Wow I feel like the luckiest girl on our cruise ship because I am convinced that I had the best day ever in Roatan thanks to our guide Murphy!! I last minute booked this tour with little expectations and was absolutely blown away by the passion Murphy had to share his island with us! He was our driver for just the two of us so we were already off to a good start! Our first stop was to AJ’s monkeys and sloths... which was everything and more!! We were put in small groups and had about 10 minutes in each area to play. There is a lady that owns the house and this all takes place outside on her property. You can tell she takes great care of these animals or else I would have felt horrible. Their keepers are so gentle and knowledgeable. Then Murphy took us to the water to snorkel a shipwreck which was also just so beautiful! There were only 6 tourists on the boat and 3 guides so it was extremely personalized. Lastly, Murphy asked us what else we wanted to do with our extra time and gave us an option to ATV for $60 for about 45 minutes. He took us to true Roatan Henry tour where we met Emanuel! Emanuel took us on the most colorful tour through the jungle, passed an African tribe’s village, towards the historic site of the island and we rode back on the beach. We took a pit stop to rest and chill at a palapa hut to enjoy the scenery. We took a little dip to cool off and interacted with the local children. I cried while we were atving back because my heart was so happy that we had the best guide/tour ever that showed us the true essence of the island and cause I got to connect with the children all through body language. I have been to almost 40 countries and THIS is the reason I travel... to feel a connection to the natives the way Murphy and Emanuel allowed me to. I have already passed on this recommendation to other travelers I’ve met at another stop heading to Roatan and I will forever forward this information to anybody on their way! Thank you again (Murphy) for truly one of the best days of my life!!

As my sister, (adult) niece and I only had one day on Roatán (stopover on a cruise), we wanted to make the most of it. This tour enabled us to visit the sloths, do some snorkelling and see a bit of the island. We even had time to do ziplining.
Roatán Anderson Tours takes you from place to place (with commentary along the way), with the sloth encounter, snorkelling and ziplining run by other companies. We were in small groups the whole day, which made it a lot more enjoyable for us.
Shervin (manager/founder) was great about answering our queries ahead of time (you can contact him via What’s App) and Brandon, our guide on the day, was friendly and happy to answer all our many questions about life on Roatán.
The shipwreck snorkelling wasn’t as interesting as I expected (having snorkelled at the Great Barrier Reef and Red Sea previously I, admittedly, have high expectations) but my sister (2nd time snorkelling) and niece (1st time) loved it. The one guy on the boat took the time to point stuff out to us that we might have otherwise missed.
We loved cuddling the sloths (highlight!) but it would have been nice to learn more about sloths in addition to just meeting them.
At the end there was time to do some shopping or ziplining. My niece and I elected ziplining (extra cost) while my sister had lunch at the restaurant below. I mainly went along to keep my niece company but wound up having lots of fun.
If you are limited for time on the island, this tour is a great way to spend the day.

We were really nervous about booking an excursion outside of our cruise line. I am so glad we did. Shervim was an amazing guide and set us at ease. We were a group of 7. He drove us around Roatan and told of the history. We went to a locate vendor area, where we met several locals and purchase beautiful artwork. The sloth and monkeys stop was better than we ever expected. It was really a dream come true for my 18 year old daughter. We held all the animals and the habitats were very clean. The animals were well taken care off. Snorkeling was alive with color. The coral was absolutely full of life. We love to snorkel and this was the best snorkeling we had seen in several years. We were shocked by the beauty. Thank you Roatan Anderson Tours for the best part of our cruise. We will be booking with you again.

Oh oh the cloths and monkeys and birds FABULOUS! The people at the sloth place couldn't hve been nicer or more gentle - handling animals and people. Making sure we had enough time and enough photos. DOUBLE TRIPLE YAY!
The snorkel was AWFUL. We were basically dropped off at a restaurant for 2HOURS with NOTHING TO DO (no warning that this would happen) while other boats went out and took other groups. When we FINALLY went, they had to get equiptment (fin and masks) from another boat (we pulled up next to them in the water once we left dock)....we were given NO INSTRUCTIONS about ANYTHING>
once in the water - we were on our own. How nice it would have been ot have something pointed out to us or....ANYTHING>

Amazing excursion. My wife fulfilled her dream of holding a sloth. The hands on with sloth monkeys Toucan birds was so cool. Guide was very informative. Snorkeling tour was good except for the thunder storm that freaked us out. Swimming thru the reefs and seeing sunken ship was so cool. Great experience highly recommended.

We enjoyed every bit of this excursion. Our guide was Shanda (we are sorry if we spelled it wrong) she was very pleasant to be with took us to our sites and to a nice restaurant and shoping away from the port. She answered any questions we had about the area. And made sure we had plenty of time to get back to the ship without feeling rushed. The snorkeling was exciting and again not rushed. And the part of the trip the kids enjoyed the most was the interactivity with the sloths and monkeys. We recommend this tour/excursion to anyone looking.

Sloths are softer than you think..and they hug you when you hold them...all the other animals were fun too.SNORKEL TRIP WAS AMAZING..even though we hit rain. Our guide/driver Murphy, was awsome. He took us to a restaurant after our excursion, to try iguana...never wouldve thought they'd have a spicy zing.

This excursion far exceeded my expectations!! First Hayman was the best guide we have ever had!!! He was our personal guide the entire day! He took us to all the best places on the island for pictures. Next we went to
The sloth and monkey hangout...truly a once in a lifetime experience!! Our 2 teenagers loved it! Next he took us to a beach where we were taken by boat to the most beautiful reef we have ever been to! We snorkeled for over 2 hours!! Hayman waited for us the entire time and even watched our lounge chairs and belongings while we were on the boat. He truly made this excursion an excellent family experience!! Do not hesitate to book this tour and specifically ask for Hayman...you won’t be disappointed!!!

This trip was definitely a highlight for me. We started off seeing the sloths and monkeys who were adorable and the staff were very friendly.
We then went snorkelling which was amazing and clear to see the shipwreck and all the fish!
At the end we had the option to go ziplining at an extra cost. This was amazing and I would highly recommend. The guide shows lots of tricks you can try, such as going upside down and doing flips. It is definitely a unique experience and well worth it.
Most importantly, our guide Stevin was amazing! He made sure we knew what was going on and that everything ran smoothly! He shared information about the island and made the day very enjoyable!

My son wanted to snorkel a ship wreck and no such excursion was offered through our cruise, so we booked this excursion based on recommendations from Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed!
Chris was an excellent guide. We had to exit the cruise terminal, since the excursion was not through the ship, and he was waiting for us on the street right outside of the terminal. A lot of tour guides tried to sell us tours as we were leaving the terminal, but when we said that we had already booked on line they all pointed us in the right direction to find Chris.
Chris was a very safe and excellent driver. On our way out of Coxen Hole, he explained to us about the local culture and took us to a souvenir shop outside of the tourist district. They had the same things as at the port, except MUCH better prices! He took us to see the sloths and monkeys. We got to hold the animals and take pictures with them. After that, we went to the location for the snorkeling. Chris helped us figure out the underwater camera we just bought and waited for us while we went out on the boat. The crew of the boat were very attentive, and paid special attention to my 11-year-old son in the water. Everything was very safe and very well managed.
We would definitely recommend Chris and Roatan Anderson Tours. It was a very fun day and an excellent value.

You will do some walking about 15 to 20ft from the car everything is very close plus if she like she can bring a wheelchair honestly everything is very close by she wouldn’t do much of a walk
