Great way to see a different side of DC
Eli was great! He answers all the questions and stayed engaged with everyone on the tour. This tour allows you to see the beautiful Georgetown area, hear spooky stories and some other fun facts.

    Best Ghost Tour Ever
Eli was the best tour guide we had all week. He physically defeated at least ghouls while on the tour, saving all of our lives. We will never forget you, Eli.

    No scaries here!
Had a great time on the tour! Hearing both ghost stories and some American History intertwined in was the icing on the cake of a lovely evening stroll thru Georgetown!

    Just a Walking Tour
It was ok. We liked our guide but there were no real ghost experiences. No access to any buildings. You stop in front of some nice homes which we enjoyed and of course the stories are cool but this tour is not going to change a skeptics mind on whether ghosts exist or not.

    Amazing
Ingeborg did an amazing time! She was very interactive and made the tour great even though we were all a little cold. We saw several different sites and Ingeborg brought the ghosts to life. She has many photos she showed us as well. I’m sure if it had been warm enough that we had wanted to pull out our phones we would have seen ghosts as well. Would definitely do again and definitely recommend.

A Local Exploring Their Own City
As a DC local I love exploring a neighborhood and its food. It is always nice to be a tourist in your city, a few friends of mine gathered together and instead of making our own plan, we went with a tried and true company that I've used in several cities around the globe. Eastern market had lots to offer and this is a not to miss tour for any foodie visiting Washington DC

This was an amazing tour! It was cold that night, but that added to the fun. Our guide, Georgia, was an amazing story teller and extremely knowledgeable about the places we visited. I would definitely recommend if you are a history, ghost, Civil War, or just an architecture buff!

Fun and interesting window to Georgetown history
Great guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and fun—and great tour. We learned a lot of history and got a great sense of the area, past and present.

I booked before xmas last for myself and my cousin to go on the Walking Tour in Shaftesbury. Having lived their a long time I thought it would be fun to see if they knew anything fun about the place or heard stories I hadn't. We were taken with a lovely Lady called Fiona, she handed out devices and dowsing rods, which I took and you could certainly feel them being pulled round. My cousin tried the headphones and she did hear voices and was having a fun chat with whoever was on the other end, not sure who but the names of Ann and Di came through. I think we were able to clue the lady in on a few things as we've seen many changes. She said there was going to be another one in the summer, when we hope we can get to an old churchyard and down Pine Walk, which is where I've heard for years the ghost of a Monk should be seen/felt. We will book again and look forward to it. Highly recommended. Spoken to cousin and she enjoyed it too.

    Fun and interesting experience!
Our tour guide, Ingeborg, seemed very knowlegeable and was a great storyteller. We enjoyed seeing and learning the history of Georgetown. There were a few times I wish I could have gotten better pictures but I wasn't prepared and the group was moving on very quickly. It was cold, so that might be why it was moving so fast. But I would just warn people who want pics to be prepared and get them quickly or you'll get left behind. Also, people should be aware that it's a fairly vigorous walk, some going uphill, so you need to make sure you are physically able to do it.

The Lincoln assassination tour was fantastic, I really can’t recommend it enough! Becca was incredibly knowledgeable, so enthusiastic and she just did a wonderful job of keeping the group engaged and entertained. Two hours flew by, with regular stops and clever use of tech aids to bring us back to the day of the assassination (many buildings have changed appearance, so Becca showed us pictures of what they looked like on the day). We loved this tour so much. If you’re looking for something a bit unique and totally fascinating, don’t waste any time - do this one!

My husband and I are originally from Illinois, went to the Springfield museum, watched the Apple TV series Manhunt, and otherwise educated us about the assassionation. Yet we learned things we never knew on our tour with Katherine Fisher! The tour was entertaining and educational and the two hours just flew by. We highly recommend it!

Lindsey was a fabulous tour guide. She relayed A LOT of interesting, educational information. Our group of Mom’s and kids ranging from 9-16 absorbed every word. The 7 pm tour was fantastic because the hot, humid July weather has tempered down for the evening.

Becca was a great story teller and guide! She kept us moving but was able to accommodate everyone’s needs. She also provided places to lean onto the wall or sit down. She was animated and told the story so well we were all captivated. Our kids ages 11, 13 and 16 listened intently the whole time. The 2 hours passed by so fast. We were concerned it would be too cold but it wasn’t bad and it was nice to see DC at night.

This was my third tour with this company because I enjoyed the first tour so much. The guides are really knowledgeable and made the tour fun for all the visitors in the group no matter their age or where they are from. We were the only Americans on this tour and I felt the guide did a really good job of explaining the who and why of this event without talking down to the international visitors but that also helped me really understand everything, even though I learned (or thought I had learned) about Lincoln's assassination in school

The guide wove an informative and engaging story about the conspirators who carried out the assassination. Brought to life the history of the conspirators and what the city was like that night of the assassination. Did you know they planned two other assassinations that night? Take the tour and learn all about it!

Wether you are a history buff or a fan of intriguing dramas, you are going to love this walking tour. Becca brought this saga to life as we walked through DC keeping us on the edge of our seats the whole time, even though we knew how the story ends. There was never a dull moment and you can tell she's really passionate about the subject matter as she gave us historical context to all of the events leading up to the fateful event. A+

We were pleasantly surprised at how entertaining our walking tour was. Our guide was funny, knowledgeable and engaging. The weather was perfect and the distance was reasonable. We learned so much and our 11 year old and college kids all loved it.
