    A great Disney park!
October was my first every visit to Disney’s California Adventure. I really liked this park with all themed lands and areas. There are lots of attractions which are enjoyable especially in Cars Land! Both Cars Land and Pixar Pier I found to be some of the most immersive areas! Also in Disney’s California Adventure, I attended the Oogie Boogie Bash which I really enjoyed! It was great to trick or treat around the park, meet exclusive characters and get spooky! I highly encourage people to attend the Oogie Boogie Bash especially if they love Halloween! I definitely enjoyed the park days I spent in Disney’s California Adventure park and I look forward to returning again in the future! I highly recommend that everyone that visits Disneyland also visits this park because it is iconic and exclusive to California!

    Experience= Great, Shade= None
We really enjoyed this park, although it may not be as great as Disneyland. This park has some really good rides like Web Slingers and Radiator Springs Racers, and very immersive lands. We absolutely loved the water show as well. This park may be less organized and randomized and more “carnival” like, it’s still a decent experience nonetheless. My only major complaint is that this park has little to no shade, and it gets very miserable at times (not experience, heat).

Small but fun with lots of food options
1 day is more than enough to enjoy DCA. You could even do a half day. We went from 2 PM to 11 PM and used Lightening Lanes and Single Riders. Lots of places to sit, enjoy snacks and soak in the atmosphere. World of Color is absolutely amazing. It is the best show at the park. We didn’t do all of the rides and Lightening Lanes can run out by mid-afternoon. If you go at rope drop or do early entry, you might want a park hopper so that you can jump over to DL or go back to your hotel to rest.

    Pixar magic and thrilling adventures
The cocktails at Lamplight Lounge were fantastic, and Cars Land at night was breathtaking. Radiator Springs Racers was worth every minute of the wait. Pro tip: get the Genie+ pass - it saved us hours of queuing. The World of Color show was the perfect romantic end to our day.

    No Disney magic here
My husband and I were underwhelmed by this park. We found the park not as well decorated for Christmas and didn’t hold the same level of magic felt in Disneyland. We didn’t even bother to return for World of Color. Wait times are atrocious and most rides do not offer anything special. The only attraction worth seeing is Cars land and be prepared to wait 60 minutes or more for the car ride itself. Wait times are additionally inconsistent and change drastically within minutes which makes it difficult to plan accordingly. I find there are more characters here than in Disneyland, but good luck getting a photo with any of them. Lines are cut short quickly and characters can change while waiting in line which is disappointing. The only characters you are guaranteed to see is Encanto, but they are equally subject to availability and can change mid-line. Parade is subpar and not worth wasting your time to view. Barely any characters and the one who do show do not interact with the crowds. Take this time to ride the rides with larger wait times. Lightning lanes are a waste of money in my opinion, with standby lanes having shorter wait times than if you booked a lightning lane for an hour or more later. If we return, we would only focus on energy on Disneyland and not bother with this park.

Constant breakdowns and crazy long lines
The park in itself was nice enough. The reason for 2 stars, was the constant ride break downs. Waiting in Guardians for an hour only for it to break down and then increase the waiting to 3 hours is not exactly good when you pay the prices Disney charges. Other rides constantly broke down as well which was super frustrating. The theming was nice, and we had a good time at Pixar Pier, but other than that we weren't able to explore the rest of the park due to the breakdowns. Super disappointed in Disney for that

    Fun Times but start early
DCA was an awesome park. We did a 1 day with park hopper and started here. We did rope drop and headed straight to Cars Land and Radiator Springs. By the time we got to the line it said 85 minutes but when I asked I was advised to go now. It took about 30 minutes! The ride did have an issue right before we got on and it was delayed 5 minutes but other than that it was great. We had the lightning lane multi pass so I booked web slinger while waiting for Cars. We loved web slingers and booked Monster’s Inc using our LLMP. On our way to Monster’s Inc we went on to Pym’s test kitchen for the quantum pretzel and a delicious proton punch. Our reservation was ready for Monster’s so we went there and then off the Animation Academy and learned to draw Ursula! Disneyland Now it is time for us to park hop so we used a LLMP to book Smuggler’s run but had to wait an hour. And this is when the lightning lanes were few and far between or just hours later. We booked Mickey and Minnie’s railroad adventure and then headed to the room for a break and to get food to our room. Right before we left we booked Soarin and the Cars individual Lightning Lane. Compared to DCA, Disneyland was overcrowded. Evening return We came back for Soarin early and checked out the children’s play area which was fun. We did Soarin and headed to Cars for our reservation and were so thankful because the line for stand by was 185 minutes. Our day was done! Would I recommend two days, yes! Would I do a park hopper at least one day, yes! Would I do LLMP, yes, but it is only worth it in the morning until about 1 pm. By the time we came back around 4, there were only about 2 rides that offered any lightning lanes and the park was not closing early for Oogie Boogie night.

    Fantastic
I LOVE it over here!!❤️🥰!!! I dine @ the restaurants here-LOVE Carthay Circle & Magic Key Terrace! Soaring over the World is a favorite ride! I also like Carsland. Little Mermaid ride seems to be the shortest line/ fastest & it’s adorable🧜‍♀️

    A great day out!
Visited during Oogie boogie bash, and had a great day. Minimal queues and food and drink was reasonably priced. Seating in certain areas can be a little cramped but should be able to find somewhere. Also if possible do visit Oogie boogie bash, low queue times, and the character interactions and treat trails are great!

Plenty of Room at Disney California Adventure Park
We enjoyed our visit to this park as it was not over crowded and we got onto most rides without too much wait time. This park is nicely spread out and has a second entrance which we used to have Breakfast at Disney Grand California Hotel by the Pool. On our last day, we had Breakfast inside the park but its best to use the app to get into the que - we're not sure if it works accurately, but missed out in Disneyland Park due to not knowing we needed to use an app to book in for Breakfast in advance. We do not recommend wasting money on the early morning pass unless you simply want to que early, but its no longer the magical 1 hour pass before the park opens.

    A nostalgic adventure
It's vibrant and iconic, just like we remembered from our childhood. From thrilling rides to nostalgic shows, every corner brought back memories. We laughed, screamed, and even shed a tear (thanks, Pixar Pier). The churros were life-changing, and the staff? Absolute legends. If You're looking for a fun-filled, nostalgic trip, this is the place to be. Plus, where else can you hug a giant mouse and not look crazy?

    Brilliant Disney Park
Same amazing quality experience you expect from Disney, with some of the best rides of all time in this park. Some wait times can be long, so grab a Lightning Lane pass if you can. World of Colour at night is always an amazing spectacular to enjoy too.

    No Magic
I preface this review with the fact that we are all ex-CM from WDW and this was our first visit here, so our views may be skewed. Cars Land and Pixar Pier are the stars of this park. The rest seems to be filler except for the occasional repeat attractions of WDW. Cars Land is inviting, colorful and exciting even though more geared to the younger set. Don't miss the lights on at Sunset. Pixar Pier gves the "shore amusement area" vibe even if it is a sanitized version. The rest of the park, in general, doesn't hit the mark and is a disappointment. Avengers Campus is just plain awful. The "shows" are short in length and are basically character appearances. Not a draw to the informed. The Meet and Greets in CA are poorly run and can't compare to the lavish ones at WDW. No autographs from what I saw and the interaction was brief with a move on attitude. I found the CM not to be as engaging or helpful as WDW with a bit of a California attitude not providing the "magic". SanFransokyo is an absolute waste of space and time. Nothing to see there. This was, in general, an amusement park, not a Disney park in any way, shape or form. It seemed to come alive at night for the teens and young 20's crowd just like a shore pier. All lights and glow with no substance. The offerings for the younger kids just did not seem to outweigh the offerings for the older crowd nor was there anything for adults. It is clear who the targeted audience was. Very California. Ugh!

Disney doing what they do best!!!
I'm not sure where to start. This was our first-ever trip to Disneyland in California. The way the schedule worked out, we went to California Adventure first. The theme designs of each land were great, but none more so than Cars Land. It really gave you a vibe of walking through Radiator Springs. Avengers Campus was neat and I'm glad to hear that it's expanding. Both Spiderman and Mission: Breakout were phenomenal. We also went during Pixar Fest, so we got to try a lot of good food and meet some Pixar characters that we've never met before. The two biggest surprises for us were the Incredicoaster (which we ended up riding multiple times and the Ferris wheel. I had no clue that some of the gondolas moved around on a track as the Ferris wheel also turned! We were able to easily ride and do everything in this park in one day which was also nice. This was in large part to the single-rider line at Radiator Springs Racers which we rode twice and only had to wait a fraction of the time.

Disney California Adventure Park is a fun and lively place to visit. With exciting rides like the Incredicoaster, cool areas like Pixar Pier and Cars Land, and the awesome World of Color show, there's something for everyone. You can meet Disney and Marvel characters, enjoy tasty food, and explore different themed lands. The park is clean, the staff is friendly, and it's perfect for families and Disney fans. A visit here is sure to be a magical experience.

4 days over Christmas at Disneyland was magical for Adults and Kids. We found both parks to have a great balance of adventure rides, and low key rides.
tips:
- Get there before rope drop
- be prepared to walk over 30,000 steps a day
- bring food to eat in queues
- use Genie+… without it, we would not have had a good experience as the queues are massive (over 90mins in some cases)
- PLAN which rides you want and how you’re going to maximise Genie+

We travel from Australia regularly to visit Disney parks. On this occasion Security at the gate, with no idea of customer service or what Disney is supposed to be, decided to test my sunglasses by pushung down on them until they broke. Spent weeks emailing customer service who did everything but actually call me a liar, then after 6 weeks agreed to pay me $50. Thinking I would make it easier for them, I asked them to do something for my daughter who was going to Disneyland instead of the $50, single line response was "I will only give you the $50" they sent a US check in the mail which is pretty much useless in Australia. Disney has lost touch with their roots, disgraceful customer experience.

It is joyful as usual for all ages, so it is always on the list of all tourists as a must-do. The park is in Anaheim, which is so far from Los Angeles and Santa Monica. It was about 1 hour driving away from Santa Monica. My July visit was congested and the weather was quite hot. Disney parks always need good prior planning and use of maps and mobile application to navigate and well exploit the time. The night show is always the best end. The ticket price needs to be reduced to promote the visits.

DCA is less cohesive than Disneyland in terms of theming, but there are still some good rides and the shows are arguably better (currently the Rogers theatre, as well as things like Disney Jr Dance Party and Turtle Talk with Crush, the Spiderman show where the aerial leap is quite something).
The World of Color is also simply unmissable I think.
The major disappointment was that we didn't get to ride Radiator Springs Racers as it was down the day we were there, only opening in the evening but without Lightning Lane so it was a 120 minute wait which with tired kids we didn't think was do-able. Shame as it was one of the rides across Disneyland and DCA that we were most looking forward to

90 minutes to wait on line, mostly because other people payed $$$ more to get ahead of the line. A good learning principle about how capitalism screw you.

Disneyland resorts has 2 parks:
1. Disneyland
2. Disneyland adventure park

The Disneyland is more about characters like Alice, Micky, and has fantasy land etc. refer to the pics for things to do in both parks.

Submarine was a unique experience here. Don’t miss the parade and night fire works.

Disneyland adventure park has rides majorly and less characters. Overall a real magical experience for families with kids.
