Phil was an outstanding guide and resource throughout my week long trip to Belize City. Always on time and professional with the patience of a saint! Highly recommend his company and tours. If you want someone with incredible knowledge and experience, Phil is your man!

Our Carnival Glory excursion was cancelled due to rough seas so we went ashore (tinder port) and just happened upon Belize Caribbean Tours. They gave us a deal (15% cheaper than Carnival) on the City Tour (about 1 hour) with Beach Time (2 hours). Even when we bought this, we could tell there were VERY conscientious about getting us back to port prior to "last tinder". Our tour guide Phillip is very knowledgeable about Belize City and showed us many places in the city as well as answered all questions about culture, lifestyles, finances and life in general in Belize City. We felt totally safe and encountered no issues at all. Then on to Kukumba Beach - salt water beach right on the ocean but also separated from the ocean by natural rock and a little engineering. Live DJ, food, water slides, large floaties, rope swing, plenty of shaded and unshaded beach chairs - no problem with having your choice. Plenty of bathrooms and changing facilities and showers to rinse the sand off. There is also a historical museum, gift shop (does take cards) and full restaurant (Phillip even ate here). We were returned promptly as promised as had absolutely an enjoyable time. One additional must add comment - I had left my cellphone in the tour van and this company went out of their way to find and will be shipping the phone back to me - big big kudos to Phillip and Tanizia, two of the more important people that work for this company..

Phil was a very great guy! Super helpful and informative. He was kind and always on time to get my group around to many fun activities throughout the week. Thanks Phil! And I would definitely highly recommend! 😁 he provided us with delicious home cook meals multiple times!

Although we booked the baboon sanctuary and didn’t really see / interact with any baboons, our tour guide Jose, others known as “jungle Joe” gave us a day out that we will never forget. He was super knowledgeable and so nice! He stopped at a few places we asked him to (the Belize sign and a shopping store). He was so accommodating and just proud of his country. We drove through the city and jungle Joe was all over the microphone, pointing out so much. It was such a wonderful tour overall. We saw the city, old church and shared many laughs in the car ride! BOOK WITH JUNGLE JOE !!

Today, we (a group of about 30 people) had a terrible experience. They showed us pictures of a beautiful beach, saying we would have access to umbrellas, beach chairs, and water. They even gave us a bracelet. After a 45-minute boat ride, they left us on a little island with no beaches, and, of course, no umbrellas or beach chairs for 4 hours. Even though the island was typical, we felt like we were literally scammed.

The best part of this excursion was going to a park where a local woman prepared wine, cornbread and candy to try. Otherwise it was a ride through a dirty city on a bus. Our guide was well spoken but there was just not much to see or learn about.

I would not recommend these shady set of people. I did not have a reservation and therefore I haggled with the guide for a rate of $35 for the Mayan tours for 2 ppl. When I went to pay, I was told $100... go figure... they told us to wait for 40 min. After 50, I didn't hear anything and when asked, I was told they couldn't find a driver to take us to the ruins... so we would have been sitting down in front of them without going on any tour... the shadiness and disrespect is so blatant and therefore, I WILL be making sure everyone knows not to use this group. There are others in the building who are more willing and more honest.

Crooked Tree was lovely. We did a lot of bird viewing by car but once we saw birds we would park on the side of the road and walk. Absolutely worth the visit.

Wonderful experience. Ask for Jimmie and Cynthia. Nice people. Very goof knowledge about history and culture. I strongly recommend them.

We were in Belize with Carnival. We didn’t have a tour planned, but we walked past this tour company, which appeared reputable and promised to take us to the Altun Ha ruins and get us back in plenty of time to disembark. They even offered us a deal of $40 apiece because the bus was about to leave. I was hesitant because I had worn flip flops, but the guy promised it was an easy walk. Dennis was an AMAZING guide! He drove us through the city, pointing out interesting sights and gave interesting details about the land, culture, and history of the area. The ruins were easy to walk around, as promised. Dennis continued to be a wealth of information as we toured the ruins. On our way back, Dennis continued to give information and answered all of our questions about life in Belize. And we were back in plenty of time! This tour appeared to be the same tour experience offered through Carnival and was a fraction of the price. We definitely recommend the company, especially Dennis, and plan to book through them again on our next stop in Belize!

This was by far the worse experience with a tour company EVER. We have done many, many cruises and Belize Caribbean Tours failed. We paid for a zip line tour and were send on the tour with a different group. Although the group was going to the same location, their tour was longer than ours and when we finish the zip line tour, we had to wait for 1 hour and 45 minutes for the rest of the group to finish. There was absolutely nothing else to do and nowhere else to go as we were in the middle of nowhere. We paid $65 for zip lines and a city tour, and the other group paid $45 for their tour. We didn't even get the city tour because we had to get back to the ship. Once back we spoke to the person in charge and his answer was, "You got what you paid for." So, I told him, "What you mean is I paid to do a 40 min zip line tour and then sit down and wait to get back on the bus and drive one hour and 10 mins back"? He was arrogant. Their motto is "Where the fun begins" DO NOT FALL FOR IT. Because it was a far drive, the driver was doing 80 miles/hour, the air conditioner was not working, and we didn't get to enjoy the tour. BELIZE CARIBBEAN TOURS, TERMINAL 4, BOOTH #1.....DO NOT USE THEM. PICK ANOTHER TOUR COMPANY. THEY HAVE PLENTY TO SELECT FROM. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER.

Gregory, from Big John's Tours, gave us a phenomenal day. He went totally above and beyond to make our day spectacular. Felt very safe. He was so fun & friendly.

Dennis Hislop Jr. (Dennis the Menace) was such a wonderful tour guide on our recent Belize City Tour!! He was so enthusiastic, fun, and very knowledgeable of the places that he took us to! It was a wonderful excursion because of Dennis!! He was so proud of his country and it showed. He spoke with such exuberance and excitement and made the tour very enjoyable. He answered all our questions and was a delight to be with. I would highly recommend this tour and be sure to ask for Dennis!!
