Our guide Johnny was great and best sport fishing trip I've been on. Caught 2 mahi mahi and 3 nice Ohno. One was 40lbs. The only downside be aware if it's 45 min to the good fishing it will be 2hours rough boat ride back in.

Great fun, nice staff. Overall, it was a really fun activity. Time flies, but it feels that you have the right amount of time on the scooter. While you wait for your turn, or even after, you can swim or snorkel (goggles and fins are there for you, free of charge) We really recommend the tour. Absolutely worth the money

This was an awesome experience! So unique and we saw turtles and got to feed beautiful fish. Crew was fantastic! Super friendly and helpful. We had a few elderly folks on our tour and they were extremely patient and polite. Highly recommend! One note, you do have to buy photos if you want them but we thought it was worth it to remember the fun.

It was by far the greatest experience I've ever had regarding any water tour event! Staff was awesome, I'm looking fwd to doing this again when I return. I wish u had the option too do it again, at a reduced price, while on board. I certainly would have done it again. Thanks for the great day! 🤙🏾

They only have around 10 scooters and have about 50 people on board so 1.5hrs of waiting for your turn and 15 mins under the water. Great experience but the wait was way too long. Perhaps try not to overbook if you only have 10 scooters

Such an incredible experience! The staff are super patient and compassionate. This activity was a bit scary for someone like me, I'm not a great swimmer and I also have a panic disorder but the divers who accompanied me were so sweet and understanding, walked me through the whole process and checking on me the entire time. I strongly would recommend anyone do this activity, it's a once in a lifetime experience that my daughter and I will never forget.

This was sooooo much fun! I can’t swim but the tour guide and divers made me feel safe. The pictures and videos were clear and a great value as well.

This was our first time doing the Submarine Scooters and although it was a lot of fun the water was very choppy and as a result my daughter and myself got sea sick pretty bad. Also doing the Submarine Scooter can be a bit nerve racking, especially for small kids because you have to dunk your whole head under water and swim into the dome. But once you're in the dome the scooter is a blast and the staff is super helpful and friendly also. If I did it again, I would definitely take sea sickness pills the night before and the morning of also. One couple didn't even get to ride the scooter because they were so sea sick they spent the entire time at the back of the boat throwing up. I felt so bad for them. The water was so choppy it was too difficult for my family to snorkel while we waited for the other people to take their turns on the scooter so we just sat on the boat fighting through the sea sickness. Luckily our family went first so when we went into the dome of the scooter we weren't too sea sick yet. But once we got out, my daughter had to toss her cookies as they say and she was not happy at all. So take your sea sickness pills if you need them and you should have a blast.

They made this non swimmer feel at ease. Our whole family loved it 3wks later and we're still talking about it. We diffently do it again.

We booked a fishing charter with Captain John. We had a great time and caught one of the biggest Wahoo's (Ono's) Captain John had ever taken in the boat. He was friendly and attended to every need. Fish catch custom's are different than anywhere I'd taken fishing charters before. Island Water Sports filleted our fish for a small fee and we took home many meals of fish. Do check that wherever you book a fishing charter in Hawaii if that is something that interests you. Will book again when we come back.

Island Water Sports Hawaii is a family owned and operated company in Oahu, and they surely treat you as family. The captain and the entire crew are amazing and provide a fantastic and truly memorable experience. They take one-on-one care of every participant, with competent confidence and great patience. Each participant has their own diver guide. It is especially suited for non-divers, non-snorkelers, you don't even have to know how to swim. The sub scooters are safe and steady and offer a unique subaquatic experience and encounter with tropical fish, turtles, and whatever may visit during your underwater time. I've done similar scooter adventures in other locations and was disappointed in this one. Previously, the tour operator would have a scuba diver swim in front of the group and guide the scooters in a specific area. When I first got into this scooter, there was no one or nothing in sight. I could not see other scooters, the boat or any of the divers so I was completely disoriented. I saw a lot of fish because they have a chain bag with bread or fish food in it that attracts the fish near you. Also, they had 10 scooters and 30 guests and we were in the last group, so it seemed like a long wait. We did some snorkeling during that time, but the waters were rough and there was a significant current, so even the snorkeling wasn't very pleasant. I wouldn't take this tour again unless they had a scuba diver actually guiding the group around so they would see something.

Amazing experience. Tour guides were very helpful and friendly. The area and water are magical. I cannot stress enough how great and serene the experience is but …. We signed up for a dolphin experience and there were decide rly no dolphins. There were fish and turtles but no dolphins. I don’t know how it works but I’d you title your excursion dolphins there should be dolphins
