the lack of information about the actual logistics of using the ATV. When we checked in, the girl asked in our group who the 2 drivers would be. And I was disappointed to find out that they only allow 2 drivers to operate the raptor. Therefore 1 adult in our group didn't get a chance to drive even though he paid the same $150 we did. I was also shocked to find a bachelor party that crammed 6 adults into 1 raptor. They are spacious, however when you go ATVing you definitely want to drive since you're paying the money to try it. So be strategic when booking! Next issue was the amount of dust! They provide a buff and safety glasses, however both were not enough form the amount of dust we inhaled. It almost should be a safety concern as all 3 adults had difficulty driving because we had so much dust in our eyes. Goggles should given to guests and not glasses!

The ATV ride itself was okay. The 2nd leg of the trail was probably the bumpiest but I didn't think the terrain was that rugged. We stopped about 4 times so the guides could talk story and allow guests to take photos. Also if you're looking for the movie set stops and a bit more narration as you go through the park then this is not the tour for you!

I wouldn't do this raptor ride again, especially after another experience at Kauai ATV tours. At Kauai ATVs we were given goggles, terrain was much rougher and more fun, and we could change drivers whenever we wanted with no limits. I was disappointed because of the limited drivers, trails, dust, and cost. To me, the experience did not match the price. However a few months ago I did go on their Jurassic Tour which I would hands down choose over the raptors. Jurassic tours was much more fun with the music, narration, and multiple movie stops with more ruggedness than I experienced on the ATVs.

We did the ride-along UTV tour. Overall, I would not recommend this experience. Although our tour guide was very nice, but he knew little about the property and provided questionable information on the history of Hawaii. We did not feel connected to the place at all. We were driven around in a vehicle, looking at a beautiful property, stopping for views and pictures, and moving on. The experience did not leave me feeling good about how my money was spent and you're better off driving around the island and taking in the views at your own pace. Although this property is gorgeous and has some of the most dramatic vistas in Oahu, I would spend my money elsewhere.

We took the private 3-hour UTV raptor tour. Our tour guide drove the vehicle and unlike the 2-hour tour where you ride in a caravan of UTVs, on the private tour you go alone with just your guide. We loved the tour - absolutely beautiful scenery with many scenic stops including ones off the beaten path. Our guide Marlito was very knowledgeable and friendly and went above and beyond to show us as much of the ranch and scenery as possible. He shared the history of the island and the ranch as well as cultural stories and legends. We were able to stop frequently to take photos of the scenery and Marlito welcomed all our questions. Many of the reviews mention getting dusty/muddy but that is not the case with the private tour and we returned from the tour clean. Gaiters were provided to cover the face from dust but were not necessary. When it started raining during our tour, Marlito offered us ponchos to wear. Highly recommend the tour to get the absolute best views of the valley and to learn about the islands and Hawaiian culture.

An absolute highlight during our stay. The tour really lasts 2 hours and you drive through a huge area. You can discover lots of film sets and there is plenty of time for photos as the guides always stop at the photo hotspots. It was pouring with rain when we were there and you can also buy rain ponchos there cheaply. Despite the rain, it was so incredibly fun. We would do it again and again as it was such a great experience.
Side fact: you always get your own UTV and don't have to drive with strangers. Your own family, group or as a couple just the two of you. We thought that was really cool too.

For the money, this excursion is not worth it. I gave it 3 stars because the scenery is beautiful. That being said, the $700+ that we paid for 5 of us for a 2 hour time period and the 3 stops that gave a minimal explanation of the movie sets and private pond were not something I would do again. I would say taking the big tour bus, where at least they are giving you information throughout the tour, would be a better experience.
