        Sunset Memories
My son and I were lucky enough to get tickets the same day. We stayed in Hilo, so we drove 1.5 hours for this tour. It was worth it! Seeing the island from the water off shore offers a totally different perspective. The captain and crew were friendly and helpful. The drinks, snacks, food and reggae music offered a lovely ambiance. It made our last day on the island a special memory.

Warm May Day with calm waters
All three guys running the boat were knowledgeable about the process slabs and the west side where we’re going. Asked us if we had questions and very friendly. We found schools of sleeping dolphins and even though they weren’t too close it was fun spotting them a little ways from the boat. We did see a couple of turtles from the boat too. Our guide saw a turtle and man o war in the water but we couldn’t catch up to the group in time. Breakfast was a little fruit and biscuit, lunch on the way back was a turkey wrap and chips, two drink tokens and ice water available anytime. We got great weather, learned about the history of this part of the island and were well taken care of. Looking forward to booking again.

Hilton turtle canyon snorkel was worth doing.
This was a fun Excursion. Saw lots of fish, hundreds in a school. Large, beautiful, bright colored fish. A few turtles were there, too. Water was a very blue color, but a slight bit murkey. Could see clearly about 10 yards or so. Fun boat ride, as well. Waves were a rolling 2 to 3 feet. 1 or 2 people were feeling it, but, the other 30 people had a great boat ride.

        Amazing views and Crew
Captain Michael and the Crew were very welcoming and our family had a great experience on our afternoon sailing. The dolphins at the end of the trip made our day!

        Good fun
I was one of 8 people at the back of the boat vomiting and defecating overboard. It was so rough and I showed up plastered. My bad.

This was such a great sunset cruise! We had a great time! The crew was awesome and very attentive. We did get to see a few whales at a distance. It was definitely top 3 of my favorite highlights from our week vacation in Kona!

        Amazing Sunset
The crew was awesome and fun! Great vibe - food and drinks were great and we even saw whales. The captain had us facing the sunset to take it all in - wonderful time and recommend for kids and adults.

The captain was thorough in explaining rules and safety measures but his young crew was very rude. We went with a group of friends and it was our first time snorkeling. We saw fish and turtles. The crew was made up of 2 young men and 2 women. One of the guys of the crew told my overweight friend, “if you don’t drown, I’ll buy you a double double.” Which was extremely discouraging for him and he didn’t go on the tour to get body shamed. And the 2 women crew members were both named “Nataly”. The Nataly with the curly blonde hair was very sarcastic and ill mannered. When a member of another party and myself were asking for further clarification and tips on how to successfully snorkel she responded with dismissing comments. I.e. We asked if the snorkel gear had to be a proper fit or breathing tips and she responded with “you just do it”. Very disappointed that we wasted our money on this tour, we should’ve went with a different company that had a smaller crowd and more beautiful waters. There are other options on the island. I don’t know how they have good reviews.

The crew was very nice and the boat was adequate but we did not see any turtles. The water was so cloudy that nothing could be seen. There were 5 other boats anchored in the same area as our boat and as a result it was very crowded in the water. It was so crowded that I got kicked in the head several times. One disappointing thing was that when I went to get my snorkel and mask they had run out and offered me a kid's mask and snorkel. It was quite expensive and I think you could get better value for your money doing something else. The crew was very cautious about safety and seemed to keep an eye on our group the whole time which, of course, was a good thing.

...Just not really our kind of fun. The music on the boat was really loud, so my head was hurting half the time. Everyone else seemed to be having fun, so I think that was more of a "me" problem.

The drinks were fine, but I really wish I hadn't had one before snorkeling. I threw up several times in the water. Other than that, the snorkeling itself was fun and the spot was amazing! I also really appreciate how great the crew was at making sure I was comfortable after I hurled in the water (reassuring me that I was feeding the fishies and shouldn't feel bad) and checking up on me throughout the rest of the ride! I wasn't the worst off on the boat (and handful of other people puked), but I still wasn't able to eat my lunch wrap. That part was kind of a relief because I tried one bite and it was pretty awful...

Next time, I would personally opt for a shorter ride to save money and focus more on the snorkeling (and less on the cruise aspect). We spent most of the time on the boat with the music. If you're into that, the experience can be fun and many people enjoyed themselves. However, be mindful of seasickness. I thought for sure I was safe because the boat ride didn't bother me, but a handful of us got suddenly nauseous in the water.

They took us out to turtle canyon, where the turtles are supposed to be at any given time. There were two other catamarans out there and a private boat, each with their own people crammed in the same 100'x100' water. This tour had us wear life preservers and we were required to stay in a tight area with everyone- there were maybe 25 from our own boat tour. We did see one turtle, but sharing viewing of that turtle with the 70+ people in the area was difficult. We weren't allowed to keep our faces down in the water for very long, and our time out there was short. The trip to and from certainly doubled the amount of time we spent in the water. The food was basically sack lunches, little variety and didn't follow any of our food preferences they specifically asked for before departure. They had an open bar, which would've made up for the food if it wasn't just beer and watered down margaritas.

All in all, we didn't like being babysat, especially after signing a waiver, and we saw more turtles just swimming in different parts of the island on our own. We saw the turtles close up on our own as well. It was quite a lot of money to get cheap food, drinks, and a glimpse at the majestic animals that clearly can be seen anywhere else for free.

If you aren't planning on seeing different parts of the island, you aren't a good swimmer, you have money to throw out into the sea, you loved being crowded in the water, and you like boat rides more than the water, this is your activity. If you dislike most of what I described, rent a car from the Turo app and drive to North Shore to see a turtle or five for yourself. You'll save $125/ person.

We had a terrific experience on this cruise. We thought it would be a typical snorkel cruise but we were in for a wonderful surprise! The crew was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about Hawaii and the marine life..not in a lecture but in an interesting , conversational manner.

We felt safe with our 11 year old son and there were a few families with much smaller children. We even had the beautiful sail up for added fun!

When we got to the snorkeling spot, the crew was very conscientious about safety and allowing each passenger to enjoy the trip in the way they were mist comfortable. We saw a variety of different fish and two large turtles.

After the snorkeling we had a box lunch and the crew served beverages…even fun mock tail for the kids.

The captain slowed our sail back as he saw some whale activity. And was it ever!! We saw three whales…a baby included! We watched them play, surface, dive and then they were joined by spinner dolphins! It was incredible and the crew explained the activity and fun details about what we were seeing.

This was a terrific excursion which I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Oahu!

The actual snorkel time is barely 20-30 mins. They spend over 45 mins just cruising out in ocean, just to come right back to within a mile or less from Waikiki beach for the snorkeling area. While this tour may be ok for adults with experience, I would not recommend this for families. Plus the crew were not nice, downright unprofessional. This was even acknowledged by the office, who I called to provide feedback to. Twice I called, twice they said they will investigate and get back, but nothing yet after 4 days.
We had a bad experience, where both my wife and child could not get the snorkeling experience. And this for the boy who had his birthday the next day and this was his special present. Before going into the water, the crew told us they will help us with gear or if water goes into mouth while snorkeling. But they did not reveal that if they help us, they will call it "rescue" and block us from going back in the water. My son is a good swimmer, but as a first time snorkeler, got water in his mouth and struggled. In open water we couldn't keep track of him but were definitely within 10 ft. The help they provided was termed "rescue" and crew told my wife that we "abandoned the child". Later on, when offboarding, one crew member said "hope you don't lose the child in Waikiki". How courteous is that!

Never recommending this company again to anyone.

Fun experience. As someone who isn't a strong swimmer, I felt reassured with the life vests, though the deep water and waves made me feel intimidated at times. Saw lots of fish and a few turtles, the guides were very helpful in pointing them out. I just wish I was able to get some pictures of our underwater friends, especially the turtles (i had a waterproof phone case, but was a little paranoid to use it because someone I know recently got a ton of water in her waterproof case and ruined her phone, couldn't take the chance). Also, with COVID, this was the largest activity we took part in on our vacation (our group had about 20 people). But we felt safe- everyone had their masks on prior to snorkeling, life vests are sanitized, plenty of room on the boat to spread out,, and we had to wash our hands prior to boarding. I felt this experience was a little pricey, but its one of those "once in a lifetime experiences", so I guess that's ok right? Also, alcohol included on board at no additional cost, can't beat that!

We were scheduled for an 11:00 tour and received a text two days before reminding us where to go. Shortly thereafter, I received another text to change that because they would be picking us up at the hotel at 10:15 rather than us going to the pier on our own. I replied to the text with a request for confirmation that they would be picking us up. The response was Yes. We got to the bus stop early and when the bus was 5 minutes late, I called the number and gave them my name. They said the bus was running a little late. Ten minutes later, same thing. I call, give them my name and they say the bus is late, but just wait. 10 minutes later, I call and the person that answers must actually look up my name this time and says I don’t have bus service on my trip. By that time, it’s too late for me to catch a taxi and get to the pier before the boat leaves. If they had actually looked up my name when they asked for it either of the first two times I called, I could have arranged my own transportation in time.

I would give 0 stars for the event! They set sail even when they knew they were sailing us into a storm. We sat in the rain for the entire 2.5 hours because there was not enough room to get inside under cover. We were then told that we wouldn’t be snorkeling due to rain run off and we could get staph infections which was know before we set sail because it had been raining for 9 days. Captain Flynn came out and said we would be getting a full refund. However, when the travel agent contacted them they said we did two of the three activities. No activities that we booked were completed. They gave us a box wrap lunch after putting us in that danger!!! This company is a sham! Do not book with them!!!
