Amazing service! Our driver, Mario, was such a pleasure, kept in communication with us leading up to our pickup, and quelled our nervous stomachs as we traversed the windy, mountainous roads. Our guide at Iximche, Melvin, was amazing! So kind and knowledgeable. It was great to get such a robust tour and explanation of the site, its significance, and the complexity of Mayan culture throughout the region. We would gladly work with either of them again!

Our family took a Kayak Guatemala tour from Panjachel to San Juan La Laguna with Alex as our guide, and our experience was so much richer and more relaxing than it would have been had we gone on our own. Alex was so professional, yet warm, and we truly appreciated learning from him throughout the day. We also greatly enjoyed meeting and learning from the varied artisans and women with knowledge of traditional Mayan medicinal herbology who Alex introduced us to, as well as exploring corners of the town off the beaten path. Lee Beals helped us organize our private boat transportation when we visited Lake Atitlan for a week, as well as other transportation, and spa services. Lee is super responsive and not only helped to implement our proposed itinerary, but made suggestions and improved it. I was very finicky about wanting properly fitting life vests for all of the kids we were traveling with on the boats, and Lee was extremely accommodating and made it happen. I would definitely recommend you work with Lee if you're coming to Lake Atitlan. It made our trip so much better to have the same captain every day for private boat trips and booked through a trustworthy source. The captain Lee booked was always punctual and safe and great and with life vests. We also walked by Los Elementos several times and although we didn't use anything but the spa services, it looked like people were really enjoying the kayaks and all the water services they offer.

What a treat to get to see and learn about such a fascinating and beautiful culture. From the moment we met our shaman we could tell he was a special person. He explained the significance of where and why they perform these ceremonies. We did a cleansing ceremony and it was beautiful. It was a truly unique experience. The walk to the caves was a little steep. We took a chicken bus to and from town. We highly recommend to get off the regular tourist route and try something like this.

What a fun and unique experience. Comfortable, nice, friendly, and of course wonderful food. Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a unique experience, especially in such a beautiful location like Santa Cruz.

Today I did this amazing experience on my birthday and it was everything and more! It was a great way to start my new year of life! Alex was my guide and he really made sure I experienced Guatemala the right way. The ceremony itself was amazing. I didn't take any picture out of respect for my personal spiritual experience, I highly this recommend experience and Alex too!

This is a must if you’re at Lake Atitlan! Alex, our guide was the best! He is friends with everybody, encourage him to become the next El Presidente of the Republic! We kayaked and went hiking, jumped off a small cliff into the water, went shopping, eating, went to a honey bee farm. Clearly one of our best days in Guatemala! Also concluded the day with a really wonderful Mayan Cooking class. We cooked our dinner and learned a ton along the way. Winner, winner, winner!!!

Phenomenal paddle board location! WhatsApp the owner the night before to do a sunrise paddle. Fair prices about $70Q/hr. The paddle boards are in great shape. Not a far paddle to Casa Del Mundo. Bring water shoes, quick dry towel and a waterproof case for your phone. Oh and sunscreen!!

A great trip with Fernando, who was an awesome guide! The lake in the morning is placid and you can kayak at your own pace and the hiking back is challenging but doable. I would highly recommend to anyone who is active and wants to explore different areas of the lake.

We had an awesome day with our guide who helped us kayak along the lakeshore, swim, and hike up to a delicious lunch in Santa Cruz. He made it personalized and flexible, and we had plenty of time to do what we wanted!

The cooking class with Alicia and her family was a wonderful way to experience the heart of her community and culture via food and cooking together. We learned a lot and had a delicious meal together at the end. Highly recommend!

The location is beautiful. The accommodation is basic but acceptable. The hosts hearts just don’t appear to be in it. There were numerous failings during our short stay which left us with a bitter taste. They may as well just have left us a key … then at least we wouldn’t have had all of the disturbances from their day to day living and we wouldn’t have relied on them for all of the things they promise. It should be said, however, that external guides recommended were all excellent.

Fernando was the best part of the tour, he is so kind, knowledgeable and flexible with time. The group was fun, and he made a point to talk to everyone and make sure every felt included and safe. We loved the kayaking <3 loved our time in Atitlan.

My wife and I took this tour because all the other tours to lake Atitlan we’re canceled. Luckily for us, we found this tour and our guide was Edvin . Luckily my wife and i had him to ourselves. We had such a fun day and it was great to spend one on one time with a local guide. He introduced us to local foods and customs. We rode a chicken bus and saw a Mayan shaman ritual.
