Never kitesurfed in my life, had a great time, learned a lot. Gonzo is very clear, friendly and knowledgeable

I've had the pleasure of using their services twice, once a few years ago with Kevin and recently with Gonzo. Both were outstanding, personable and patient. I really appreciate Gonzo's approach to teaching. He teaches about the why to do things, not just telling you what to do. He has a lot of experience. I also enjoyed working with Suzie (not sure I spelled her name right) but she was very good at communicating daily and I can't refer you all to a better run company to learn how to Kite Board or to just sharpen your skills. I will be back in the future and cannot wait!!!

An amazing experience! Epes was a great teacher, patient, energetic and encouraging. Our group (4 of us) all had an amazing experience and were all surfing waves very quickly. Could not recommend enough!

My kids (ages 11 & 15) had an AMAZING experience with Action Sports (Surf Club Maui)!! They were able to get up on the board on the first try. It was really well organized and the surf instruction was incredible. Out instructor, Jonathan, was so patient and helpful. My kids loved every minute. He did such a great job teaching them, that they were able to get up on a surf board on their own the next day when we rented them. Highly recommend!!!

My girlfriend and I took a kiteboarding lesson with Fran and Gonzo. I’ve done a couple lessons before and my girlfriend has no experience. We both made great progress and I learned a TON from Gonzo. Thanks guys!

I had a wonderful experience learning how to surf with my instructor Ebes. He was very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions in detail and above all was so patient when I felt nervous. When we were out in the water he always made sure I was safe. I saw turtles in the water as I learned to surf which was amazing!! He taught he the beginner skills and I would love to go back one day to continue taking lessons with him to advance more. Thank you to my instructor Ebes and the entire team who worked together to make my experience memorable. From the ease of booking with other crew members, to Lalani taking pictures of me in the ocean, and the fun experience overall! It was amazing and unforgettable!!!

Gonzo was the best Kiteboard instructor I’ve had out of many. He explained many nuances others had missed, enabling better kite control.

My wife and I were scheduled to surf, our first time ever! We showed up just before our scheduled slot due to me not knowing exactly where we were supposed to go but they were so accommodating and made things so easy! Our instructor was fantastic, so helpful and engaging. He made it easy and so much fun my wife and I want to surf more!!! Too bad we live near the shores of Lake Ontario and not an ocean... although the waves can get pretty big here too!

Good instruction . Lots of fun. Very safe. Took group lesson with my adult kids who also enjoyed. Would do this again

The instructor was excellent, however if I thought my daughter was just going to have a 3 hr learning session as opposed to actually trying to kite surf I wouldn't have selected this activity.

Great instructors. Get properly trained. The consequences of DIY are not worth it. You will gain the confidence to know you can deal with the challenges that will happen on the water.

Action Sports Maui was great for surf lessons for the whole family! My husband, kids and I all enjoyed the classes and were successfully able to stand/surf after just 1 class (though enjoyed taking more lessons)! Suzi was responsive and easy to coordinate with and the instructors were all friendly, energetic and fun.

Action Sports Maui surpassed all of my expectations! Mic was the best instructor that I've ever had! She was extremely patient and took the time to explain to me what I was doing wrong. I learned a lot over 2 days. I definitely recommend Action Sports to anyone trying to learn this crazy sport! Thank you for everything!
