Hunter, our guide and the owner of the company is a delightful young woman. She asked us about our interests and planned a perfect day. Going on a private tour, if you can afford it, means spending as much time as you want every place you go, and only going to the places you want to see. Going with this company on a day tour will greatly enhance your vacation.

We took a North Shore tour with Hunter and it was fantastic -- she is a great host, very knowledgeable but also very relaxed and easy to be with. We didn't really know what we wanted to do but she knows all the great places and seeing some of the amazing surfing beaches was the highlight of the entire trip for me. Just stunning. Hunter really listens and has a great sense of humour too, all four of us thought she was delightful and our day-long tour was a huge treat. Highly recommend! Thank you Hunter.

We had an amazing experience with Hunter on our customized tour. She knew all of the "must see" places and kept everyone engaged and entertained. We were able to do and see everything on our list and we are so grateful to Hunter for making our adventure special and memorable. We cant wait to book again to cover the southern end of Oahu. Mahalo Hunter, 5 stars!!

Our family of three which included our eleven year old son booked a tour with Nau Wale No Tours for December 27, 2014 as we were visiting Oahu via cruise ship and wanted something different from the big bus tours normally associated with excursions offered on board. The service we received from when we first booked right through the tour itself was outstanding!
Hilton met us right near the pier and immediately took the time to review what we had discussed previously when booking with the company as things we wanted to see and do while there. Hilton is very easy going and makes you feel at ease very quickly. He truly wants you to have the island experience you envisioned. He also has a unique ability to suggest some activities that will add to your experience...trust him when he asks if you would like to see something or make a quick stop. We got everything in we wanted to and so much more. Hilton is very knowledgeable and passionate about all the islands and his energy and enthusiasm is contagious !
We all loved our day with Hilton, we never felt rushed and really appreciated the extra effort he put in. If you are visiting Oahu by ship or by plane and want a tour that is custom fitted to what you want without all the crowds....this is exactly want you want. We had booked this tour months prior to our arrival on our cruise to Hawaii. We had been somewhat disappointed with our previous tour of Oahu a few years back when we booked with the cruise line excursion. Not that it was bad but this tour was so much better.
We booked a ten hour tour when our cruise ship docked on Oct 10th and Che was our tour guide. We could not have been happier with Che as he was entertaining, very knowledgeable and had our best interests in mind when he took us to so many amazing places.
We had asked to see a few things ahead of time which we did but he also filled our day with so many things we know we never would have done our seen with a large tour group. Do yourself a favour, when Che recommends somewhere to stop our something to do, take him up on it, you will not be disappointed. My wife is still talking about the swing on the side of the mountain.
Ask him to take to eat where the locals hang out and you will get some amazing food. Take a step further and treat these guys to lunch, they are working hard to make your day fun.
Amazing scenery, hiking, beaches….we had it all with a great finish to the day watching surfers on the big waves at Pipeline.
Che was an awesome guide, no pressure, let us stay as long as we wanted in each stop and gave us fantastic history of each place we visited. It felt like we had known him for a long time and were out for the day with a good friend.
This tour was worth every penny, for a lifetime of memories of Oahu. We will be calling them again when we return.

I can't say enough about this company and A.J. our guide. I found this tour company on TripAdvisor and contacted them in February. They were most helpful in planning our day trip around the island. We had been to Oahu the year before and had taken a couple of organized bus tours. After asking what we had seen previously they came up with a great day for us. We were met by A.J. promptly at the arranged pick-up time at our hotel, and off we went . One of the places on my list was Schofield Barracks to see a memorial which included the name of my late fiance (part of the 25th Infantry who was KIA in Vietnam - we met in Hawaii) and A.J. allowed me time to visit the memorial without me feeling rushed. We then drove to Haleiwa and sat outside the Aloha General Store eating shave ice (our first time to enjoy this treat). Lunch came later at a shrimp truck (as we wanted to eat where local do - not a tourist place). A.J. then drove us up Pupakea Road (a winding dirt road with a deep gulley on one side - glad she was driving!). We saw spectaclar scenery from the ruins of an ancient temple at the end of the road. Then it was off to the Byodo-In Temple at the Valley of the Temples. Never did we feel rushed and on a time schedule. A.J. was fantastic. Her knowledge of the island was great and she told me so many things that I didn't know about the places we were visiting. I can't say enough about her - she was the best guide we have ever had and we've done private tours before on other vacations. I had taken my 89-year old father with me to Oahu and he has memory problems. She was so kind to him - helping him in and out of the van, answering his questions, and making him feel special. When the tour was over, it was hugs all around. She became a friend, not just our tour guide. I would heartily recommend this tour company to anyone who wants to see and do things that other tour companies don't go to. Be an active partner in the planning process and have one of the best days of your vacation. We sure did!!!

We took a private tour with Nau Wale No because of a referral from a friend. I'm so glad we did! We had no idea how different the rest of the island was from Waikiki. We hiked through bamboo to a waterfall, stopped at scenic lookouts, and swam in turquoise waters. I recommend taking a tour during the beginning of your trip. We got lots of tips from our guide and found many places we wanted to return to. All in all a fantastic way to see the island!

A personalised tour of Oahu for 3, including my elderly mother. We were picked up by Che our driver and tour guide. He was very knowledgable on the history of the area. As my mother could not walk very far our tour was highly tailored to suit her needs. We started with a fantastic views over the city and the island from Tantalus A swim in the sea at Lanikai beach where Che even assisted us to get Mum into the sea for her first ocean swim in 15 years!! As we wove our way around the island, Che entertained us with his repartee and his wonderful dialog. We had requested a final destination to watch the sunset at Turtle Bay resort. Gin and tonic in hand we found the perfect way to end our day. Have some great photos as well.
Whilst not inexpensive, the quality of the experience, the companionship of Che and the delights of Oahu made this tour a highlight of our time in Honolulu. Worth every cent.

We did a round island tour with Alexis and had a great experience. We didn't want anything touristy nor hire a car during our stay. She fitted the tour around our likes and what we wanted to see. We went mostly with her suggestions. Had a great lunch at a local a bakery on the north shore, visited beaches, lookouts and local ruins as well as the Stadium markets. The best part however was stopping at a local beach to watch and snorkel with the protected green turtles. This wasn't planned but a great suggestion by Alexis. We did not feel rushed and everything was accommodated. Alexis was so easy to talk to and would highly recommend her and the company to anyone interested in doing a more tailored trip around the island.
On my return, I found they didn’t have the correct documentation to operate a business at the time of our tour. The owner advised me it was ‘administration errors’. I wish I had known this before selecting this company.

We are glad that you had such an enjoyable tour! We would like all our guests to know that our business is completly legal: We have a Hawai'i Business License, PUC (tour license), all the required insurance, and pay our taxes. This information is free to the public to see on the Hawai'i government websites and we would be more than happy to show the hard copy of these materials to any guest that would like to see it!

Nau Wale No Tours was recommended to us by a friend. What a great steer. We did a fantastic 6 hour tour today focusing primarily on the Southeast Coast, Eastern shore and Nuʻuanu Pali Lookout. Ryan took us to some terrific spots that were way off the beaten path. We never would have found these spectacular places on our own. We also stopped at Hibachi Market in Kailua for some amazing poke. Make sure you take time to enjoy some of Hawaii’s great food.
Do yourself a favor and see the roads less traveled. Highly recommend the company and our tour guide Ryan.

Sorry to answer so late but there were three of us and we did the private tour. A little more expensive than if you shared but we could choose where we went and for how long we were there. It was well worth it for us and the guide was amazing

We arrive on a cruise ship and can leave the ship by 8. There would be four of us. We are not interested in the Arizona as we have been there. We would like to see the what you feel are the most notable sights and cultural stops. We are not shoppers at all. WE would like to know your itinerary for our group. What would a tour include for an older couple wanting to see the North Shore, Bellows, a plantation, etc? How long? We will be at the Aulani

We are cruising and have a port of call in Honolulu, Oahu on Thursday 11th October and would be interested to know what tours would be suitable. We would have to consider that all aboard will likely be 4pm.
