          An excellent experience!
Kerim Perdomo was an exceptional guide during our one-week in Honduras, when we visited places of interest in and along San Pedro Sula, Copán, la Esperanza, the Lake Yojoa area and Tegucigalpa. He is passionate about the history and culture of Honduras and is knowledgeable, thorough, punctual and congenial. He is a safe driver and provided comfortable transport – which were important, given the vast distances we had to cover to get to and from different places of interest. Kerim also included several sites that are generally less frequented, such as the Mayan ruins at El Puente Archaeological Park. It was the same in other locations. He arranged our stay at Panacam Lodge, which was an exceptional location. Without hesitation, we would recommend Kerim as a guide, if you plan to visit Honduras. Ana Teresa and Rhona

          Wow! Excellent Tour!
Outstanding service, extremely secure and safe, knowledgeable of the country, area, history and places to eat and points of interest. I am new to Honduras and wanted to see some of the country outside of Tegucigalpa. This tour exceeded my expectations. The food, the people, cascades, caverns and the lake are all amazing. I am planning on more adventures and tours with ICatracho tours for sure!

          Amazing Experience
I hired iCatracho Tours to travel from Tegucigalpa to Ceiba. I only needed transportation service, however, Kerim went above and beyond my expectations, he was committed to providing great service and was friendly at all times. He not only provided us with the transportation service I hired, he gave us an amazing traveling experience. Despite the fact that it was a long trip, he made it feel short and comfortable. He gave us valuable recommendations and showed interest in our needs. In addition, he respected our timing and was never in a rush. He also taught us a lot about the country on our way to our final destination. I highly recommend the service he provides. My family and I felt safe, happy, and our expectations were fulfilled.

Kerim was outstanding and I feel that I got more than I paid for on his tour.  I was the only one on the tour but he gave me a full day.  He was very knowledgeable and conversational.  I highly recommend his services.

Don't be afraid to visit Honduras
Hi, I just got back from 3 beautiful weeks in Honduras. This is my 4th trip in 4 years. I flew into San Pedro and used Kerims private transport service to the western highlands near the Salvadorian border in the department of Lempira. I did not encounter any roadblocks/riots/civil unrest. I stayed there for two weeks without incident. Then Kerim picked me up from Lempira and took a girlfriend and I to PANACAM for a night (highly recommended for bird lovers), a night by Lago de Yojoa after exploring Parque Los Naranjos and Biopark Paradise. We again had a wonderful time without any incidents. Lastly, I spent 2 days in San Pedro with Kerim, we went to Omoa (what a cultural delight) and had seafood soup on the coast. My last day he took me to a spa for an expertly given massage. I even walked to the mall by myself from my hotel. The Honduran people are warm, friendly and humble. In my personal opinion, you are more likely to be assaulted on vacation in Philadelphia, Baltimore, Chicago, etc than in Honduras. Kerim is attentive, on time, and patient Don't be afraid of Honduras,if you are a tourist, and not looking for any trouble, it most likely wont find you. The news we hear here in the US is very slanted. There are always 2 sides to every story.

          Excellent day tour around Honduras
My Mother, daughter and I had a great excursion led by Kerim. We would recommend it to everyone. Kerim was a safe driver, timely, courteous, friendly, spoke English and very knowledgeable with Honduras and the culture. Our excursion included the Pulhapanzak waterfall, kayaking at Yojoa lake, seeing the Taulabe caves, and stopping for a delicious dinner. We are glad to have had the convenience of traveling with a guide who knows the country so well. It was a great day!

Had a great day trip with Kerim exploring Tegucigalpa and Valle de Angeles
Kerim was incredibly welcoming, and very thoughtful! He made us feel safe and secure the entire day, and went out of his way to ensure we had a great experience. Along with seeing beautiful parts of the city and eating delicious food, Kerim proved how knowledgeable he is about culture and history. We truly learned an amazing amount for a single day! We are beyond thankful we found Kerim, and would highly recommend him to anyone!

          Excellent tour and very informative!
My mom and I traveled to Tegucigalpa for a short weekend so that we could experience the capitol of Honduras! We found this tour online and were excited to meet Kerim and learn about the city; and it did not disappoint. Kerim is very knowledgable and was eager to share about his city. He emailed us prior to our tour to confirm our location and the time for pickup, and then he even arrived early to pick us up (and kindly waited while we finished breakfast). His air conditioned van was very comfortable for the day's travel and he stocked it with cold water for us to drink throughout the day. Kerim shared lots of history and facts about the city and answered all of our questions! He asked us what we desired for lunch (typical Honduran food with tajadas) and he delivered; we loved the place we stopped for lunch in Valle de Angeles. If we have a chance to take another tour we won't hesitate to contact Kerim! He is very willing to cater the tour to your interests and make sure you learn and see the things you want!! Thanks Kerim!

          Road-trip in Honduras!
I was a bit skeptical of my visiting Honduras, due to all the information found on-line about the dangers in San Pedro Sula, and cities of Honduras. Kerim changed that concept completely, and took me on a road trip through western Honduras that left me with nothing more than wonderful memories of kind and hospitable people, beautiful colonial towns, fresh and exciting coffee, and a deep exchange of conversations. He is a passionate person with a mission. I am so privileged to have been a part of his vision to change Honduras for the better. Go visit Honduras, and enjoy the company of Kerim!

          Punctual / Flexible / Passionate
I just returned from three weeks in Honduras. I used Kerim last year and he was great so I contacted him again for his services this time around. We went across the country from San Pedro/Santa Rosa de Copan/Gracias-La Campa/Lake Yojoa/PANACAM/Pulha waterfall/Tela/Pico Bonito. It was awesome. I highly recommend his services. If you are in the area or passing through Tela let him take you to lunch on the beach for sopa de mariscos with the Garifuna people. The zip lines in La Campa and Pulha waterfall are safe and fun. PANACAM and Pico Bonito national parks are pristine and filled with undiscovered swimming opportunities. I also went to Cayos Cochinos, a little overrated in my opinion. A neat place that was not on my list that Kerim suggested: the rarely visited Caves of Taulabe outside of Siguatepeque. Worth the stop if you are in the area. He's your best bet for tours/transportation in all of Honduras.

          Knowledgable, trustworthy and .....patient
Contacted Kerim through the internet , based on the favourable reports on Tripadvisor. We were a group of 4 colleagues who wanted to se a bit of Honduras after completion of our jobs in Tegucigalpa. We had immediate contact and Kerim was very helpful in the proces of establishing what would be possible to see during our 3 day road trip. We had long and interesting days - driving a total of 1200 km on the not very good roads. Our wishes were: nature, trecking, gastronomy, local life (no churches, monuments or museums). Accomodation should be clean, safe and economical. Kerim understood our wishes and we planned a trip from Tegucigalpa to Tela and La Ceiba. Caves, natural parks, microbrewery and a visit to a very local restaurant - they had been serving the same dish breakfast, lunch and dinner for more that 20 years and the place is still full. We loved the natural parks - the towns did not win our hearts. Sometimes our wishes differed in the group and Kerim displayed extreme diplomacy to make everything work out anyhow. Honduras has a bad reputation for crime and I am sure that you should be cauteous. We only met friendly people, we did not feel threatened and nobody tried to rip us off. Kerim is very knowledagble about his country and our conversations gave us a nuanced picture of Honduras. I have no hesistation in recommending him as guide and driver if you plan a roadtrip in Honduras

Honduras is Better Because of Kerim!
Kerim Perdomo, of Intercambio Catracho, is honest, authentic, and sincere. We communicated via email (his English is excellent) until we met in person at TGU, where he was waiting for me in the Arrivals Hall. He is a professional, not only dressed accordingly but equipped with a new, clean Toyota van. (And given the amount of driving we did over the next three days, it's vital to add that he is a good and safe driver.) He is knowledgeable about his country, and he is passionate about the development of Honduras. He is adamant about making a good impression, and this reveals itself while walking through the streets of Tegucigalpa, the cobble-stoned alleyways of Santa Lucia, or the cavernous depths of the Telus Caves. Kerim is the premier tour operator in Tegucigalpa, San Pedro Sula, and the surrounding areas. Honduras seems to focus so much of its marketing on Roatan; thus, it stands to reason that tourism professionals flock to Roatan as well. But Kerim is on the ground, on the Honduran mainland, as he believes that Honduras has more to offer than scuba. And he is right. Tegucigalpa, Comayagua, Santa Lucia . . . are beautiful. (And I don't believe I'd have seen Comayagua and Santa Lucia had it not been for Kerim.) I consider myself a traveler, not a tourist. Very likely, Kerim was able to meet my needs because he, too, is a traveler. He's been to the USA many times (he is passionate about photography and music), and he has traveled to El Salvador, Costa Rica, and Guatemala. He understands what a traveler wants to see and do; he "gets it." If you're thinking about taking a trip to Honduras, know that you have a friend on the ground. Kerim Perdomo, of Intercambio Catracho, is a stand-up guy who who will show you the beauty of Honduras.

          Exceptional!
Bueno! Absolutely Bueno!!! I am a first visitor to Tegucigalpa (and Honduras) and came to visit kids that I help sponsor at a school here. While here, I wanted to learn a bit more about the Country than what I was exposed to on the hotel TV channels. My tour with Kerim far exceeded my expectations. Kerim is obviously proud of his homeland and gave up a successful career to try to promote understanding and appreciation for his proud Country via the tour company.. (Unlike some tour operators, he was also willing to discuss not only the Country's strengths and beauty, but also challenges). Kerim was more than willing to slightly adjust the itinerary and discussions to meet special interests. His experience helped guide me to some wonderful photo opportunities, but also locally owned shops, artisans and dining. Kerim even went beyond expectations in that he inspected each item that I had selected to buy and in one case, noted damage that I had missed, and arranged with artesian to replace the damaged part. Kerim repeatedly Thanked me for my trust. Kerim, Thank you. My trust was well placed. I hope to return to Honduras again and will definitely work through Kerim to schedule future trips.

This was third trip to Tegucigalpa and my second tour with Kerim. A very enjoyable day customized to my interests. The tour included several historic Colonial Churches, scenic photo detours, as well interesting conversation and insights into Honduras’ rich history and dreams for the future.
