- 649MaxM6490 contributionsTerrible Experience Renting from Sixt at Dulles International AirportWe had the worst experience renting from Sixt at IAD (Washington Dulles Airport). We reserved our car using Expedia on the 21st of Nov for pick up on the 25th of Dec. We arrived in to the Sixt only to realize they did not have our car (Chrysler Pacifica) available. They offered to give us a different car (Chevy Tahoe) which we took. They said the Chevy Tahoe would cost us less than the Pacifica so we had a credit. However, since we reserved the car using a 3rd party (Expedia), they could not issue us any credit. Instead they offered us a full tank of prepaid gas - fair enough. We still had some credit left which we just let go of. We returned the car on the 29th of Dec. expecting with were all done. However, a day later we see they charged my credit card $116.20. Which was not a valid charge given the car had been paid in full at time of rental and there were no outstanding charges. I called their customer service line where I had to hold for almost 35 min before a live person came online. He created a complaint tkt and now asked me to call back again tomorrow to see what the outcome of my claim is. Which means another 30 to 45 min gone. I would NEVER RENT FROM SIXT AGAIN!!!!Written January 5, 2024
- Abdi M0 contributionsAvis Car rental excellent customer careI recently had an experience with an employee of Budget Car Rental , Abu that I feel compelled to share , I accidentally left my luggage in the the shuttle bus and didn't realize this until I was already at the boarding gate. I was devastated, as my luggage contained my graduation cap tassel gown , pin , a pair of leather shoes ties and 2 suits , Mac book pro and some important personal documents . However, the situation quickly turned around when I received a call from Abu a honest employee who had found my luggage and immediately called to let me know. I cannot express how grateful I was for this individual's honesty and kindness. Not only did he save me from losing my important belongings, but he went above and beyond to ensure that I was reunited with my luggage as quickly as possible. This experience has truly restored my faith in humanity, and I cannot thank Abu enough for his honesty and integrity .I highly recommend Budget Car Rental for their exceptional customer service and for employing such honest and caring individuals. If you ever find yourself in need of a rental car, I highly suggest giving them a try.Written April 24, 2023
