Lindsey was a fabulous tour guide. She relayed A LOT of interesting, educational information. Our group of Mom’s and kids ranging from 9-16 absorbed every word. The 7 pm tour was fantastic because the hot, humid July weather has tempered down for the evening.

Becca was a great story teller and guide! She kept us moving but was able to accommodate everyone’s needs. She also provided places to lean onto the wall or sit down. She was animated and told the story so well we were all captivated. Our kids ages 11, 13 and 16 listened intently the whole time. The 2 hours passed by so fast. We were concerned it would be too cold but it wasn’t bad and it was nice to see DC at night.

Canden's tour is filled with so much detailed history. She kept our whole group interested and engaged the entire time. I would recommend to anyone who loves historical story telling, especially ones about murder and drama!

Wether you are a history buff or a fan of intriguing dramas, you are going to love this walking tour. Becca brought this saga to life as we walked through DC keeping us on the edge of our seats the whole time, even though we knew how the story ends. There was never a dull moment and you can tell she's really passionate about the subject matter as she gave us historical context to all of the events leading up to the fateful event. A+

Our tour guide was engaging and welcoming. I liked how he delivered the stories and history of President Lincoln’s final days. I also appreciated that he had photos on hand to help us visualize what everything looked like so long ago.
It was a fun way to see DC at night and learn more about President Lincoln. I went alone on the tour and felt safe and entertained.

I loved this tour! I learned so much about Lincoln and his assassination on this tour in addition to the contextual historical elements surrounding the time. It was also great to have something that was a little removed from the typical national mall monuments and memorials (which I still love!). Would highly recommend!

The Lincoln Assassination Tour was a really nice way to spend an evening in DC. Our guide Boglarka was really good and kept the tour group entertained with her story telling. There was not a lot of walking involved, about a mile or so with several stops between Lafayette park and Ford's theatre.

From March 17--21 my husand and I accompanied a group of 52 tenth-graders and a few parents to DC. The highlight of the trip was the Lincoln Assassination tour. Our guide Rebecca was phenomenal! She was witty, engaging, and enthusiastic while providing a wealth of information. She was our guide on two other tours--and provided the same quality service. We will definitely use this company again and request that Rebecca be our guide!! She makes history come alive!

I always love using Free Tours by Foot wherever I travel... they are in many locations across the country including Philadelphia, NY, San Francisco, Boston and others. Their docents are always informative and the tours are always rich in information and history. This tour was no exception... the docent Boglarka was wonderful. Make sure to check out their other wonderful tours in DC including the Embassy tour, Secrets and Scandals, Georgetown, etc. They are all well worthy of your time and the best part is you just tip the docent at the end what you felt the tour was worth. It's the best deal you can find to get a lay of the land and learn a lot of substantive history!

My boyfriend, cousin, and I did the nighttime Lincoln Assassination Tour with Rebecca and she was wonderful! She was upbeat, very funny, and filled with information about Lincoln and the events leading up to and following his assassination. For not being a big history buff, I was entertained and learned a lot- the tour lasts about 2 hours although we only walked a mile and a half or so. There were a number of stops outside homes or buildings but be ready to be on your feet for the whole 2 hours. I highly recommend this company and all tour guides work on tips ONLY.

Are there any other tours scheduled for March. I only see 3/4 and was hoping to do this sometime during weeks 2 or 3. Are tours only on Friday's? Trying to dovetail with the Van Gogh exhibit which ends 3/22
