We booked a group lesson of 6 people. Our instructors were Suzy and Skylar and they were such amazing people. They were so kind and super helpful able to get us all up and surfing. They took wonderful photos of us and they showed us a fresh water rover to rinse off. They have everything you need just bring yourself and suits. Highly recommend them as surfing instructors. :)

What a wonderful day! Our guide Caleb was great and took us to two spots where we spotted and swam with green sea turtles! He was knowledgeable about the island and local history and our family made some wonderful memories! Booking was easy and communication was great, we appreciated the confirmation and info sent out the evening before. Would definitely book with them again!

The best part of our trip was meeting our surf instructor Mike. He was a lot of fun to learn how to surf with. He had the right tips to get us both up and surfing. Despite the crappy weather we had a blast and even saw sea turtles surfing with us. Mike really worked hard, helping me paddle out and get in the right spot, making sure I was doing all the right things to get up. This made our trip that much more fun! Thanks again Mike!!!

Very good time. Johnny was great as an instructor. Two hours is enough time, but not too much time to learn and enjoy. Highly recommend for beginners.

We booked surfing lessons with Sunset Suzy. Our kids 8 and 6 had so much fun! Thank you, we'll definitely remember this.

Suzy was feeling under the weather so we didn’t get her as an instructor which I understand! Instead we got jimmy who was very nice always talking and creating conversation, was a great teacher and he got us standing up on our boards and riding waves! All in all had an amazing time and found out after the lesson that a guy documented the whole thing so we could have some memories to cherish forever! Would definitely get another lesson from them!

Suzi did her best to coordinate the date, and the lesson experience was awesome! I highly recommend it!

Our 10 year old son went out today for a private lesson with Chad. Suzy texted us the night before to confirm, Chad called us morning of, to introduce himself and give directions. Both Suzy and Chad are very nice, professional people. My son loved the lesson (first time surfing!), Chad obviously loves his job, knows what he is doing and enjoys teaching children. I will refer my friends and family to Sunsetsuzy! Thanks guys!!

We had 4 boys, 17,13,8,6 and booked semi private lessons for them. They all said this was the best part of their trip!! The little ones caught on quick. Instructors Chad and Chance did a great job with them and were a good balance with all the ages. The location was awesome, plenty of viewing areas as parents with either shade or sun. We traveled from Australia to take our first surf lessons with Suzy! Location was fantastic. Our ten year old boy was able to learn more advanced waves, while our 7 year old was able to learn in the quieter section. Good viewing location for mum and dad to take pictures from the shore. Instructors were patient and worked hard to paddle the boys to good waves. Truly, the highlight of our trip. So grateful that Suzy and her crew offers this sort of experience! As our 7yr old said, "Hang Ten, Dude"

We had a great experience learning to surf with Brittany! My 6 year old son and I were able to easily ride the waves with her guidance!

Myself and two friends decided last minute to book a surf lesson with you guys and it was amazing! Chad was the best instructor we could have hoped for.. we all stood and rode waves and none of us have ever surfed before. He really had his work cut out for him with three girls from NY and he was just THE BEST. If we had more time we would be taking another lesson for sure. We're telling everyone about you guys and can't wait to hopefully get back here again for more surfing fun in the future. Mahalo!!

My husband and I had a private lesson with Chad today. Suzy met us down at the beach and got us sorted while Chad took us for the lesson. we had an amazing time learning to surf, successfully! The time went so quick. We even saw a couple sea turtles out there! recommend these guys 100% and we will come back for another lesson next time we visit. I do suggest buying your own reef shoes and taking them with you so they fit properly. Suzy was wonderful and sourced us a pair to borrow but I have toddler sized feet so they were massive on me. I ended up ditching the reef shoes. I didn't have any issues with walking on the reef personally as I have tough feet but others may not be able to. We booked through a third party app and they were quick at getting in contact with us to ensure we had the right directions etc. They even called us the morning of to let us know what we needed etc. Mahalo!
