Our mermaid morning experience was the highlight of our trip to Maui. If you're on the fence about booking- just do it! It was 100 times better than we ever could have imagined!

I had the best morning ever with Aqua! I had looked forward to this mermaid experience for awhile and I highly recommend maui mermaid school. I felt so safe in the water, the area we swam in was calm and protected with perfect turquoise water and many turtles too! This is really an amazing experience and my husband had a blast snorkeling alongside me. Thank you, cant wait until next time!

We took our 4 year old to meet the beautiful mermaid Aqua today. She was so accommodating and magical! Extremely kind and engaging with our little one who was in absolute heaven chatting, drawing in the sand, and learning about mermaid life! I have no doubt that she will remember this experience forever. She didn’t want to leave her and she excitedly proclaimed that it was “the best day of her life!” Highly recommend this experience.

What an experience! After having dreamed of being a mermaid for most of my life, actually getting to put a tail on and swim in the beautiful ocean waters of Maui was beyond wish fulfilling. Aqua is a patient and supportive teacher who will cheer you on every step of the way. Her knowledge of the area meant she knew the water conditions well and what animals are around. As a professional mermaid and PADI certified mermaid instructor, safety is her #1 concern and she knows what to keep an eye out for. And the PICTURES. Oh my gosh, if you want to feel beautiful and empowered, you will love the pictures. If you’ve always dreamed of being a mermaid, there’s no better Mer to have swimming by your side.

Aqua was an amazing mermaid, she was encouraging, I felt safe and beautiful. She knew how to make me feel comfortable while she took pictures while on shore and in the water. I was celebrating my 60th birthday and I’ve never felt overly graceful or alluring and I felt both that day I was a mermaid with Aqua’s help. It was such an amazing experience that I now own my own minion and hope to buy a mermaid tail someday.

What fun we had as mermaids! My daughter didn’t want to do it by herself and I was a little hestiant to ‘become a mermaid’ but we had an amazing time!!! We swam with turtles and fish and had so much fun!

I was unsure about doing this at first, being a 37 year old woman, but figured why not embrace my inner child. I was completely blown away with how attentive Aqua was! She brought all the tails and helped us choose the ones that would look best. She was very informative and patient helping us into the tails, posing us for pictures, and teaching us to swim with a monofin - she even taught us how to do flips under water! I was also really impressed with how she handled someone being creepy towards my friend - very professional but firm. I would absolutely do this again! Thanks, Aqua! ~Siren

My daughter (14) and her teenaged uncle (16) tried this Mermaid Adventure today. My daughter was nervous because there was other people around watching but after meeting Aqua she quickly relaxed and had fun. She was even showing off her tail and swimming skills to the others at the beach by the end. I think this is such a unique and self-esteem boosting activity that many will enjoy. The pictures we got at the end are amazing. Aqua was so kind and welcoming, you can’t help but feel happy around her. This ended up being both their favourite experience on Maui. Great for kids and adults of all shapes and sizes. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed! Will never forget it.

We couldn’t be more pleased with our daughter’s experience at Mermaid School with her teacher Aqua. From our first moments meeting her, Aqua helped our nervous 11 year old feel at ease. Aqua was friendly, informative and fun. She took her time explaining each step of the tail and swimming process and provided numerous mermaid facts, which our daughter shared with us throughout our trip. Thank you for making our Maui trip so memorable.

Aqua was incredible, and made us feel extremely safe, comfortable and confident! I would recommend this to anyone, we had so much fun!

This was a dream come true! Aqua was such a kind and supportive instructor. She really made everyone feel so beautiful on land and in the water. You get so many good quality photos on the beach and underwater and because Aqua does the recording you can just enjoy the experience and that is priceless. She is very knowledgeable and will reach you about breath work and Mermaiding as a sport! The Bay is beautiful and I can not recommend this enough. 10/10 must do while in Maui. You won’t regret it.

Our girls absolutely loved the mermaid experience. They felt and looked like real life mermaids. This definitely was worth it. Thank you Aqua Lilly for a lifetime memory I’m sure they will never forget.

Aqua is AWESOME! From booking to the actual photo shoot, she stayed in contact with me. She was helpful in choosing my “tail”, and lettting me know what to expect. I had such a good time making memories with Aqua. She made this 52 year old Grandmother feel beautiful!
