The surf instructors were phenomenal! Matt and Roland were so patient with our family of five ensuring we all knew what we were doing, we had a great time and got up on the board several times! We had an 8 and a 10 year old in our group and I have to say they went out of their way to ensure the kids were safe and had a great time. Very easy to follow instructions to get to our meeting place and very reasonable prices on photos and videos. Would definitely recommend and would use again!

Whole company is so friendly, even the clients. They took the time to call me by name and did everything possible to make this a great experience. So encouraging out in the water, with lots of affirmation and hands on assistance. Kevin was a competent and patient coach and fun to be around, like the whole staff. Thank you!

Great service. Picked us up when they said without any problems. Instructors were so chill and easy going. I was new to surfing and had an amazing time. Was safe and they had a great rotation to make sure everyone got waves. They take videos and photos so you can decide to buy those after. Overall would totally recommend for anyone trying to have a good time surfing for the first time.

To 120% I can recommand the 1 on 1 Private Surf lesson. All the money was worth it! I really enjoyed my lesson and my surf instructor Roland was amazing! He gave me a lot of tips and helped me to get all the good waves. Everything was good organized. I loved the spot at Waikiki Beach and the photos and videos that are taken of me look so cool.

This was some of the most fun we had on our whole trip! We were all able to catch a wave. Our instructors were the best! They made it so easy for us and they were so encouraging. What a great time!

The lesson was amazing. All 4 of us were able to get up. Kevin was great for my son, my wife and I. My daughter had a tandem lesson and was able to get up almost every time.

Had Kevin take me out for a body boarding lesson. Best experience of my vacation. Once he taught me the basics we pretty much took turns catching waves so he could video me. Can't say enough good things about this instructor, would recommend him to anyone.

Jacob is an amazing surf instructor. My son loved him so much back in June that he couldn't wait to come back. Always a great experience. Thank you!

The instructors are attentive , caring and really good at coaching the skills! They want you to succeed and have fun!! Love this group!! Will come back again and again!!!!

The Ohana Surf Project private lesson was a positive experience for our 14yr old. His coach gave him multiple opportunities to successfully ride the waves. They chatted during the lull between waves and developed an easy connection. He was reluctant going in since he had not surfed before. His previous experience has been with standup paddle boarding, which helped. Thanks to OSP for having knowledgable and personable instructors.

Excellent experience! Kevin and Jake were super instructors and lots of fun. The pre-surfing informational session was a bit confusing but it all became clear once we hit the beach. Everyone in our party (ages 59-24) was able to stand up on the boards, almost immediately. It is hard work, however. Lots of stress on your neck when paddling out. Kevin and Jake were kind enough to tow some of us out from time to time. The water is shallow (we could stand) - no real fear of sharks. There are people in the water taking pictures and videos, for purchase. Totally worth the purchase! My whole family really had a great time!

Very well organized operation. We were picked up at our hotel on time and shuttled to the Ohana office where the my son was fitted with a rash resistant shirt and water shoes. The parents were then shuttled down to the beach. The students traveled in a separate shuttle that looked like a school bus. Nice touch. At the beach they started with ground school and quickly hit the water. They spent almost two hours on the water. Our son thought his instructor was great. A shout out to Jupiter. She was a great surfer and she taught our son well. At the end of the lesson, the parents were shuttled back to the office and again the students came on the school bus. Back at the shop we had a chance to look at the pictures and videos that were taken from staff on the water with the students. We opted to buy all the pics and videos that were taken. Got almost a hundred pics and a dozen videos. The photo package was $45. Great deal for what we got. Highly recommend the private lesson. Not much more expensive than the group lesson. Overall a great operation and I highly recommend these folks.

The experience was very smooth. I had a knowledgeable instructor. This was my second time surfing, and I feel more confident standing on the surf board than before. The surf sleeve (long sleeve tshirt) that was loaned to me smelled kind of funky...I guess that's the ocean smell ? Thank you Jake for a solid lesson, Mahalo :)

We’ve been to Oahu many times but our kids were smaller and we were occupied with filling our days with other activities. This time we decided now that the kids are grown 17 & 22 we would try surfing. We had such a great family experience with this excursion. There’s really no complaints. Instructors were very helpful, shout out to Matt and Chelsea they really made sure to keep our family together and create a unique experience. The video and photos were amazing. We have 100+ combined of both for around $100 and the quality is great! Thanks for their patience as we navigated this new activity.
