Stay away from this place, terrible service. Booked a ride for my girlfriend birthday; It was her first ever time on a horse! So when our group checks in I told them her special day, and they average experience of all the riders.(How she was excited and nervous for her first time and how i grew up riding) And how Could I bring my camera to film her on the ride. They said yes and then they said they try to make it special for her. And then we were split up... her at the back of our 4 person group, myself at the front. Every other couple (and this was an entire ride made of couples) got to ride together. Before we even set off and we were lining up I was brought up this up, and was told theres nothing they could do the animals need to be in this order, its about the riders weights and animals dispositions. Best they could do is maybe get us near each other for a photo mid ride. ( Photos being iphone snapshots that you had to pay extra for). Cue the next hour riding in a line with strangers in front and behind me.(Our group being her bestie and partner who I just met) And my girlfriend off by herself without an experienced rider to keep her company. When I again adressed this after the ride, I was told the above about horse disposition and carrying weight. So I brought up how the woman in front of me and behind me weigh within 10 pounds of my girlfriend I was then was told "Well you shoulda told us you were together." We were constantly canoodling, holding hands and told to stand in our respective groups as to not be split. Just given excuses and told its my fault, and their rules. Blah blah blah. Then HOW and why were we the only couple split up in a ride of 10-12 people? Lame excuses. JUST over all HorseSh*t experience. EXPENSIVE and zero costumer service.

These guys are amazing. The stories they tell and the animals are fabulous. We had a great time 😃 highly recommend !! Please visit if you are here looking for something fun to do.

I went on an advanced trail ride with Bridget as my guide and I rode Remi, it was such a good experience! Bridget was so knowledgeable and Remi was just the sweetest, we were able to trot and canter and I had so much fun. The ranch was beautiful and the lookout points had gorgeous views. The ranch was easy to get to, and they have a little petting zoo as well. I really recommend Gunstock ranch if you want to go horse riding on Oahu!

We had a great experience. We did the private couples ride with lunch. Our guide, Summer, was knowledgeable and personable. The facilities and the animals were well cared for and clean. The views were unbelievable. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Oahu. It was windy at the picnic site making it challenging to eat while policing the table cloth and trash from lunch. I think a plastic clip for the table cloth would have helped a lot!

Amazing experience! All the ladies on the ranch were super helpful. Heather, our guide, was so nice and we felt comfortable with her. The horses are all super trained and lovely. Would come here again! Thanks!

The views are amazing. My husband and I had the pleasure of riding Buckles and Joey. Heather was our guide and was professional and knowledgeable. Definitely an amazing trip.

This was a magical event for my Mom's 80th Bday! We had 15 people and did the Sunset Dinner Ride and it did not disappoint. The guides were wonderful, and the dinner was super yummy. The view from dinner was spectacular. It was a very special ride, one that we will always remember.......

This is a must-do on Oahu. True Paniolo Ohana, no tourist gimmicks. I'd do it again, and don't miss the hamburger from the locally grown beef cattle!

We had a great experience here. We checked about the horses welfare before we booked, and were satisfied that the horses are very well cared for, which was obvious upon arrival. There is a weight limit and you are required to weigh when you arrive, but again I believe this is for safeguarding of the horses. I was just under the weight limit, so on the bigger side, but did not feel embarrassed and understood the reasons for this. The rangers shared their knowledge of the horses and the ranch itself, and were all very friendly. They were happy to take photos on our phones, as well as the pictures they were taking to sell. The views were great, unfortunately the sun did not play ball for us but we saw some lovely sights all the same. I was glad we chose this ranch for our horseback ride.

Beautiful views and the wranglers were super nice and friendly. Loved my horse Joey, he gave me no problems and listened to my commands. Would totally recommend for a nice chill excursion.

We loved our 90 minute scenic horseback ride. The horses were obviously well cared for, and everyone we encountered at the ranch was cheerful and helpful. Our guides, Beth and Addie were fantastic - personable, informative, great sense of humor, and attentive to safety. And the scenery is great!

My family and I have been coming here for years, and it’s always been a wonderful experience! The horses are very well cared for, the wranglers clearly know their stuff. Last time I went, I was on the 1 1/5 hour ride with Beth and Addie. Both were amazingly sweet, funny, and skilled. My horse, Dora, was also one of the best behaved horses I’ve ever been on. Highly recommend, even if you’re not a skilled horse rider, the scenic rides are easy and beautiful, and a wonderful experience no matter your level.

Took the 1.5 hour horseback tour and loved every minute. Postcard-perfect visuals, friendly tour guide, and a friendly horse named Freddie. Highly recommended for first-time horseback riders.
