- Navigate172710671060 contributionsAwesomeAmazing experience with my tour guide Miguel. He knew everything about the area and sights. The ruins were fascinating and the jungle environment allowed us to see incredible flora and fauna such as howler monkeys and a kinkajou. Rio Frio was jaw-droopingly beautiful and the Rio On pools were cool and refreshing.Written July 23, 2021

- pamt1550 contributionsGreat snorkeling with Lil' AlphonseThis was a wonderful place to snorkel. We saw a lot of marine life and coral. We also saw 20 to 24 nurse sharks! Our tour operator was Lil' Alphonse and he was very knowledgeable and very friendly. Highly recommend using Lil' Alphonse for your snorkeling trip if going to this area.Written June 15, 2021

- BENQUE R0 contributionsAmazing Trip!Amazing Tour. Thanks guys! We did the cave and canopy walk tour and loved it . Very close to Xunantunich which made it a perfect tour.Written September 7, 2019
- BraveSue800 contributionsBeautiful ruins - but so many stepsBeautiful, large ruin site overlooking lagoon. Road to get here is really bad, though. When I checked after leaving, we had climbed 70 floors FYI. It is a LOT. Our guide was nice and funny.Written April 29, 2019
- Nikoline F0 contributionsAmazing way to explore the belizian wildlife!!!We were a group of five that booked this tour a bit last minute, as we wanted to explore the great wildlife Belize has to offer. We were only staying in San Ignacio for one night so we wanted to find a way to see as much as possible in a short amount of time. This tour gave us everything we were looking for! Riding through the narrow jungle while hearing howler monkeys, entering a beautiful cave while the horses had a rest, and riding on top of a Maya ruin that was not yet dug out. Our guides were professional and had a lot of knowledge of the animals and plants in the jungle. We were taken really good care of and felt safe and comfortable at all time. They ajust the tour based on experience with horses so every member of the group can feel comfortable. The horses were really well behaved and looked amazing (makes a horsegirl happy;)) You could see that they really cared for their horses!Written April 19, 2019
- Steve C0 contributionsAwesome Vacation That wasn’t the ordinaryWe loved the variety of tours available. Purple Mayan Tours took us to caves and ruin sites that were not listed in the tour guides or internet and were absolutely stunning. Very professional and outgoing guidesWritten April 1, 2019
