Our tour was led by the owner, Barry, and it was one of the best tours we’ve ever done! We had our family of four, including two young children, and Grandma. Barry did an excellent job of keeping the kids entertained, including fun little gifts for them throughout the tour. We got to stop and walk around the monuments and memorials that we wanted and it was such a great way to see D.C. The tour was worth every penny and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a personalized, fun tour! We loved it!

My wife and I did this tour with Barry as our guide and it was absolutely fantastic! He had such a huge amount of knowledge about not only DC, but also all American history. We got to see all the main highlights, going at a nice pace and allowing us time to stop for a little longer at certain spots if we wanted. Would highly recommend this!!

This is by far the best tour I have ever been on, Barry did an amazing job showing us different things downtown. We had so much fun and I highly recommend choose Adventure DC and Barry for the best tour in DC. He even got us as close as possible to the metro at night which made us feel so safe. Both tours we have taken with Adventure DC have been outstanding! In 2023, we took a July 4th evening private tour after the fireworks, and learned a lot about DC History. Our guide also recommended the perfect viewing spot on the mall before our ride, and provided concierge level personalized recommendations that helped us have an amazing time! In 2024, we were thrilled to join again! The tricycle setup had been totally upgraded to be even more comfortable! We did a hidden gems/off the beaten path tour from Folger Shakespeare to Eastern Market, then through the museums and to Chinatown! The guide was incredibly flexible to suit our interests and coordinated a pickup/drop off that really suited our itinerary. The tricycle tour is absolutely the BEST way to see the sights of DC, especially when it's too hot to walk. Despite 95 degree heat which would have otherwise trapped us indoors, we were comfortable and saw so many things we wouldn't have been able to make it to. Our guide showed us hidden gems we had never heard of, despite spending a lot of time in DC! Our guide was so passionate and knowledgeable, and we felt comfortable asking as many questions as we wanted as we knew he'd have great answers and seemed to really enjoy sharing his wealth of knowledge! We highly recommend booking a tricycle tour, and reaching out to the company to discuss any questions that are preventing you from booking, as the personal attention from the guide made our experience absolutely perfect! We cannot wait to return!

Barry is a genuinely nice guy! What an enjoyable enlightening experience from the moment we asked him a question he was immediately helpful and such a gentleman. So we decided to take a tour with him. Best decision of our trip ! Barry has uncommon historical information and is so proud of his hometown and sharing it with others. We stopped Barry on the National mall for a ride. He was very accommodating and took us around the monuments, White House, and Capitol, from one end to the other. He knew all the history and interesting facts and turned our day into a memorable event. Plus it's a long way to walk so he saved us. He was great. We will definitely refer him.

We were recently in Washington DC for vacation and I had the great fortune of doing an internet search and finding DC Tricycle Tours. With no advanced reservation and for on the same day, the owner Barry worked with me to create a plan to see exactly what we wanted to in the timeframe we sought. He set us up with one of his team members, Isaac, whom he promised would be great. WOW was he correct! Isaac picked us up at our location and delivered a 2 hour tour that was unforgettable. Of course there was the energy saved of not walking miles in 80 degree heat, but the value of being in a comfortable bike that could stop and start as we liked was great. But what was AWESOME was Isaac's knowledge he shared of each of the monuments and sights we visited, with some real gems of secrets you'd never get by yourself or on a general tour (i.e. bus). I highly recommend DC Tricycle Tours, and if we are ever back in DC we will do it again for sure!

We had such a fantastic morning touring D.C. with our 4 kids. Barry was so accommodating, fun, and made the pedicab ride such an enjoyable & informative experience for our family. We went on an incredible tour on Barry’s limo trike yesterday through DC. I live here but had family visiting and Barry was extremely knowledgeable with extra special tidbits of knowledge that I had not known. He was friendly, engaging and even got the preteen to smile (we even think she had a great time). Barry’s tour was thorough, the ride was comfy and he was very skilled at navigating DC. I will definitely go on more of his tours.

This was a super fun way to see DC. I used to come to DC for business and when I did have time, I would walk and walk and walk. But this was a WAY better way. We got lucky as we did get Barry - the owner! He has written a GREAT book about DC sites, including great places to eat. His book is WAY better than anything put out by Rick Steves. Strongly suggest you consider this method of seeing DC on your next visit.

Pedicab tour was great! We wanted a quick tour of all the monuments and the DC area so we could figure out where we wanted double back and spend more time for the rest of our week-long trip. This was the perfect tour for that purpose. Our guide also pointed out some neat places that are known to locals only. I would book this tour again.

Our tour guide Barry from Adventure DC tricycle tours was very helpful from the planning of the tour to the tour execution. He also moved up our tour by a few hours so we could miss the afternoon forecasted rain. We have two tweens (10&12) and we picked the SCOOTER TOUR. They LOVED it. In three hours we got checked out on our scooters to make sure everyone was comfortable riding, stopped to load up our drink holders with water, and travelled the entire mall stopping to see the Washington Monument, White House (with surprise Presidential take off from the south lawn in Marine One), Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, MLK Memorial, Korean War Memorial, WWII Memorial, and the Capitol. The rain started coming down in the last 15 minutes and Barry had his team ready with a van to pick up the scooters right in front of our hotel so we didn’t have to walk back in the rain. He shared some surprise gifts with our kids, took amazing family photos of us and was so knowledgeable. What a gem! Our kids asked to go again tomorrow. That is high praise. Take a tour with Barry and it will be the highlight of any family trip to D.C.

We went on the scooter tour with Barry, and had such a good time! I think our total party was like 5-6 people. We met at the rental shop first, which is conveniently located by this quiet alley, where everyone got to practice riding the scooters. It was nice making friends with the other riders too. Barry is a wonderful host and navigator. Super knowledgeable and fun! 10/10 would recommend. I know there are a bunch of other tours to try (which I honestly haven't). But I don't know.. I think I'm sold. I will be doing the next one with Barry again.
