The zip lining experience alone was epic, but the real star of the show was the staff. Impeccably safety conscious, friendly, and fun. They are totally dedicated to creating your ideal experience. Highly recommend.

First time zip-liner and 60 year old woman here. This was a fun, exciting, terrifying trip. It started with a 30 minute bus ride out of the city of Roatan. After gearing up in harnesses, gloves and helmets we were taken to a training line to learn how to brake and land on the platform. We were also given instruction in how to interpret the hand signals the guides could give us while on the cables (slow down, straighten out). There were 11 or 12 platforms with lines in many different lengths, and a guide on every platform. After the first couple lines I was able to take a deep breath and look around (the first ones were just me looking straight ahead holding on for dear life). Once I relaxed a little I was able to enjoy each ride. The views were absolutely stunning in every direction. At no point did I feel unsafe. The guides offered to go with me tandem if necessary. They were very helpful and skilled. I wore a t-shirt and bike shorts. I would not recommend short-shorts or loose-fitting clothing. The harnesses go around your thighs, torso and shoulders and those clothes may make them uncomfortable. Close-toed shoes are required. We started at the top of a mountain range and zipped to the bottom, requiring a ride back up the mountain in an open buggy to get back to our starting point. They did take pictures which were offered for sale, and were selling t-shirts from a small shop. There were little kids in our group, but it is not for anyone with physical disabilities. There are steps up to every platform, no ramps and no handrails anywhere (it's Mexico). This was a fun excursion from a Norwegian cruise ship. Very well organized.

We loved our experience at South Shore Zipline! The staff provided excellent service! They made sure we were comfortable and communicated well. I myself am a bit afraid of heights but our guides made sure that I was excited and not scared! We highly recommend South Shore to anyone who loves an intense adrenaline rush!! Be sure to include a Zipline experience with them during your trip!

Staff was helpful safety conscious. Spectacular view of the jungle canopy and ocean. Try to avoid times when cruise ships are in, can be very busy. We went in early morning and finished in about an hour

Terrell and Raymond were so amazing. We had the best time with them. I was shaking with fear before I started, but they made me feel so comfy and safe. Thankful for this experience! Highly recommend you meet these guys ❤️🙏🏽

Wow, were these ziplines fun. Two parents and two kids (8 and 10) had a fantastic time gliding along the canopy in Roatan. Friendly staff and we felt safe the entire time.

This Zipline is the ultimate experience that is a must have in Roatan. If you want something exciting with fast ZipLines, high heights and wonderful views then this is the place. Numerous zip lines to ride on and the views are stunning! The crew who work with you on the whole experience make sure safety first and make sure you have a great time. So worth the time and the money to go through South Shore.

Loved this experience! Beautiful scenery, helpful , fun staff, exhilarating, informative. From the time we loaded the bus to our return, we enjoyed it all with one “minor “ exception … I hate to even mention it but the that is what this “forum “ is for. Tipping was very confusing. We wanted to be sure to tip well , because like I said previously , we were very pleased overall. But, jeeperz. …. We were told a few times, not just once or twice , that each staff had to be tipped individually ? Bus drivers , 6 zip line staff, eco walk narrator , bus narrator,…. Etc. we were not prepared for all that and not even sure if it’s true. Seems like there has got to be a better way ? Everything else …. Top notch. You won’t be sorry you went on this adventure : )

awesome guides Jamal and Martin...were patient and fun..... they gave me a knickname that has now stuck "Big Daddy"..kids had a blast..1800.ft zip was long.

Amazing experience. Jose and Charlie took such amazing care of us. 11 zip lines; almost 2 miles. Good directions, and I felt well looked after and safe. Five stars and would ride again!!!!!

Our family of 5 had a great experience doing the 11 zipline trails. We went on a non cruise ship day and it wasn't as busy. The guides were wonderful!

We booked this through our cruise as their Adrenaline Zip Line Adventure. It was an 11 line zipline experience, including transportation to/from the cruise port. It was simply great. I've been on a number of other zip lines, and this one was one of the best. They like to joke around quite a bit, but they are very serious when it comes to safety, from when you are fitted with the harness, to the experience on the lines. We had 7 staff accompany our group of roughly 18, and they were able to safely help some of the guests by riding tandem with them. I'd go back again

What a great time. Jeffrey and his team were so much fun. It went by too quickly. Nothing like zip lining above the jungle with the ocean right in the background. This was by far the safest and most in control zip lines of the dozen I have ever done.

Love this experience. Was scared initially of doing it but enjoyed this zip line tour. The best was the No 9 zip line the longest and fastest. Will definitely recommend to everyone. My whole family did it and enjoyed the experience. Awesome people and experienced guides.
