Stephanie and Cookie were very helpful, and the email communication was clear. They were wonderful to work with. The pilot, Drew, did a great job narrating and describing the history of the Island, and explaining the views we flew over.

We really wanted to do the tour over Volcanoes National Park. Unfortunately, the FAA implemented new regulations that severely limit how many and at what times flights over the park can occur. We still had a GREAT experience! We got to see the lava fields from past eruptions and learn about how and when they happened. Our pilot, Jim, was great. He made us all feel very comfortable, including my wife and daughter who get motion sickness, throughout the entire flight.

This is a top notch operation. I've left a review on the specific tour, and I do really like their non-negotiable focus on safety. We got rained out for our scheduled trip, but the support team had us watch the safety video again when we returned for the rescheduled flight. I love that they wouldn't cut corners. Next time in Hilo we'll go to them again.

Took our friends on this amazing helicopter tour and it was worth every penny. Loved the scenic drops and pilot was friendly too. cannot wait to go again soon.

From the minute we arrived in Hilo airport, everything was extremely easy and taken care of! **We opted to fly from Kauai to Hilo for a morning tour, but I’ll add more about that down below for those who are interested, we do not recommend doing this in 1 day. From the airport, you walk about 8 minutes to the helicopter place (just turn right and walk over some grassy hills and through a parking lot). When we checked in, Cookie was there to greet us with a smile and instructions! We weighed in, stowed our bags (fully locked and safe) and followed her out to the copter. Upon arrival, we were instructed where to sit based on weight, and the lovely Sam welcomed us to her chopper with another smile, a Shaka and some fun! Sam was incredible - she was not only professional and knowledgeable but also funny and made the ride very enjoyable! She has been flying for about 8 years and made us feel incredibly safe and comfortable in the air! Not only that, but she was well versed in Hawaiian culture and was able to regale us with the exquisite Hawaiian folklore stories about certain trees and their flowers as well as provide some local tips and suggestions! We had some extra time at the end and we were able to see a mom and child whale in the bay! All in all, highly recommend for great tour, fun and friendly staff and an all around great time! **we traveled from Kauai to Hilo for this excursion and we spent about 10 hours of traveling for a 1 hour helicopter excursion. If you are traveling to the big island for this tour, I would recommend making a day or two out of it and spending the night. We missed out on some great spots such as black sand beach, turtle watching, waterfall swimming, and of course some amazing food all because we tried to fit too much in and didn’t factor in travel time. DONT BE US! Some things to be aware of: 1. You probably will not see flowing magma!2. Reminder to not wear white! It is too reflective and gets in the way of pilots vision and your own photos 3. If you are claustrophobic, get motion sickness easily, or have a fear of heights, you may want to think twice about stepping into a helicopter.

This was our fifth Hawaiian island helicopter tour. While they have all been fabulous, this one deserves a 5+. Denise and Stephanie greeted us warmly and provided us with the safety gear and rundown. Pilot Sam (Samantha) has a pleasant demeanor which she blends with all sorts of interesting geological, historical and tourist-tip information throughout the tour. It was excellent all the way around! We are staying in Waikoloa, but we opted to spend a day in Hilo, starting with our helicopter ride in the later morning. There are plenty of food and activity options nearby, so it worked out very well for spending the afternoon in the area following our ride. Thanks Sam, Stephanie and Denise for a wonderful experience!

Great tour, the pilot was really nice and had great information to share. Plus the weather was really nice. We got to see some waterfalls.

Our pilot was Samantha and she is a great pilot and guide. This company offered a good price and we were not disappointed by the service. All the team members were friendly and pleasant.

The views were amazing. The pilot was exceptional and had a vast knowledge of the area to answer all questions as well as pointing out special things as we went. Would do again.

The ground crew was helpful and our pilot was friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to make some alterations to give us an amazing flight despite some unfortunate weather/cloud conditions (thanks, Chewy). It was an amazing experience to get the literal birds’ eye view after hiking and driving in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park for 1.5 days. Our kids (8 and 11) will be talking about this for years. We strongly recommend!

What an experience. Our pilot Sam was so friendly and knowledgeable. Our safety guide Cookie was very friendly, but the views were incredible. It was truly an experience of a lifetime.

My trip was awesome. From the moment I checked in, Stephanie was so fast and efficient and Cookie conducting the safety briefing, I felt I was reading to fly. Our pilot Samantha was so smooth inflight and her knowledge of the volcano and surrounding areas was educational. The views was breath taking. I enjoyed every minute of my tour. We took our 4 teens on a safari helicopter tour with our pilot Sam and it was the highlight of our vacation! Sam was not only an excellent pilot, but she was a fantastic tour guide as well. We saw everything from macadamia nut plantations, lava in volcanos, waterfalls and even witnessed whales breach off the coast of Hilo. Amazing!
