We booked our transportation within Guatemala through Adrenalina Tours. We visited Tikal, Santa Elena bus station for the overnight bus to Antigua, Antigua, Lake Atitlan (Santa Cruz La Laguna), and Guatemala City. All of our drivers were very friendly and helpful and were good, safe drivers. We arranged for the drivers to pick us up from our hotel and take us to the next destination. Our trip was so much better having all the transportation details worked out ahead of time and Carlos at Adrenalina Tours was helpful in that planning process. All drivers were prompt except for one who had difficulty locating our hotel, so that was understandable and we still got to our destination on time. We were so very grateful for each driver getting us safely to each of our destinations in Guatemala. Additionally, we did the sunset and sunrise tours in Tikal National Park through Adrenalina Tours. Our guide Eddy was a real gem. He was so knowledgeable about Tikal as well as other Mayan ruins. He explained that he had a background in archeology and we were just so thrilled to have such a knowledgeable guide. He also provided a lot of details about the plant and animal life in the area. Our guide for the Pacaya Volcano was great too. He was knowledgeable and allowed us to pace ourselves on this hike since we did experience many elevation changes and were traveling with children and grandparents. He also brought marshmallows for roasting over the lava field. Thanks so much Adrenalina for assisting in our travels. We were so pleased with their service! We highly recommend them.

Pre-booked 4 private transfers for family of 5 and all went well. Communication via email and WhatsApp was prompt. First transfer from airport to Chichi was delayed as one of our group's flights was late arriving, but no problems waiting. Was nice to have convenience of private transfers. Could change times as needed. We asked to change a pick-up time from one of our locations and to add a stop at some ruins. Patrick was quick to respond and make all changes for us. Vehicles were comfortable and in very nice condition. We especially enjoyed our driver Federico.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! Before my trip I set up a shared ride to the airport from Antigua for my flight home with Adrenalina Tours. The driver was on time. When we went to pick up the second and only other rider, no one came out when he knocked on door. Waited 20 plus minutes and no one came out. Adrenalina's driver was obviously mad even though he spoke no word of English and I no word of Spanish. He excessively sped all the way to the airport. He was blasting loud music, driving around curves with one hand while he was yelling into his phone. As the van sped around a curve there was a car stopped dead and the driver had to slam on his brakes. My palm of my left hand was jammed into the seat in front of me as I was thrown forward. I immediately experienced pins and needles in my hand and wrist. The driver did not turn around and inquire, apologize or acknowledge me but only hilariously belly laugh. He continued to drive erratically and speed and laying on the horn when there was nowhere for the cars in front of him to go. It is my third day home and I am continuing to experience pins and needles and aching in my wrist. I AM IN A COURT REPORTER! All through my time in Guatemala I was so sympathetic to the economic conditions and the crisis the people are in and endeavored to be as generous as I could with my gratuities for services. Needless to say, the 150Q remained in my wallet when I was dropped at the airport. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

My husband and I decided that we wanted to take an 8 day trip to Guatemala. We knew very little about the country and had less than a month to plan everything. I did my research and reached out to Adrenalina and Patrick quickly responded. I told him what we wanted to see, the cities I researched and various activities. He responded with an amazing personalized itinerary. When we got to Guatemala we had a driver ready for us, all hotels reserved, driver and activities were taken care of. It was such a relief having everything so perfectly planned and activities scheduled. Our main driver was Enrique and he was so nice and informative; although he wasn’t a formal guide he still had a wealth of knowledge I would recommend asking for him. We had private tour guides during the various activities and they were all such a pleasure. Patrick kept in contact with us during the whole trip and everything went smoothly. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for tours in Guatemala to use them, truly made our trip memorable and stress free!

Amazing company!!! We did four private tours with them. Tikal day tour, Chichicastenango / Atitlan lake day tour, Livingston / Rio dulce two day trip and Pacaya volcano day tour. We were traveling with three young children and an elderly mom, and had zero problems. All the trips were very well run with perfectly bilingual and very friendly drivers and guides. All pick ups and drop off where on time (a rarity in this wonderful country). Guides are very knowledgeable and cater to what you want to see. Transportation was in very comfortable, air conditioned vans. Really a wonderful experience that let us see and feel this amazing part of the world. Price is not cheap, but totally worth it for what you get. Recommend this company 100%.

We did the acatanago hike with adrenaline and it was incredible, I HIGHLY recommend them. The guide was spectacular and the communication from HQ was effective. Word of advice: bring good shoes :)

We booked a flight, shuttles, and hotel from Antigua to Tikal with Adrenalina Tours. Patrick was very good about explaining how each part of the trip would work, and everything went very smoothly. It's a little frightening when you are in a foreign country to rely on people you don't know to show up when and where they are supposed to, but our drivers were always right on time and went out of their way to make sure everything worked. In fact, our 3:00 a.m. driver showed up at 2:45! Good thing we were ready! They were allowing plenty of time to make sure we caught our flight because of demonstrations in the streets. When they picked us up at the airport in Flores to take us to Tikal, they knew that we needed to buy our Tikal tickets at the airport bank, and walked with us to do that. Good thing because evidently the ticket office at Tikal wasn't open, and you couldn't buy tickets there. Our driver, Eli, from Flores to Tikal and back again, met us at the hotel the morning we were leaving at the chosen time, drove us to the Canopy Zipline at the entrance to Tikal, ziplined with us, leaving our bags locked in his car, then drove us to a restaurant in Flores where we could have lunch, walk around town and shop a little, then picked us back up in the afternoon to take us to the airport. We were paying for the shuttle, but I'm sure those extra stops were a courtesy to help make our trip very pleasant for us. They were always on time, very friendly, and very accommodating. My only complaint was that we planned to go to the office in Antigua to pay for the rest of our tickets, but after walking through town looking for their office, it wasn't at the address where we thought it was supposed to be. We did have a Guatemalan friend call and found out there was no longer an office in Antigua. That scared me a little, but when we talked to Patrick we were reassured everything was good to go...and it was. Thank you, Patrick, for being so accommodating and planning a great trip for us! You need to take cash to Tikal, because there are no ATMs there. Thank you, Patrick, for letting us know that in advance.

For small sightseeing trips near Xela or longer travels. Very recomendable. Good service and dependable vehicles!

This was our first trip to Central America... After reading good reviews about Adrenalina tours, we decided to contact them for our trip to Guatemala. Patrick responded straight away with excellent advice for how to put our itinerary together. Every time I emailed him with changes and questions, he responded within hours, I was super impressed with his communication! Once we arrived in Guatemala, he supported us each step of our itinerary with advice and quickly answered any questions we had. It was very reassuring for us to have such good support along the way, especially since we don't know any spanish. For half our trip we used public buses (Belize to Flores, Flores to Rio Dulce and on to Guatemala City). Patrick booked all these for us and helped us along the way. For the 2nd half of our trip we used a private van and driver. I was very impressed with our driver, Manuel! He was always punctual, and very polite and patient. He shared a wealth of information with us about the history of the places we visited and aspects of mayan culture. He took us to great places to eat and get coffee when we needed it. Nothing was too much trouble for him, he made our trip simply awesome!! Overall, I was extremely impressed with the service Patrick at Adrenalina tours gave us! We will definitely use them again for any future trips to Guatemala!!

We caught a ride with them to the Todos Santos Horse races. Eric was a brilliant driver and the consummate concierge. English or Spanish, he can answer your questions, give you advice on local customs, and certainly make certain that your return ride is ready, easy and on time. This was not a tour per se, but a transport. But, if the tours are anything like the simple transport, I'd book with them.

When I was looking for shuttles and buses to get around Guatemala, I saw a few responses to reviews for Adrenalina that included the founder and manager Patrick's email address. I wrote to him and couldn't have been happier. Patrick talked me through the logistics of all of our trips (Antigua to Panajachel, Panajachel to Flores, and Flores to Guatemala City). He gave great tips and helped me book everything I needed. When it became apparent to me our overnight bus from Flores wouldn't make it to Guatemala City in time for our flight (my mistake, I didn't run the times by Patrick), he helped out again and talked me through my other options, even linking me to the correct airline to book our flight back to Guatemala City - which didn't make him any money. He also told us just to grab a shuttle from the airport to Antigua and not worry about booking anything in advance. While in Flores, we were also able to book a ride to Tikal for the next morning with limited heads-up. I had the impression the whole time that Patrick was there to help me first, and to sell me services second, which was incredibly refreshing. If I went back to Guatemala, there is no one else I would deal with.

I booked a shuttle with Adrenalina, and they accidentally confirmed a destination they usually don't go to. Rather than cancel my trip and say sorry, they made it work and made sure I still arrived at my destination. This is rare in my experience traveling in Central America, and I was really impressed by their customer service.

I booked a shared shuttle from Antigua to Panajachel and would recommend it for others. The communication was very good! I am rating 4 and not 5 stars because the confirmation e-mail said that the pick-up would take place at 8 am but this time is set for everyone in all Antigua so I waited for 30 minutes until I got a little anxious and called the agency if I am on the list and they told me that because of the amount of people taking this shuttle it will take some time. So in the end the shuttle arrived at 08.45 instead of 08.00 which is of course okay but it would be nice to know before what time I should wait so I do not need to worry if the ride is gonna take place. All in all the staff is friendly and I would book this shuttle again!
