Cycling with Jeff through DC was amazing! A 10 out of 10!! The tour exceeded our expectations, as all three kids (17, 14, 12) announced that this bike tour was the best part of our trip. Jeff has a wealth of knowledge about DC, and was certain to share stories you don't typically hear about in history books. Jeff was a great guide (we stopped at all the big destination spots, and he took us to some of the lesser known spots as well), photographer (he graciously took photos of our family in front of all of the stops), and host (he brought us all personal water bottles, snacks, and extra clothing to adapt to the weather). The trip was a fun way to see the city, while also sneaking in a little exercise. We highly recommend Jeff's bike tour and this experience!

It is hard to come up with a new or different way to describe what an amazing Tour we had with Jeff. All the reviews are accurate but they can never describe just how great the experience is. We have done a number of bike tours in cities when we travel but nothing has come close to our Tour of Washington with Jeff. It wasn't just his in depth knowledge of Washington and safe cycling practices, but the fact that Jeff has biked around the world made for such fascinating conversation. He was fun and interesting. We never felt hurried and were amazed by the generosity of his time.

This is the tour you want if you are visiting DC! Jeff and DC Cycling Concierge completely customized our ride and gave my husband and I everything we could have imagined for the experience. We really wanted to explore DC and get the layout of the city so we could learn about cool areas and hear interesting facts about the town's development and secret spots. Jeff met us at our hotel with bikes, we rode to Georgetown, saw the University, past really cute neighborhoods, stopped by Julia Child's and Jackie Kennedy's former house, and took a little break at a cute coffee shop. We went along the water front of the Potomac River, to the Wharf, past the Nationals stadium, and to Navy Yard. Plus stops at the Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, WWII Memorial, Washington Monument, and the Capital. We had originally booked a 3 hr tour but were having such a good time we ended up extending our tour so we could see more and experience the monuments at night, they truly are so beautiful all lit up! Jeff was incredibly knowledgeable about the city, full of interesting, fun, and cool facts. I couldn't imagine seeing the city via any other method, than by bike. Jeff prioritizes safety and ensures you are comfortable and confident during the ride. He knows all the protected bike routes and lanes, so we could breeze past traffic and get up close to the best sites. He guided us so well, we felt confident renting bikes the next couple of days to revisit some of the sites he has shown us during the tour. (Highly recommend trying to catch the sunset from the rooftop bar at the Pendry on the wharf!) Thanks, Jeff and DC Cycling Concierge. Jeff was amazing. He took our family of 9 on DC biking tour of the mall. He is extremely knowledgable, super interesting and tells funny stories. He did an amazing job of keeping our children engaged. This was a great way to see all the sites and be moving at the same time. We highly recommend booking!

This tour was one of the highlights of my family's trip to DC and it was the absolute perfect way to do DC with kids. Jeff was fantastic - he engaged my kids through the whole day, made the history and context come alive. He was super flexible, handling a 6, 8 and 10 year old's questions (and need for extra breaks) like the pro he clearly is. I booked Jeff's tour after experiencing his DC biking series on iFIT at home. We had a family of five that included children in the preteen to teenager range. Jeff met us at our place of lodging with the comfortable bikes, water bottles, and snacks. He led us to a variety of sites during the Monuments and Mall tour with accompanying historical facts and fun stories. Jeff customed the tour and asked several times for customer input as the ride was unfolding. Our family would have never covered as much ground or learned as much interesting information about Washington DC without Jeff. He went above and beyond with the extensiveness of our experience. We were in town for business and wanted to end the week with a fun activity. Jeff came highly recommended. I’ve visited the DC sites before, but never with a tour guide. Jeff absolutely crushed it. He took 7 of us on a bike tour which is the best way to see the city. He’s an amazing storyteller and historian. He’s animated and engaging. I can’t recommend this experience enough. If you are coming to DC, book this tour!

Jeff was recommended to us from family friends who had taken his tour. Our family of 4 (me, hubby, two "kids" ages 18 and 20) had the most amazing ride. I am not great on a bike and let Jeff know prior to our visit. Jeff setup my bike the way I wanted, kept an eye on me during our ride and customized our ride to limit riding in traffic as much as possible. We had no idea how bike friendly DC is, partly due to Jeff's previous advocacy work. I was much more at ease seeing the barriers and bright/wide bike lanes throughout the city. We could not believe how many monuments/sights Jeff showed us during our ride, and he kept us totally engaged with historical facts (both textbook and anecdotal) peppered with lots of dad jokes! We would highly recommend this to get a great overview of DC because it would have been exhausting by foot yet much more personal than a bus tour. Jeff was prompt at our hotel with everything we needed, including water bottles which we got to keep and snacks to fuel our ride. He took multiple family photos for us during the ride which he airdropped when we were done. We would totally do this again on a future visit!

Jeff had all our bikes ready to ride when he arrived at our hotel. There were six persons in our group, ranging in ages from 15 to 78. The ride -- about 11 miles -- was a perfect length for our group and included the Washington Monument (where Jeff took an iconic picture of us), Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, WWII Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, along the Potomac to Georgetown, and Arlington National Cemetery. It was more than just sightseeing -- Jeff provided a most informative historical and cultural narrative -- interspersed with a sense of humor and infectious laugh -- as we cycled along. Whether as an introductory ride of D.C. or as a more in-depth view of the City by those who are already acquainted with it, I highly recommend Jeff Miller at DC Cycling Concierge as your guide.

Ella took us all around the DC mall monuments. She and Jeff were ready for us outside our hotel before 8am and we had a lovely morning beating the heat. Ella's historical knowledge and fun facts were great. Truly appreciate the local knowledge. She showed us where we would meet our next tour (behind the capital) and we thankfully followed her suggestion to end our tour at "We the Pizza" for lunch between our tours. We did this tour as a family of 4 with a 13 and 15 year old.

What an awesome experience with Charlie. We took a 50km loop around DC from our hotel. The parks, cycling infrastructure and sights were amazing. Arrangements prior to the tour was simple, fast, efficient and most of all, customizable! My wife is pretty new to cycling and she did the distance in good time and enjoyed in thoroughly! I had a gravel and wifey had a hybrid. Bikes were well maintained and we even got free bottles too!

Jeff worked with me to customize our surprise anniversary day ride. We had seen some of the key sights but not all before the ride. If we were near a “must see,” Jeff was happy to lead us right to the front! He took photos along the way so we didn’t have to worry about that. We rode about 20 miles and had plenty of water and snacks available. Very knowledgeable about the District and what a fun ride!! Highly recommended experience!
